Fifth day, I don't find anyone who attracts me. I have a drink before going out, another round, and a wonder. First time doing it for work. Scared at first, but then everything was fine.

Clean rooms.

Travel.

Noisy disco. But there's an OK little bar behind it. Found a nice one, which I didn't like that much. But everything is subjective. 1 hour.

365 k (24 euro) euro plus tip politely solicited 100 k (6 euro).

In this area there are many karaoches where there is no singing, of course. Full of beautiful girls. I visit many of them. Picked up a pretty one 19 years old declared, the mamasan asked me to be gentle because she was still in her infancy. But then saggy breasts and an obvious cold. She was sick, poor thing, but that was really annoying for me. The mamasan on the way back asked me how it had gone and I said all was well, I didn't feel like railing on a sick girl. Although that evening maybe she should have finished and rested. Maybe I should have said it for that. Price 400 k about 1 hour (more than classic, for us little more).

Rooms clean but not nice. In my opinion to be renovatedOther.

Visited a hotel venue, can't remember the name. Super concert. But chicks in their 40's or a pull. Chased by women I didn't like. Escaped home.

In my hotel nice time wit a yoga teacher working in Jakarta. Nice girl.

Jakarta, in my opinion a nice GT destination. High quality at an excellent price.

For the rest, however, the city largely sucks (no pavements, very hot, ugly, lots of women wearing headscarves, often unpleasant people).

I mean Jakarta just smells of sex. That's after the car fumes and the sewers of course but you can just look at most them and know what is pulsing away underneath.

OS is at home with lady OS when a middle aged aquaintance of hers comes to visit for the specific purpose of requesting whether we can find her a bule. On the way back down in the lift she is quizzing lady OS about what it is all like to be squirming around on the end of OS's big thing. Or another couple of friends where dressed with big round glasses in a nice conservative muslim dress, she never misses a chance of a sly rub. The same lady who when OS first started discovering the pleasures of Indonesia would find girls from the local neighbourhood and bring them to OS hotel with her husband. Ya got to love this place.

Any readers who have spent time on the sea will understand the equation whereby the longer the voyage, the better looking the girls are at the end (And OS means any girl.) A fortnight at sea and you can find yourself staring lustily at any old boiler. Fortunately in Jakarta you can experience the opposite where after a long night of fornicating. OS has got his big thing buried in another firm breasted little 19 yo and wondering if he should just stop and have a beer. Ah Jakarta!

Basically do a google search for Apotek where you are staying and you'll find a multiple of small independent shops. Didn; t get any the last trip as I had stocked up in KL last month.

Although I've been living in Singapore over 4 years, I have never made the trip to Jakarta, because I always default to Philippines and Thailand which are more familiar to me. Anyway, decided to take the plunge for a short 3 night exploratory stay in Jakarta at the end of this month. Question I had was hotel location. I see the Grand Mercure Harmoni is the closest to the action but I have points on Marriott and get a free 3 nights at much better hotels (Westin, LE Meridien, JW Marriott) etc. If I stay in one of those its a 40 min cab ride to Classic or Travel. But closer to BATS, CJ; s etc. Does it make sense to stay in South Jakarta and take a daily ride to Classic in the afternoon, and then maybe the FL clubs in the South at night? Is the South a nicer area to stay in terms of dining options etc? How about massage shops (legit and naughty) in either area?

Also anyone in Jakarta those days want to meet up I am happy to do so.

[/QUOTE]The Mercure Harmoni is a fine 4 star hotel in close proximity to Malio & Classic. You can't go wrong staying at this hotel for a short duration trip. But that said, I prefer to stay at various 5 star hotels in the Golden Triangle in the south. I have both the Marriott and Hyatt CC's, so staying on points and free voucher nights at these hotels is the best deal in town.

So, for Mariott members, let me recommend the The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan over the Marriott. It is a much nicer hotel for approximately the same number of points. I also like the Grand Hyatt. What you get on top of great accommodations at these 5 stars is a great garden / pool area to relax and unwind in the afternoon before hitting the bordellos and a great breakfast buffet to start out the day.

The Grand Hyatt is located almost halfway in between Malio and Cj's and is situated on top of the most luxurious shopping mall in Jakarta. It takes an extra 10 minutes to taxi from The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan or the Marriott to travel north to the bordellos, for example, but it takes less time to taxi to CJ's. And travel time from the Grand Hyatt to Malio is approximately 20 minutes at 8:30 pm, so staying in the south is not a problem as far as the bordellos are concerned and travelling from Malio or anywhere in the north to CJ's around midnight is not a problem either.
