The relative cost for mongering, etc. Is much higher in Japan [as is true in Korea and lesser extent Taiwan] so they will flock over to LOS and other countries with deeper pockets. What they would drop per night drinking would alone be enough for most of us on ISG to pay for a couple of girls on LT basis. This 'drives' the price up for non Japanese, thus the 'inferiority'.

At a friend's recommendation, I went to this place called "Relax Beauty"
It is located in the first sub soi of soi 33 on the right hand side.
It is at the deep end of the soi, infact the last shop to the right.
Had a nice chest and back waxing, pedicure, manicure all for 1000 Bahts!
Next time I am going to try their brazilian waxing, all for 500 bahts for men.
The ladies were very attentive,
Seems to be having an equal number of women and men customers,
Saw a few japanese men too.
Normal thai, oil massages and foot massages were also available.
Overall a very good relaxing 2 hours spent and pampered myself for all of 1000 Bahts.

I guess there has to be at least one weak link in the chain.

Take Thermae for example. Used to be a very fun place. Girls would be dancing by the jukebox, drinking, approaching customers, grabbing them, flirting, and generally having fun. It was a party atmosphere every night. Now, it is like a bad junior high dance with the guys on one side and the girls lined up on the wall. Very little interaction. The guys walk past them like they are checking out a piece of meat at the grocery store and many times don't say a word. So, the "fun" element has gone. That is the change that has turned me off.

Guess when all are allowed in all the "Japanese only" clubs we will stop complaining about the effect the Japanese have had on the fun and the market in BKK!
