General Reports

After months of fevered anticipation, planning, and lots of visits to this site, I finally arrived in HK on Wednesday night.

After all your good advice – some of which, as you will see, I have not learned from – I thought I owe it to you all to give you reports of my progress.

Got to my hotel in Wanchai at midnight Wednesday. Quick refresh and out to see some of the bars I’ve read about. Started in Neptune and within 5 minutes a lovely Thai girl had attached herself to me. A rather stilted conversation followed in which we both knew what might be going to happen. Eventually she offered to massage my weary body, and asked whether I had any condoms. (Do bears live in woods?? ) Apparently in HK you need condoms for massage!

Money was not a question, but I was concerned about the reaction of my hotel. She did not see this as a problem and we walked in without a murmur from the staff. I had expected great things of Hong Kong but to be on a bed with a gorgeous and willing girl within an hour of my arrival in Wanchai was beyond my wildest dreams. I shall spare you the details except to say that it was a wonderful night. She did everything including singing Thai folk-songs as she massaged and showered. But while she performed everything that I could ask for, she was at the same time discreet and demure. Lovely!

Thursday opened with a wonderful bout before she left. I did give her a 'donation' as thanks and then I learned that the girls were being careful as a number had been trapped by police and taken to prison. Hence no discussion of money at the bar.

Despite a wonderful night I knew I had to make the most of my HK trip and wanted to explore other avenues on Thursday. Having regained my 'strength' I thought an experience of 141 would be a good start. Fuji was nearest and I set off enthusiastically. I found the building quickly and, bold as brass, marched through the doorway. I had only got my feet on the third step when I looked up and saw three policemen on the landing at the top of the stairs. I was down and across the road in record time. A wasted journey.

But it gave me the opportunity to try a Hotel Reservation girl. I chose Ceci in TST. Went over there to watch the Ceremony of Lights (got to do some tourist things amid all the mongering) and then phoned her papasan. Good English, poor directions. I did eventually arrive at the hotel and got her room number quickly. The door opened to reveal a pretty little girl who was certainly not Ceci. She was not as tall as Ceci; she had at best 35Bs and not Ceci's advertised 36C's; she did not speak English as Ceci does; and, the definitive proof, she did not know her name. I did feel I was being taken for a ride but I wanted a ride – so I stayed.

I would tend to think that the gals get charged with both soliciting and breach of condition of stay; first, they get arrested on solicitation. Second, they get charged with breach of condition of stay. Double whammy when they get to court. Sentencing would also reflect two crimes instead of one.

Pinkerton, the 141 game is known for "bait and switch". During last trip to HK. I ordered two girls to my hotel, the first one looked quite similar to one I ordered and I kept her. With the second one I had my laptop on and then I showed her the pictures of the girl I ordered - the one that came did NOT look at all like what I wanted. I sent her packing. I guess when you order the girl, you tell the papasan that you know the game and not to waste his and your time if he is going to send another girl.

Does this mean that the girl speaks English???

Thanks.[/QUOTE]If a girl's profile states she speaks Mandarin, she's definitely from mainland China and possibly from a rural area. Either way, knowledge of English is highly unlikely. From my experience, girls at 37 Dundas are from Hong Kong. Therefore, they do speak English.

English of the girls is a luck thing. I found a lot of the Mix ones actually are quite OK (as many of them are not Mix but Phillipina).
The others can be they only speak like "hallo, money, fu**, bye"

My first post... OK arrived in HK Saturday and got settled in around 12:30 am. So no hunting except a late meal of wonton noodles across the street from my hotel. I am staying in the Mong kok area of Hong Kong.

Next day, walked around the shopping area nearby, down and around Nathan St, and ate at a couple places. Excellent dim sum, sorry didn't get the name of the restaurant. After about 4 hrs of that, tried a massage place that I knew was legit. Price on the sign was 138hk for 50 mins. Seem reasonable enough to relieve some ache muscles. When all was done, I was charged $316 for two massages, a friend and I. Then dropped $40 for tip. Not knowing that we were getting ripped. I dont speak, so I relied on my buddy, who does. He was told there a service charge. I figure a gwi lo charge. Anyways, I would never go back there. It is accross from the Metro Park Hotel Mong Kok.

This is where it gets special. My local friend arrived back from GD. He was doing his thing mainland and said he would take us around Sunday night. So after meeting him for dinner and walking a bit, we hoped in a cab to Sunshine Islands Suana on Hanoi St in the TST district. The sauna is on the 5th floor. After taking a shower, we lounged with some juice in the tv lounge. Then we were asked for what type of girl was preferred. We asked for young, what else. Then we relaxed, finsihed our juice and headed to our seperate rooms. When I got in, the light was dim but I could see the boobs poping from my maseuse's top. Skinny and very pleasant voice. I guess the staff knew I didnt speak chinese, so they chose one that spoke english. I was really happy and laid down to enjoy the massage. She was excellent with her hands. After about an hour, she asked if I wanted full service and I said yes. She started massaging the right areas and I was ready in a heart beat. I do know that HK police prosecute for breaking condition of stay but the police hunt them because of their prostituition activities. If you read the HK newspapaer, it is always referred to as a "sweep of yellow" which is a literal translation for cleaning of prostituition activities. A lot of foreign countries also clean up prostituition by using other charges. Most places in North America, for example, use solicitation, living off the avails and brothel found-ins as charges since prostituition is also not illegal everywhere.

My point was HK police was no different from anywhere else. prostituition gives a bad image for the government and will be a target, be it propaganda or not.

Heightened police presence in Wan Chai and in areas where there are one-woman brothels (e.g. 141 type flats) is simply explained: there were four murders of prostitutes (all Chinese and all located in one-woman brothels) about 10 days ago. A serial killer suspect has been arrested for three of the murders. See report in 'The Standard' (HK English language daily - good website):

and the ex-boyfriend of the other victim has also now been arrested. Police have been checking all one-woman brothels/flats to ensure their safety - although there have been accusations that this is actually harrassment.

Police presence is also much higher during Rugby 7's weekend - with justification. It's alcoholic and silly. Not the best time to be making a visit - unless you also like the rugby and silliness.
