Ass soon as someone finds out I am from NYC, they are super excited to show me their! I can't tell you how many guys want to invite me to their favela so I can see how dangerous it is, I always politely decline. I grew up in the hood, why the hell would I travel thousands of miles just to hang in the hood in another country? Thanks but no thanks!

Just thought I would state my 2 cents on a debate that has taken place here. I have been to both Rio and SP and had a great time in both. Rio has the added advantage of a beach where you can ogle the best scantily clad female bodies on the planet. If that is not your thing then you can visit SP where the mongering, though more expensive, is just as good as far as I am concerned. However, that is just my taste. Mongers wishing to visit just one of these destinations should research extensively before making a decision.

The Praia Lido Hotel used to be a favourite and was in the perfect location but I believe it has closed.

Is the Princess Promenade Copacabana still girl friendly? It was 8 years ago.

Any given day on Nossa Senhora I see 10-15 stunners. Just jaw-dropping normal girls. All over Rio they're to be found. Price wise it would come down if you hit cheaper spots and less gringofied daytime spots but it is a long trip I agree, however the city of RJ is my favourite out of all of them.

I don't know if the price really changed from 360 to 370. On the Brazilian forum many members have been paying 370 reais for one hour session for few weeks unless they don't see a difference, it is gorgeta or entrance fee included in the price but I don't believe it. They don't tell why they pay that much. They are not tired of raising the price. It is time to drop the price in times of crisis. If they want more clients.

The price has also changed in Mosaic it is more expensive, I think one hour is 240 reais instead of 200 reais.

In a dispute in a terma they will try and encourage your to come back and offer free entry etc etc. You get the idea.

I only know 2 spots that dropped prices.

1 lower tier terma and one super boate.

Also privees tend to drop the price to 130 for 1 hour during slow parts of the week but these are exceptions to the rule.
