Baccara Cowboy has many detractors who find fault with the majority Asian clientele, the look of the girls, ect. I like the place. They have a ton of girls packed to the gills on 3 floors and I always find attractive / friendly girls to fool around with. By my casual calculation 10% to 15% of Baccara girls are pretty good looking and that is a lot of eligible girls. I don't care about the remaining 85%. They are for some one else. I have been frequenting this bar for a long time. I have never had a problem with the Asian customers or Asian-centric girls at this place. In fact I have never felt discriminated against here by anyone. Quite the contrary, I have had friendly relations with many of the girls that work here including the waitresses and they know me on a first name basis. In addition I have had an ongoing sexual relationship with my favorite Baccara girl since 2010. She recently retired from the business. We still keep in touch. I can't wait to see her again in September. So for all these reasons, I consider Baccara Cowboy a must go to bar. It is a personal favorite.

Agree with you re: CH in BKK. I mistakenly thought you were talking about Pattaya's CH.

No favorites at the moment, am trying out smaller bars / soi's and spending more time on Soi 6, Buakhao, Diana, etc. Getting kinda tired of the pushiness in Pattaya Gogo's, although that won't stop me from going from time to time.

Sometimes a regular comes in and buys a drink and then your girl will ask you if she can leave for a while, you have two options say NO or ask the girl to return the ticket for your drinks, which you have been buying her for her time.

You could also talk to the mamasan and pay the bar fine early in the evening for pick up post 12 and in that case the girl will only hustle other customers for drinks but she would have been bar fined by you already. I have seen some regulars do this, haven't done it myself and am therefore not sure if mamasan will insist on pre midnight bar fine.

My last visit to Pattaya, Soi 6 which used to be my favourite place to spend time, had taken a turn for the worse (from my viewpoint). I don't know if others agree on this. But the trend towards open bars rather than the dark closed bars where all kinds of hanky panky could happen, made me spend very little time there.

Is this still a trend or are bars (hopefully) moving back towards the older style closed bars?

I'm planning to make a visit again and wondering it's going to be worth it.

The other night me and Chris Long went to the Walking Street gogo where my girlfriend works and my GF told him a ST and a LT bar fine (correct me if I am wrong CL.) I am not sure how much each one was. He ended up taking the ST option which I think was for 1 hour. The rest he had to negotiate with the girl.

Before we went there, I think it was the same scenario at an LK Metro gogo. Since I don't barfine I was not paying too close attention.

Not that I bar fine much, but its good to have that option, differential bar fines again result in pricing one out of the market for those who prefer LT.

The incidence of sexual assault, often from family members, is so frequent that it's frightening. I didn't believe this until I went to India. Their attitude towards woman in India is so poor that they naturally bring those to Pattaya.

I should also point out that Indians feel they are superior to Thais and will spend half a day explaining why this is so. India is a very backward looking, hierarchical country. A lot of Thai culture and language comes from India when Asoka did his religious crusade. It is therefore natural for an Indian to look down on Thais as their intellectual and spiritual inferior. The fact that Thailand wasn't colonised by the British and English is not spoken doesn't add to its status. Now add in prostitutes and you can see this is not going to end well. As far as the Indian tourist is concerned, the prostitute deserves to be gang banged as that is her role in life; to service her superior in any way he sees fit.

The only Asian race Indians feel are their intellectual equal are Japanese.
