... but if there is any word that you MUST know then it is "pai nai". It means "where are you going?" This is one of the first words she taught me. She said when you see a girl walking just say "pai nai." And I will be damn if she wasn't right. When the girl answers start your own game or either do like they do sometimes and say, "I go with you." 10 years later I still have the paper with her number and that I took notes on.
First, that's assuming you can pronounce it correctly, with the right tones. Otherwise they don't understand what the heck you said. Once I learned how to pronounce it correctly, I ran into the other more difficult problem. They assume you speak Thai and respond to you in Thai. My Thai is not that good and I am always lost when they do that.
I found it easier to simply talk to them in English, or use their English version of "pai nai? Which is "where you go?

Use that initial contact to grab and pique their attention by saying it in Thai. As I followed up with, you can use your own game after that. They will understand you not continuing to speak in Thai. And pai nai is probably one of the easiest things to pronounce. I have never had anyone not understand me saying that. The original poster said the girl practically ignored him. I am just trying to give him another angle of attack that I have found works for me.

Soi 6
I am not a frequent Soi 6 customer exactly for the reasons you state, quality is scarce, but I too have found a small number of cute gals over the years. My MO is to slowly walk the Soi back and forth for 30 minutes or so around dusk and if I do not see any worthwhile girls I move on to Go Go Land. I have found nice girls at Ruby Club, Red Point, Pussy Club and O BAR.
Another MO is to become more immersed into the Soi 6 scene, to hang out there and get to know some of the bar owners and girls better, but not being a drinker except on those occasions when its Tequila time with a hot girl, I wouldn't know about that. It's not my style to hang out in bars socializing. Now if they were serving quality reefer in them bars, I would hang out on the 6 all day long. 555. And meet some very interesting characters.
Have been to Soi 6 twice. Last time was 3 years ago. There were lots of girls, so there will always be a few good looking ones. My problem is that it's just quickies. I like to spend some time with the girl. Also, the rooms there were not too nice. Not really a good atmosphere there. But if you like quickies, this is the place, since there are so many girls.

Most of the girls there, of course, are pretty homely though.
I do believe, however, that if you find a girl you like and hit it off with there, you can bar fine her for an entire day / night. Take her out and then take her to your hotel. If you had a good time at her place at work, it should be even better after you spent the day with her and buy her a few things. The price for this, with possibly a near-GFE at the end, could be about the same as ST with a WS top 10 hottie.
Not sure, and I won't have enough time to try it next month, but maybe on my 3rd visit!

It's a bit longer, but same easy pronounced. And because you asking in a polite Thai, she will most likely be pushed to response in a same nice manner. The common rules in Thailand are simply like that. And usually you grab with it immediately a smile of her.
In banks they ask for your passport or ID, but you shouldn't go there at all because their rates are not good.
The best money exchange I found is at the Southwest corner of Sukhumvit and Asoke, not even 50 m from the Skytrain exit. Today I exchanged into Baht at 39.7 baht / which is quite good. At the airport (airside) it was 37.5 baht /.
Best exchange since years are always Super Rich for bank notes. There are several direct at BTS Stations, example Asoke or On Nut.
http://www.superrich1965.com/
You get better exchange rates if you have a local Thai bank account and wire your money in. SCB is one of the best business banks here with enough sense for "normal" customers. Wire's are almost instantly accounted, when on Bangkok Bank or Kasikorn several days are used. Plus the exchange rates at SCB are always in the Top 5 as well.
I thought the reason they want the passport and not a photocopy is because there is no insurance against theft or damage and they want to make sure you pay up.
I hate to surrender my passport, but never had a choice, not even in my hotel.
They sealed it in an envelope and put it in a safe, but they still were in possession of my passport.
Yes, that's the way how they handle this things. Rules changed a few years ago, after many was burned with customers runned away.
I hate it, but manage sometimes to give my Thai driver license instead of the passport.

