If I had to go (and I used to live at Agora Mall) the only way to go is the Metro. I think the reason people don't use it is because it doesn't go to Zona Colonial, but even then a Guagua or publico will take you to Duarte and I used to walk to El Conde from there.

But a week's trip to the capital. Your mileage may vary. It's probably best for you to head back to Sosua and be done with it.

Cali's also an option now that you know the city.

My water and AC issues got resolved today! Believe it or not, the repair guys actually showed up 10 minutes before scheduled time.

Before you get there it seems like everybody is always sitting around bored with nothing to do. Then when you get there everybody is all busy or sick or whatever and can not come.
