So just some updates.

I found the most the chicas in Diamond to be putas. All about the dinero. There was one REALLY hot chica there that acted as if I was invisible and looked like she was dying of boredom.

GoodTimes was a little better. Girls were more fun and nicer except one chica that looked pretty good that didn't show no interest in me or my friend when we tried to talk to her. I mean WTF? One thing I didn't like is it is to damn dark in that place!

Me and my buddy just had some drinks and didn't partake in any paid action at the strip clubs.

So I returned from my trip to Nicaragua! Had a blast! Nicas are the most aggressive chicas I have seen and I've been to MANY latin american countries.

Only went to Good Times and Diamond. Diamond was a complete waste. Chicas in there are hardcore about the money. Good Times was better but it still paled in comparison to Lips in San Salvador with how friendly and fun all the girls are. Tried to talk to this one tall light skinned chica and she just didn't seemed interested at all (I'm 26, good looking ect). I was like WTF. Two girls finally came over and chilled with us for a little while but then left and sat on the couches alone. Again WTF. Needless to say we didn't return back.

Went to San Juan Del Sur. Cool for a day or two. Didn't see many nicas. Only hippied out gringas, which isn't my scene.

I'm a older guy, and have been with a lot of Chicas who tell me they prefer older guys (speaking p4p now ). I think a lot of the hot ones have not had much luck extracting money from the younger good looking guys then the older Monger. Airport:

Easy to get through, $10 tax that is paid at immigration.

Once you get through customs, be prepared to be beset with every airport taxi driver in the area. $20 to go to the MetroCentro area.

Currency:

Seems like they value American dollars more than their own currency, which like most Central American countries looks more like monolply money. Some establishments will not take $100 bills, which I've seen in other CA countries as well. In fact, one place did not even take a C20 bill that was not the new synthetic material. Odd!

Hotels:

Saw the likes of the Intercontinental and Seminole Plaza; both way over priced for the likes of a city of Managua's standards.

We stayed at a B&B behind the Diamond Club; Hotel Aloha; $60 / night, no-frills, no thrills, not likely Nica friendly. That didn't discourage me though, my likes for TNL are long gone, unless I'm in Thailand, which I believe offers the last of any GFE experience; IMHO. It's nice place to stay if you're looking for a place to flop that is walking distance to MetroCentro, Hippa-Hippa, Hippos and Woody's.

Beers:

Fell in love with "Premium", a light colored beer. Most establishments charge $2 / bottle, less in the out of the touristy areas.

Eateries:

The aforementioned are good for quality food that even the locals are willing to pay American prices for, LOL. I do recommend Woody's for their ribs (17 full slab) ; Hippos for a good burger ($8). If you're looking for a quality fish dinner, walk across from the aforementioned and there's a fish restaurant where the waiters were navy uniforms ($15) ; recommend the smoked salmon. These [places all have plenty of young professional Nicas, if you got your rap on.

Street Walkers:

Saw a plenty on the walk to Pharos Casino. Near the now closed Elite. A couple good lookers, asking $10. $20, but where to take them?

Strip Clubs:

As noted, Elite is closed. According to our taxi driver; the owners were involved in drugs. Go figure!

Only one I really wanted to see was Good Times; which seemed to get the best reviews on ISG. Got there Friday about 9 pm; C50 cover; don't think that included any free drinks. As THB noted correctly, very dark inside. We sat at the bar which there are few and far between seats, but it does offer some light at the bar. The three of us were met by two hot nicas, I'd give a solid 8 to; no pun intended. I'll get to that later. There were maybe 20-25 nicas, and equal number of local males who were there as well. The girls sit mostly on many of the couches, so it's kind of hard to figure who is good versus who is not. The one that was hitting on me; as 23-year old, I think Yessica was her name, bore the scars of at least one baby. However, she worked hard for her two drinks as I got to explore all the wares at the bar and she practically pulled it out and jacked me off at the bar. As I said, there are couches aplenty, but I'd be afraid of what the black light and roach traps would show in the morning. The few girls who do dance do 2 to 3 song sets with total nudity on the final dance. On site: $50 American for 30 minutes. The room is a queen size box spring and mattress with a toilet and shower. The $50 gets you a hand towel and too small condom, LOL. The shower didn't get any use though; the girl I took in went right back out after the deed and was back to work with that sweet condom smell for whoever wanted to go down on her after I did her; though going down on her was furthest thing from my mind. She was a spinner, but mechanical; CCBJ, some ball sucking, etc. If it wasn't me pushing her around to different positions, it would have been much duller that it was. Did the deed in 20 minutes and was back to the bar for another cold one. Beer that is.

Casinos:

Pharo's is the only game in town with quality tables. For those into Caribbean Poker, you can buy a card there, fewer and fewer CA countries do that now (Panama still does at Fiesta). On Friday, there were some definite pros, maybe semi-pros as well.

Drinks, ; at least beer, coffee, water; are free if you partake in the table games. Must have had about 20 beers playing poker last week, so I got my money back!

Things to do:

Do lunch at the nice open air bar on Lake Managua. There are at least two grungy markets that we went to where you can buy really cheap stuff, cheap. I'm talking Polo shirts for $6 - $8. You know you're not in Kansas anymore when the taxi driver tells you to be careful. If you're a seasoned traveler and clothes shopper, you know you get better deals for knock-offs in Thailand.

Day trips:

Granada is worth seeing; it's about 50 minutes by taxi from the MetroCentro Mall. On the way back you should have your driver take you to the look-out over the Lagoon de Apollo. Masaya is a cheaper and scaled down version of Granada.

Taxi's:

There are a million of them in Managua. Key is finding the handful that have a / see, let alone doors with door handles. Cost for Gringos is anywhere from C100. C200, depending on the distance. Like everywhere else in CA, stay away from hotel taxi's and negotiate before you commit.

There is a good driver at the main entrance to MetroCentor Mall, his name is Ramon. He took us to Granada and charged $7. 50 an hour; we bought him lunch as well on the way back, he was that good. You can tell his cab by the NY sticker on the driver's side passenger window, buy I went with him anyway, LOL.

Safety:

As a challenged Spanish speaking Gringo, I wouldn't do it on my own. The only English speaker we encountered was the day manager at the B & B mentioned above. Thankfully, one of my wingmen speaks fluent Spanish and had been to MGA twice before. Because there were three of us, we regularly walked the 1/4 to. 5 miles from the B & B past the Seminole Hotel to the Gringo areas. I wouldn't do it at night though. Interestingly, we were woken two nights by early morning gunfire. This morning, there must have been 100 to 150 gun shots in succession, hope they hit whatever they were shooting at. Saw NOT a one police car in Managua.

General:

If you have an interest to go; I recommend you look up the latest Travel Channel show put on by Anthony Bordaine (sp?). It's a real eye opener as to the poverty in Managua. Believe me, kids really do dig through garbage looking for something; ANYTHING of value.

Stray dogs are a plenty; note to self. Must open a Chinese restaurant there.

All in all; saw it once and will likely not venture back there again. Definitely not alone, anyway. If you're solo and not much in speaking de Espanol, you might want to stick to CR and PTY.
