I have recently started traveling to Bangkok on business, I often find it difficult to slip away from work colleagues or commitments to visit Soi CB or Nana, also bringing a girl back to my hotel could be embarrassing if I bump into anyone I work with. " Thais believe getting caught in heavy rains you will come down with some virus. I did not believe them when swimming in the Hotel pool. Sure enough I was very sick next day and for a while. Maybe coincidence. Maybe not. Bangkok rain may not be very clean.
