Unfortunately, like oil, Moscow girls don't seem to be cheap the way they used to be. At current rates, the dollar is about 2, 300 roubles and the least expensive brothel that I visit regularly (Moskvichki at 7 Tatarskaya, 5 minutes from Paveletskaya, 772-7377) is 3, 000. If you go to a club called Park Avenue Disco, 10 minutes on foot from Taganskaya Metro, there are working girls. Two years ago I was offered sex for 1, 000 roubles and got a BJ for 500. Unfortunately it's sort of a studenty place and the guys can look thuggish. My 1/2 Korean British friend was turned down there, probably because he looks Kazakh. I agree, time to get out of Moscow completely. I've ofter wondered about the possibilities in Yaroslavl. Tell us more. I assume you catch the poezd at Yaroslavskii vokzal? Is there frequent train service? Can you make the trip in a day, or is it necessary to stay overnight? Once you get there, how do you connect with the dyeffki; salons, apartments, clubs?

Besides that, a change of scenery is nice. Russia is Russia, but every city I have been to has a different character. Girls are more or less the same with some ethnic variations depending on where you are, but they are still fantastic.

Back in the States now so I had better write something up about Moscow before the “old melon” forgets everything. This was the last stop on a three city tour of Russia after Saint Petersburg and Ufa.

I arranged for an apartment with Moscow-Star and waited for one of the usual drivers to come and pick me up from Vnukovo. It ended up being Oleg with the broken down Volga and we spent the next two hours crawling our way up Leninky Prospect during rush hour to the apartment on Tverskaya Ulitsa. So much for beating the traffic.

It was late so I dropped my bags at the apartment and headed over to TGI Friday’s to meet an old friend for a few pints. It was Tuesday night so nothing too exciting and we wrapped things up by 11:00 PM. I wandered back to the flat to get unpacked and by midnight I had the itch for some entertainment. I decided it was a little too late to call any of the girls I had met on Mamba so I grabbed a gypsy cab down to Hot Dog (formerly Boar House – formerly Chesterfield’s) to see what all of the fuss was about. I suppose the word to use to describe my impression is “underwhelmed”. Yeah sure, the toilets are new (albeit already broken) and they cleaned the place up a little but other than that, same old crowd.
