Another thought on why so many angry guys here. I get the feeling most of you brought up socialists-you have no idea how markets work. AND NO THE CUSTOMERS DO NOT DRIVE PRICES alone- supply also plays a part.
Socialist are just angry people-they will never be happy. Free market people work to their best ability and have fun. If they think los is too expensive they go to Burma. LOL.
Really? Now, are those are the free market bankers that ruined the world economy? Sorry it is trickle up not trickle down. We know supply side does not work, we are living through the aftermath of it now. So, yes, the consumer is the market, always has been and always will be. Same is true here in BKK. If punters would pay 1k baht, that would be the market, but of course ego gets in the way and a male will pay pay pay.
But, I live here, so I can happily wait till low season and get for a song what folks will pay dearly for during high season.

If guys are willing to pay 2-3k ST then that's what girls will ask. Apparently there is no shortage of punters in BKK and Pattaya willing to pay prices like that today. Things have changed!

If all the sideliners at Tarawadee (or rather Tarawadee itself) was charging 500 Baht a round (instead of 3700 to 8500 a round) , then it would be as packed as a Tesco Lotus all of the time. The market is what it is. Yes, customers do have a say in pricing, but they (nor suppliers) have 'control' over the market. For one, customers aren't some unified amoeba. They all have their self interests and requirements. I think a driver license and car registration tags in Bangkok should cost X thousand USD per year (better for the environment too) , but I doubt most of the local (and many tourists and expats) population would like that very much. It'd be smooth driving getting around town though.
Does anyone know where I can purchase an Asian Flight Attendant uniform (preferably the one with the little hat) In or around Bangkok? Maybe a costume store?
In Patpong across from the Beer Garden there is a shop that sells all types of these uniforms.

Many are over priced. I decided it was just not worth the trip out there any more.
There are many ways to improve the traffic situation. One would be to long ago limit the total number of taxi licenses. There are at least twice as many taxis as what is needed in Bangkok. Taxis are a very major contributor to traffic jams. I often look down the line of a traffic jam to see at least 30% of vehicles are taxis.
I don't plan to research your posts but I would not call that a report. Just rambling about what you saw on a tour of some bars where you did not spend any money LOL. Let's here a report about a girl you bar fined recently. One in the last 30 days though, not ten years back.
Actually, the post was a reasonable summary of the lack of action going on in the area. He can't post about his mongering as he is not anonymous and GF might check his posts too. People need some privacy which is why I don't have a PM facility. You should not worry so much about what others are posting, and just keep providing yourself. If others post a load of rubbish, they will get well known for it.

The infrastructure of this town is ill equipped to handle the volume of cars that are currently here. Easy cheap credit is an issue as is the want of every person making a decent salary to gain face by owning a car. The public tranny is already stressed. The platforms and trains are not adequate to handle the increasing number of commuters in BKK. I see no palatable solution to the issue. Perhaps a ERP zones like Sing has would discourage some drivers, but I fear far too few. With Thailand being a hub of auto production in Asia, the gov will not do anything to raise the ire of these companies, so we will be faced with a deteriorating situation as time goes on. The impact on productivity will be huge.

Would you appreciate it if you're in a fine restaurant and you're sitting next to belligerent neanderthals? If I want cheap, I'll head to McDonalds or burger King. There's nothing wrong with it, it is what it is. There will always be a premium on the finer things in life, whether it's cars, wine, real estate, or women.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not naive in thinking these girls are untouched, but I won't be paying a premium if she lacks class and allows mouth breathers and unclean people to sex her up.
