Artful,
Citadines soi 11 offer a discount when they first open and start to raise the price ,I was there few month ago they are full and the price is much more than so I went across the st and got a standard room at the federal hotel for 1300 bht .
www.federalbangkok.com
Fast Eddie 48
I've stayed in both and all Citadines are basically the same, no bar in Soi 8 and it's right at the end of the Soi but they provide a free Tuk Tuk to Suk' Road. Nice and quiet.

Grand President
No one really cares anywhere they let girls in, but if you get a suite at GP (Tower 2 I think? The one on the right as you go in the driveway) there is only a security desk and a small lobby which is usually fairly deserted, no front desk, and the elevator entrance is out of sight around a corner. Just make sure that you ask for a room away from the Ambassador next door, because the birds there are really noisy in the mornings. Grand Sukhumvit's lobby is normally deserted later at night, staff don't bat an eyelid if they are at the desk. And it's really close to Nana. Grand Mercure (Soi 19) is also pretty deserted but you have to pass the desk (they don't care either), elevators are around a corner too.
PS Accor 3 day sale on again 7-9 March I think it is.

Been looking and still struggling to find the best hotel that doesn't have a walk of shame. Obviously have to be GF. Don't know why, find it weird walking past front desk with more than one woman. I have been twice before and I have stayed in Dream and Livingston.
Dream was ok but pricey. It had a walk of shame but not too bad as long as elevator was quick
Livingston was great when in building to right hand side of th efront door. Literally no walk of shame at al. In the main building I stayed also and that does have one. Not too bad but I did feel a bit strange having my breakfast the next morning. It wasnt the staff, it was me: 0)
Currently there are some great deals on Landmark but when I have walked past it looks like you have to go past the main desk. Is this true.
Anyone have good advise to save my stupid embarrassment?
Dynasty Inn Grande
Anyone visiting Bangkok during March may want to consider the Dynasty Inn Grande as they have a special promotion at the moment.
You pay the full internet rate for your first night and any further nights get a 20% discount.
The rate for a double deluxe room is 2280 baht which becomes 1824 baht after the discount.
Location is ideal for Nana Plaza and it is girl friendly.
http://www.dynastygrande.com/rate.html
There is a joiner fee if you want to take two girls to your room.

Reception is on the 1st floor so no walk of shame although there was usually a security gaurd down there. Hotel is exceptional as well.

Just ignore your embarassment :)
If you are embarrassed by the so called walk of shame al LL, then aren't you embarrassed to pick up a (working) girl in some place?
I am not saying LL is made specifically for the mongerer but it is definetely very monger friendly.
But in in a very classy way.
Just think to the fact LL or, better, Giotto has even his own thread here.

Popper8469,
You can stay at the Marriott and go in the side door which they seem to have provided for just this purpose.
Currently there are some great deals on Landmark but when I have walked past it looks like you have to go past the main desk. Is this true.
The Landmark has a big lobby so it may not be an issue, but the staff will open the doors for you to welcome your entourage back.
Anyone have good advise to save my stupid embarrassment?
Yes, I do. Walk proud with a big smile on your face. If you're up to it, wink at the lobby staff. :)
A more prosaic solution might be to stay at LeFenix Hotel. It has an outside ground floor elevator which bypasses the first floor lobby completely (although a security guard will still ask for ID cards).

Actually thinking getting ID cards checked is worse. Know its for our own safety but all i want ot do is get in and up.
Going to keep looking for a moment. The prices are not as cheap as they were.

Am I embarrassed? Not really, its just the next morning when I am trying to eat my eggs and the girl behind reception is laughing because I look like crap after a night with two thai nymphos.

Then, you should check the Honey Hotel located on Sukhumvit Soi 19.

Dont remember the price for it, but it was not the cheapest.

I agree, it seems that LL is what you need.

Bless Residence
Looks like they have a web site now but not really informative. Does not answer your query on whether Internet is included. I may have to walk over to it and give it a look see when I get there.
Web address is "http://www.blessresidence.com/"
This looks to be a quality new option in the Soi 33 area. It appears to be in the former car park next to the Office Bar.

If there are no outstanding offers at higher end hotels I wil probably stay here next visit.
If anyone has enough time to pop in (I can't find a web site) I'm curious whether internet is included.
