Where can I watch my New England patriots game each Sunday starting in September? I remember even in Colombia a Hooters bar had the 'NFL ticket' for all the games. Thanks, Its important
Rumba bar has all the football games, winners sports bar and Dlatins also. A lot of little bars and resturants also have nfl games on. Super bowl is the bussiest time of year for Sosua.

Jose O'Shea's in Cabarette has something like 7 tv's what seems like every game on the NFL. Only thing about O'Shea's is that everything is pricey.
i mentioned before that seeing putas is a dr tradition. the international attention has been on the dr for foreigners traveling for sex . the use of **** girls is rare for foreigners. the human trafficing is also not an issues with sex vacationers. dr women are imported all over the world to work as putas. the goverment has to be seen as hostile to mongers. so far it is business as usual and i doubt it can change much.
how much do dominican men pay to lay with the chica's?
i had 1 local tell me he would take me to a place where for the bed and the chica it would be 800. can we find some decent chic's at some of these place's where the dominican men go or are they sosua rejects?

Sosua news says that after August 2nd the police will arrest anyone having a loud muffler or loud music.
For those that have been here they know how loud this shit really is.

Saw this picture posted on a website and you can guess what the description said. Anyway, Sosua is not what it once was on many levels. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

"Dominicans in general dress much better than Americans. They take great pride in what clothes they have. Lightweight button down short sleeved shirts and long pant are pretty standard for men and women typically wear dresses, jeans or form-fitting pants. Shoes are probably the most important part of their wardrobe. Men do not typically wear sneakers although sandals are starting to come more into style. Dress leather shoes are preferred. Men will have their shoes shined at least once a week or more by street children or at home. Children wear school uniforms during the week with sneakers and jeans and t-shirts with sandals on the weekend."

If they get rid of those fuckers once and for all I would cheerfully accept the purging of putas and closing of bars and brothels in exchange as a good deal.
Is Passions opened again or operating (DBA) under a different name or location?
Thanks fellows, I appreciate your input / the inside "skinny".
Went past yesterday. The doors were closed but no longer shuttered and the cerrado notice had gone. Looks like something might happen soon.

Sosua is not the DR
In SD I rarely wear shorts. I make an effort to blend in. Sosua is a different animal. It is a vacation resort that is dominated by foreigners. Everything in Sosua is geared toward the guests. SD is the real DR. I try to dress in away that allows me to not standout. The dress style of young monger especially black young men is different. It is wrong to judge people based on how they are dressed. DR men are very fashion conscious. They go to the barber at least once a week. Some of the younger guys are dressing with the hip hop influence.

Especially the mobile announcement trucks. Unfortunately this only applies to vehicles, so will not affect Sosua bars, I don't think.

I don't know exactly how Dominicans feel about visitors who dress like extras from Pirates of the Caribbean, but I suspect it is not all positive.

Visiting Sosua
Prepare to be amazed!
1. I have been routed thru STI only once and was lucky to meet a couple of fellow-monger with whom I shared a taxi, and good times, to Sosua. We all felt perfectly safe, although it was a bit earlier than your flight, and saved moola by splitting the rather steep cost of around USD 100. I will leave it to the folk more experienced with STI to suggest alternatives.
2. I'm a huge fan of New Garden which ranges from $55 to $ 85. It's within close walking distance to the action, usually has an awesome monger community who will provide great intel for you (typically during the free breakfast) , has chicas on the premises (not usually a spectacular group though!) , nice pool, and best of all, the best Italian restaurant in Sosua, IMHO.
Have a blast!
Hi guys,
Looking to get into Sosua this weekend, finally found a nice 3 day weekend stretch to make the trip down. My first time in DR and looking forward to it! Couple questions, and I have an answer for one of them but looking at other options too.
1. My flight arrives at 1 AM on Saturday (early morning, late Friday) and I am unfortunately flying into STI as DL has no flights to POP. Is it safe to take a cab from STI to Sosua? I know it is an hour and half drive but I'm not sure if I want to stay overnight in STI or wait a few hours for the bus. I would rather just take a cab and get to my intended destination. Any recommended cab drivers that are dependable? Advice is greatly appreciated...
Sosua Info
I'm going down to Sosua in September and I wondering about two thinks and hoping you guys can help!
The first is, after the closing of Passions as there been a price change for the TLN for the street chicas?
I remember reading that the price was around 2000 to 2500 for TLN is it still that?
The second is, does anybody know how much to pay a chica for a girlfriend experience for a duration of 2 weeks?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see the problem
In my trips there I've never seen any locals take issue with basket ball jerseys or pants