She offer me massage + sex for 1. 000 b all in (200 b for massage and 800 b for lady).
Go inside and she asked me if I want take shower but not need because did 5 min before in my room.
Classic small massage shop with a small mattress behind the curtains.
Not need to massage so went directly to the action.
Name: kan (or similar).
Age: 28 ?
Language: thai and english.
Face 3/5.
Body 3. 5/5.
BBBJ: 4/5.
Sex: 2/5.
GFE 1/5.
PSE good only in the BBBJ.
Cost: 200+800=1. 000 baht.
She started with a very good BBBJ, ball licking and deepthorat her skills was so good and I enoy it.
Fingering her pussy, condom on and start to ride me cowgirl, during the sex she seems to much bored and cold, this make me lose my feeling and part of my erection. So condom off and back on BBBJ till I cum, but after the first shot go inside her mouth she move her head and don't take all my sperm. Disappointment!
Quick shower, dressed on, pay.
Kiss kiss bye bye.

Yep! Cash, cards and passport. Keep them secure always.
Everything is easily replaceable.
In my country it is illegal to give possession of your passport to any other person (other than legal inspections of course).
Also re the International drivers license it has to have the motorbike endorsement on it otherwise some police won't accept it, they got me with the b400 on the spot fine.
However you can have one made in about an hour, with all your details on it, for less than b1000 on Khaosan Rd Bangkok.
Just walk around and look in a few doorways.
Numerous people have said they only need a copy of your passport. I have rented bikes many times and only used a copy of my passport. Same for hotel rooms. If you insist on doing things your way and giving total strangers the most important thing you have while overseas, then continue. Hope you never need it in a hurry.
My motto is money, credit cards and passport. Everything else is expendable.
Passion Jomtien
Yesterday I drove my motorbike around Jomtien and I decided to check Passion Club, a new (open not long ago) afternoon club. Drive from Pattaya to Jomtien on Thappraya Road, at the traffic light turn left (pic 1), go straight ahead (pic 2) then when you see signboard (pic 3) turn right and you will see the club on te right side (pic 4).
The Club have a small garden with a swimming pool but obviously no one join in (pity). Inside the lounge is not big but very nice, well air conditioned with a great soundtrack: Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Beach Boys, Abba, Queen, ecc. Have many TV around that show videomusic or live concert.
I don't count how many ladies was in but I think 15 maybe some more, some of them wear a very short skirt that show their ass but unfortunately the average quality was not so good and the medium age was over 30.
Soft drink 60 b, room I think 3/400, and girls asked for 1. 500 b that is not a good deal when you have a place like Kinnaree with more young and nice girls ask for 1. 000 b st + room.
During they week the have a special day like bikini party or lingerie party. Yesterday they have a bbq buffet with a big skewers (beef, pork and chicken) and potato salad. I wasnt hungry so I don't ask the cost for the buffet or if you have a minimum number of drink to order for join the buffet.
At the end I don't take any girls, sipping my drink, look around, girls wasnt pushy to ask drink but I don't found any girl for my taste.

This mirrors my experience on the same street. Well except I didn't get the BBBJ, ball licking, deepthroat, pussy fingering, or partial CIM that you got. I was never given a price either, but it was the only time that I have given 1000 for ST. And I only did that because the owner of the place was a friend of another board member who took me there and I just wanted him to look good. My girl was 20 years old and it seemed that she had never given a massage a day in her life and that mine was the first dick she had ever come into contact with. Lesson learned.

A real motorbike license in Thailand is 200 baht. Before I had one of those I was never asked for an international permit. My normal license with motorcycle endorsement from back home was always fine. 15 years ago before traveling to France I got the international deal from AAA that is valid for 1 year for about $15. Needless to say, I haven't wasted $15 for that ever since.

Only downside is those girls on Soi 6 probably have a lot of mileage on them. The good looking ones probably are with lots of guys daily.
