I'm sure some of you centro guys know this one. There's a big number 13 on the door, you go upstairs and it's a good sized bar. On Thursday afternoon it was packed with people, drinking beer smoking cigarettes and listening to Brazilian funk music, it's all dark and quite a scene. I went with a friend who goes there everyday, he introduced me to his regulars, Amanda who is tiny and skinny and Mona Lisa, Mona was more my type she was an absolute beauty you can have at 65 for 20 minuets, 100 for 40 and 150 for an hour. Me and my buddies went there but nobody charged anything.
I put together a short video of my 2018 pre carnival trip to Rio.
I usually stay in an apartment but my reservation fell through so I decided to stay at the Pestana hotel. This hotel was 100% user friendly, during the day when security was present and the front desk was full of agents they were extremely professional, signed the girl in and called me to come down and sign the paperwork. No extra charge and no problems at all. During the night things seemed to be a little relaxed and no need to stop at front desk we just walked in like any other couple. On weekends they have a DJ on the roof deck and some GDP's show up, all you have to do is take them right down to your room if that is what happens. I had the ocean front suite with panoramic view of Copacabana, was very impressive. Pool area was good too during the day.

When I was there there was always a few good ones so I didn't want to stay too late so I usually picked one that was appealing and looked manageable. But when I was leaving more good ones were coming in always. Girls get in free and guys pay 50 reais and get 1 free drink. While late night Copacabana options are very limited Dolce Vita provides a viable option. One taxi driver told me to go to Casa Blanca but I did not and it has been mentioned here recently and also suggested to wait around as girls come in and out. Looks like the girls move around Copa from Mabs to Dolce Vita to Casa Blanca looking for business so you either have to have patience or hit it lucky.
