After a very busy January the road is extermely quiet since 4 days.

Not many customers in restaurant and sports lounge. Funny, this is the main season...

just get over here - you don't need to stay in the hotel if you only want to visit the sports lounge...very much appreciated.

i am not in tomorrow and wednesday - a short trip to cambodia...

no short time discounts, we don't want livingstone's to be a short time hotel. but close to us there is peep inn, the favorite place from mr. vice president and piper - there you can find short time rooms for reasonable prices.

i of course cannot help the ladies with their needs. rule no. 1: never fuck the payroll. so i really need you to "help" the ladies :) !!!

Was at Livingstones for quite literally a flying visit on Saturday night.

Arrived at Livingstones around 7.30pm, the place hasn't changed, but seems quite a lot of building work going on (someone must be doing pretty well for himself!!)

I was a bit apphensive about the evening because I had no sleep on my plane journey and had a bit of a cold (but reader, do please read on, as things did improve).

Checked in, said hello to the owner and his able assistant, etc and waited for my fellow mongerer friend. He was bummed that I had a bath tub in my room and he had just a shower in his. I wasn't too fuseed, so we shifted rooms. We headed down to the bar for a few drinks. Seems some of the girls were new (and some I had seen from my last stay).

We then ended up down Soi Cowboy. Checked out a few places there (FYI top floor of Barracuda well worth a visit, just for looking though). Had some fun with some girls in another bar (can't remember the name).

We then went back to Soi 33 and went into a bar pretty much opposite Livingstone (cannot remember the name though, had been drinking a little bit and had not eaten, because after all eating is cheating) and had quite a lot of fun with a couple of girls (one was quite happy for my finger to visit her alan).

I arrived on Saturday for my first experience in Bangkok as well as Giotto's lodge. So far I have been impressed and it has been very much as advertised. At first glance it was weird seeing all the tall buildings surrounding the lodge, but then I realized it really is an oasis amongst the chaos outside. The restaurant menu is very extensive and I have been very happy with the food. The breakfast is great and I love that I can have it at any time. The room very much matches the pics on the website and are very comfortable.

I am still getting over jet lag from my day and a half trip and have only sampled the sports bar one time. Being a rookie, I probaby made a few mistakes. I entered and was almost immediately approached by a cute little girl. She was very smiley and fun and I had a good time. After a game of pool, through somewhat broken english she asked if I'd barfine her and take her upstairs. I decided what the hell and payed up and we went to the room. Being tired from jet lag and somewhat dehydrated made it a bit more of a chore than it should have been to enjoy myself, probably should have waited at least a day before partaking, but the little head as usual took over. The next morning she was still friendly and seemed to want to spend some time with me sight seeing. I probably should have politely declined as this seemed to be her way of guaranteeing repeat business. I can understand the reasoning, but would prefer not to be "owned" by any one of the girls in the sports bar as variety is the spice of life. I was not upset with her performance or her attitude, I was a bit annoyed with her unwillingness for a second shot in the morning. I kind of felt after having shared my bed and paying a little more than average (3000 baht) more was in order, but perhaps that is normal. As I said, I am a rookie and lessons learned.

3000 baht is normal price for LT on Soi 33, all the girls ask for it, but you can always try to negotiate lower. LT means 2 shots. I know it's hard to enforce it if she seems "unwilling", so it is up to you to wake up her hormones, brudder. I was just imagining whoever stays there, bringing their girls in for a nice dinner in that atmosphere by the pool, and then heading upwards to their rooms, then in the jacuzzi, and onto bed for nightly activities. Very nice.

I headed over to the bar. There were about 10 girls dressed in white, with high heels. Very elegant, typical Soi 33 style. Mamasan sent a young lass to talk to me. Wasn't very good looking, but friendly enough and I offered her a drink. I had no intention of barfining since the 3 barfines I have done in Soi 33 on previous trips only ended in aggravation. But she started leaning towards that area, kept touching me all over my body, telling me how happy she would make me, and after a couple of drinks, I was thinking, why not? Maybe this will turn out better than the last 3.

So we started negotiations. She said, " I want one, two, three, four thousand bhat" and she repeated the four thousand bhat. Additionally, I kept asking about Giotto and where he was, after hearing so much about the place, but nobody understood the words "boss or Giotto". Maybe I will have the pleasure of meeting him some other time.

It's P4P... She's NOT your girlfriend. You purchase a Service and since you pay, she has to provide the service.

Wow, what a story...sorry to hear things didn't go well. I was actually having a quiet dinner (alone) by the pool after my Akane experience and didnt' go into the bar. Actually, not totally true, my date from night before left her toothbrush case in my room, so popped in to return to her:)

But back to your situation - I've never heard of the girls asking for that type of dough at G's. But the bar has a new crop of young ones and maybe the price has gone up. I popped into the bar Monday night after checking in, bought the mamasan and a couple of the girls some drinks, at midnight barfined a newbie and we never even talked price. When done, gave her B2000 and she was fine with it. I've always thought going rate was ST B2000-2500 and LT 2500-3000, and LT means multiple shots, not just 1 or 2.

Of course you purchase a service and are entitled to a second shot. My point is, when she is unwilling, when she plays tricks and clearly showed her boredom, shagging a yawning girl is not very self-motivating.

Therefore the second shot depends on a lot of factors, but even if the girl is not my GF, I still like to see some motivation from her. I don't say to give it up. I don’t agree to the statement either. You way is way to byrocratic and has the basic attitude of mistrust. If you start like that that in your mind a counter of deliverables is counting those, then you may miss some fun.

I never had a problem with multiple shots. My girls tended to stay till late afternoon. but the multiple shots came out as the result of some fun playing and talking, joking, Jacuzzi bath fun etc. So it was never a wake up and get to action directly. All was more fun laugh and play then to follow an unwritten duty schedule.

I may have to make a bad experience yet, sometime it may happen, but I won't make a fuss out of it, cut money (but don't tip either), talk to the 'boss' etc. Just will not repeat, but keep gentle and in the bar may clearly choose another girl.

Chemistry needs to be there or created. This is what will make the difference between a fun and enjoy experience and a schedule of duty. But this is well known here anyhow.
