Well I've moved here to live at <Infinit-blu. Com 3wks ago after never being in the DR before but reading for 5 years all blogs ever written on this thread. Just surreal: So many 8's. 9's and 10's all day, all night. Pretty girls? Surprising to me Sosua blows Medillin and San Salvador away completely for quality. From all my reading I was still completely surprised by the quality of both faces and bodys. Just mind boggling. You'd only see some of these girls on like the Spanish "Romantica' channels. You could fill a Playboy magazine ten times over in just one day / night. And because these woman are exotic looking (different than we are used to) a DR 8 in the USA would be called a 9. The girls I've been with have all been very friendly, not robotic. I had one exception however. Girl came back to my room. Only wanted to give massage. After some non-heated arguing I figured best to pay her half. In general I've been paying $1, 500 for 8's and $2, 000 for 9's. Bored? I have not even scratched the surface of the potential here. Note; The people are extremely friendly to me and to each other. As one American here said."They are like brothers and sisters." He also added "It rubs off on us too." Nice.
Gary de Colorado
That's how it seems at first. I remember a few years ago I wondered why the hell every single guy in Florida wasn't jetting down to the DR whenever he had a few days off work, yet now I can walk around the place are am rarely even tempted.
I don't know how old you are, but I suspect that many of these chicas, if they know a bit about your personal circumstances, are auditioning for the role of novia.
[BLUE]IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered as the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters. [/BLUE]
And yes, practically all the Haitian girls carry blades / knives for self defense.
And they will tell you they do not carry those to defend themselves from mongers but from "crazy girls."
This may be true of the small group of hardcore haitianas who work the Strip in Sosua, but no more true than it is of their Dominican equivalents.
I have been with hundreds of non-pro or semi-pro haitianas from places other than central Sosua and I can only remember one who had a weapon. Of course I did not minutely search through all their belongings so I might have missed two or three more, but they would certainly be the rare exception.
As I keep posting when we hear these tales of scams and confrontations, why the hell do guys insist of mixing with those locals who are so obviously trash, when there are so many hot girls available all over the country? Some guys seem to have a death wish. Nowhere and no-one is totally safe, and we are right to keep our guard up, but you can immediately reduce your chances of problems by 90% by avoiding certain hotspots.
When did that happen? Any more details, including names?

No help pooter
Most guys do not have time or skill to pick up local girls. Sosua provides access for scores of pretty girls willing to suck your dick and fuck you for 40 dollars. I do not see the girls as trash. They live in a country where there is very little opportunity. Sosua is perfect for the average monger. Most of us do not have time to chase chicas. In Sosua girls come from all over the island to fuck us. I do not feel like playing games or pretending a girl is my love interest. Sosua is a good time 24/7. No place is perfect but Sosua works for me.

I too feel that it is the best in the Western Hemisphere and yes I've been to Rio (Albeit a bit too late 2011). I have no desire to go anywhere else other than Thailand and PI.

Gary de Colorado
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I very much enjoy Sosua, but as far as facial beauty, the vast majority of the guys on here would prefer the girls in Medellin. Of course, MDE doesn't have a beach and way too many of the chicas have fake asses and tits. Hard to compare the two places. Apples vs oranges.

I look at my early years and I was an adventurous fool. I thought the whole island was like Sosua, and in many ways it was. Picking up pussy on the side of the road for a quickie while driving to SD. Having girls put on their best clothes for the gringo visiting their friend in the bario. In the campo with no electricity fucking in the dark. In Santiago at a bbq where all the girls are light skinned and drop dead gorgeous. And all this with basic Spanish. Sex in the DR is very easy outside of Sosua.
I see guys with 20 trips to the DR and have never left Pedro Clisante and I respect that. Being content without exploring is just not my style.

I don't think so.
I was in Sosua at that time. And believe me, if two Haitianas were killed (one stabbed, the other with a broken neck) that would not have escaped my attention.
Now, there was a pretty ugly fight between two Haitianas that week that started at DLatin, and then, following a break-up, resumed again at Bar Central.
I did not witness it, but one of the fighting parties is a female acquaintance of mine.
I can assure you that rumors of bleeding to death and broken necks are vastly exaggerated. Jeezzz.
I do not see the girls as trash.
Sorry if I was unclear. I did not mean to imply that all the girls you find in Sosua are trash. My friends find many nice girls there, as did I when I used to visit there regularly.
What I meant was that it is usually very obvious which ones are trash (by their appearance and behaviour) and with whom you stand a much greater risk of poor performance or worse problems.
And you can improve your odds by mongering outside Sosua. I understand that guys don't want to waste their limited vacation time, but not even the horniest can fuck non-stop for 24 hours per day. An hour or two spent travelling to Montellano, Puerto Plata and other nearby spots for nominal amounts is a cheap way to have a more interesting vacation.

Potential scam?
While hanging at Rockys the other day, I witnessed a situation. The guys from Daniel Car rental brought one of their customers to Rocky to get the customer to pay them for a scooter he had rented from them. Apparentely he had made friends with some local dominican. Was letting this local hang with him. At some point he allowed the local to get close enough to trust to "borrow" the bike to allegedly go get some marijuana.
Once the local took off he hasnt been found again. Daniels car rental want $2800 to settle the matter. Hold on it gets worse. The dude was out one night and managed to have his wallet stolen. His credit card was in there. Apparently since that incident Rick and others have been lending him money. So the dude was flat broke, and in a mess over this scooter.
It gets worse. He gave the rental guys his passport when he got the rental. I have never gave up my passport over a car rental. I think that mistake is what makes me think the dude is getting scammed. Once he is squeezed for whatever cent they can get, I'll bet money the local and the bike will reappear as if nothing happened.
This is the 1st time seeing Rick in action trying to help the guy. The rental guys wanted to come into Rockys to make sure the guy didn't get out of sight. But Rick denied them entry into the restaurant where the guy was sitting. After a while the policia national came, and then Rick allowed the rentals in so all parties could discuss the matter.
The result was the police would get a document drafted so they can arrest the guy. Figuring the police were handling the matter, the rental guys left, and the guy got out of sight to avoid an arrest. Even the next day Rick was still advising this guy on some options he could take. One of them was seeking alternative travel documents or even turning himself in so the situation doesn't escalate if he is detained at whatever airport he chooses to leave from. I would think someone trying to exit the country without their original passport would draw a red flag and possibly an investigation?

I would never turn myself in, that will just get lawyers and judges involved, which means he will end up paying $28,000 instead of $2, 800!
I wonder why he didn't just go to the police station and say the bike was stolen. Make up a report, then go to the rental company with the report. I am sure there was insurance on the bike, he could have gotten his passport back and walked away.

It's obvious that guy has never been on ISG. If there are two things I have learned from this Sosua forum it is do not befriend local men and say no to drugs.
