Very nice daytime value: Plaza Noli
It's been mentioned before, but just adding my experience.
Plaza Noli is a mini-mall at the intersection of calles Palo Hincado and Arzobizpo Nouel, a block south of the cafe Casa Paco's, in the touristy Zona Colonial.
Others mentioned the barbershop, just north of the corner. That's not where I entered. Instead I entered the mini-mall at the very corner of the block. Thirty meters inside sat two women in their mid-20's, nice smiles, one slim (flaca) and one a bit rounder, but not at all fat. The slim one offered to show me the massage bed just inside the door. Inside, she told me that for 1000 pesos (today 17 usd), you get a 30 min massage with an HJ happy ending. For a total of 2000 you get massage plus regular sex, which I chose.
She had a very nice attitude. We started with a shower with lots of touching. Then an oil massage until she got on top of me, nice and slippery. She kept putting my hand on her boobs. Once I was inside, she acted convincingly as if she liked it (possibly she did like it), and even put my hand on her throat to do the choking thing that all the kids are into these days. Kinda hot, actually.
Overall really nice. A plus would be a bigger bed and French kissing, which she didn't want.
Casa de Campo = private resort
Apples and oranges. Casa de Campo is a resort. I was going to my friend's wedding out that way a few years back. They were having the wedding dinner the day before. I drove up to the resort and dude was like nope, unless you pay $80 per person you can not come in this gate. Guests were only allowed the day of the wedding. And I think Casa de Campo os the most upscale place in the country. So of course they are not going to allow hookers to run all around the place.
Yep exactly, Casa de Campo is a private gated resort. There is a bareer at the entrance, and people in the car are checked by the guard. Car must show a pass to get in, otherwise you need to proceed to the reception, where you need to show a accomadtion reservation (or an event invitation, as MrE said). Lots of airbnb to get inside. But you need a reservation to get in. You can't just pay for one day and then stroll around.
Casa de Campo runs exactly the same way than 'Punta Cana Resort' gated area. This resort group owns all the area between the Punta Cana village, Playa Blanca till Cap Cana marina, including the Cana and Corales villas and golf, Tortuga Bay hotel (a must, if you have deep pockets), Westin Inn, playa blanca, and even owns the Punta Cana airport, which is the biggest international private airport of the world. Only difference is that you can buy there a one day pass to stroll around, and have lunch and beach afternoon with your sweetie at playa blanca.
Conclusion: Go there only acompanied (and I should say with a 9 or 10, well dressed and mannered.). For sure both worth it, as you'll stay in one of the most beautiful environment. It has a price though.

I guess the idea is to forget that one is on an island with an average GDP per capita of $11,000 (compared to nearly $80 K in the USA). Hispaniola is a strange island; on one corner there is a pocket of super wealth that rivals (if not exceeds) the wealthiest countries in the world, and to the west there is Haiti, with an average GDP of $1185.
The question is, why would I bother to come to the DR to monger when expensive women are available in the USA, as are beautiful expensive resorts. And the weather is nearly identical.
