Yes there are few good Pizzeria´s in Praha as we know.
The only Grosseto restaurant I have used is on Jugoslávských partyzánu and it was quite OK.

I have liked the Colesum one in Na Prikope or Ovocny Trh and used to be my favorite one in the summertime, but now my favorite one is at Pankrac Hotel Pizzeria Pankrac near red line Metro Prazského Povstaní.

Like IS Guide and Mark ABC have pointed out there are ATM's all over Prague, but if you do decide to take some foreign Cash I would recommend you to change at [url]http://www.camfexgroup.com/en/exchange_rates/[/url] I found Normally they give the best rates it is near Metro Národní Trída a short walk from Tesco, but on one visit a bank called Exchange on Kaprova ulice in the old town gave better rates and that was Euros [url]http://kolik.cz/[/url] in other banks I have seen I have not been saticfied with the rates of Foreign exchange.

If I recall correctly, CamFex certainly had the best rate when I was last in town. But I think they had a high minimum conversion amount. Not a big deal obviously in this hobby ...LOL.. but just something to know.

Then that must have changed, I agreed with the apartment agency I use that I would pay in Euros as we agreed it did not make any difference if me or him went to Camfex. So I cashed my last €100 there and got their good rate, which is obviously not so good now a days.

Somebody will catch you in the street and will offer you exchange your euro or dolars for czech crowns for very good exchange rate. They will not give you a current czech crowns but some old, unusefull poland/slovakia money which even not exist any more. So you dont have any possibility to get your mone back.
Be avare of those "strange" street transactions.

Also be carefull that your money will not have any defects as some pictures or rips on notes as they are refused by banks, exchange offices and shoppers. The reason is very simple. As Czech Republic will get the euro currency not earlier than 2013, for bank is much dificult to handle with those "defect" money and prefer the "clear" ones.

Yes, it's a very old trick used in Prague for many years now... You can meet these guys i.e. on Wenceslas square in front of Jalta hotel or Debenhams department store. They are definitely not czech (but coming from further East). There are taking your USD, EUR or GBP notes and giving you i.e. removed BGN notes (bulgarian Leva) :) The funny point is bulgarian language is using cyrilic alphabet not the czech one but tourists don't make the difference and are not suspicious when receiving bank notes using cyrilic alphabet...

Good warning from Ziraell regardings dammaged bank notes (torn down, tagged or missing a piece), it' s true that they are often refused in shops, supermarkets...

Personnally, I often change money at the metro station Staromeska : when you take the exit (the one for the Old City Place Staremeske, something like that), arrived at the top of the stairs you can see the exchange rates (Net) they propose, but the entrance is on the street, not in the Metro station.

here at home in such raining may and looking forward to come back in the gold city, I simply cannot wait for it....I thought to killing the time writing a comparison I never seen in this thread with hope that my experience can be useful for some beginners of Praha.

What I mean with Privat? They are normal flats where you usually find semipros that often speak only czech, they are not model type, more similar to the girl next door, but so friendly you can really get a GFE. Then the main question about privat is: how to find them ? Cause you have to call, they tell you mostly in czech language the street and the number you have to find in the map, take taxi or metro, often across the city and once there you have to call again.

Night club is... the place where you will find yourself asking: hey, who is gonna fuck who here ? Cause they are the typical rip off place, they exist only for you-me turists, why ? Cause usually czech man never go to spend a lot when they can get more spending much less. The night club is the place where an ugly girl instead to work in a restaurant 10 hours per day can make a lot of money thank to the turists who will pay for her and I saw many examples such this in the years...

To make long short:


Privat:

+ bbbj and dfk is almost always allowed, sometimes for free, sometimes for a very little tip about +200/500kc
+ very friendly girls, sometimes you will get a DFK already in shower when she will wash your body as your girlfriend never did
