Well, now that you mention cabdrivers I might remind you of the film Taxi Driver. ;-) Seriously, is it so strange that working girls wish to latch onto a local boyfriend? And, not being the daughters of Roman Abramovitch, they may wish to associate with men of somewhere near their own social class. I even suspect that low self esteem may play a role: women who have had serious setbacks in their lives and/or the love department often shop downmarket. Apparently they feel relieved from stress, and innoculated from blame and further disappointment, through the notion that "this is all I have deserved".

First of all I would like to congratulate all senior members here for sharing their experiences and tutoring newbies. Exactly a month ago I went to Bacardi wth a close friend. We picked 2 girls and paid 150$ for whole night in my house. It was also a Saturday night. I think you are right, its because of Ramadan but giving 300$ for whole night to a bacardi girl is also something I can never do.

As a former monger I am remembering and missing the days whole mongering (entry fee + girl (whole night)+hotel room) costs 70$ in Seranda, Ahu. Aksaray was full of EE girls and and decision was very difficult. Most of the times mongering was cheaper because girls was not looking only for money.

While I can't say I have enjoyed what Turkey has had to offer, I can say that my trip to Antalya was pleasurable. It is truely a place to visit. All I do have to say is that watch out for 'friends' who say they can take you to a place in their taxi. Or offering you 'ganja'. I was with a friend and while the offer was tempting (female-wise), I had to think back to that movie 'Midnight Express' where the american went to a turkish prison for drugs. DON'T THINK SO.

I will be leaving for the US seeing as my rotation here is complete. I fly out for Istanbul the 14th of Sept to catch my flight back to the states on the 15th.

WOW, USD$150 for 3 hours with a Ukrainian girl! That is a big price increase. Sounds like Moscow prices now in Turkey.

It may be worth flying to the Ukraine from Turkey for a big, dirty weekend at $30 a girl LOL. (Just kidding).

I posted a while back that I would be coming to Istanbul on an overnight stop this month (arr. afternoon the 27th depart evening 28th) and am still looking for advice as to a recommended hotel that is both easy to get to from the airport and is close to the action (which I still need directions to...Irmak sounds like the place to go?)

Or if anyone knows a decent hotel that has "in house" service, even better.
