If you want to live in Berlin legally, there's some red tape involved:

You need a residence permit/visa (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) that you obtain from the Auslaenderamt (foreigners' office.) Then you have to register with the cops at the Einwohneramt as well. You probably need the help of a German to fill out the forms. (And you need a work permit [Arbeitserlaubnis] to work there, which is not guaranteed given the high unemployment rate.)

My apologies if this info is out of date, and I don't know how easy it is to get a visa just to hang out in Berlin.

You'll surely find a German woman that likes Latin men, not that rare. I know one that lives in Spain. I know another than makes frequent trips to DR, PR and Spain, speaks Spanish fluently.

I am seriously considering Berlin as well.

The sticking point is income. You don't need a work permit if you don't plan on working in the country and this is what I am working on currently, something I can run from a remote location.

Of course you could teach English....

You might want to use up your entire 90 day visa-free stay on the ground to see how you like it. Hostels are dirt cheap and should be less than renting an apartment locally.

I moved here (or rather ended up here) 5.5 years ago. At the time I was using my Canadian passport. When it became apparent that I wanted to stay here I applied for and received my British passport which I had allowed to expire. Once I had the British (EU) passport I was legal to live here and work.

However-finding a job here, speaking less than perfect German, was not easy. Maybe it depends upon which field you work in but I found Germans are very reluctant to actually hire a foreigner. Rather, they will hire you but not legally. I am still working on this in fact and exist in a bit of a grey area.

I would say that of you really want to live here start brushing up on your German asap. That has, and is, one of my biggest challenges. It is actually hard to find people with whom to practice. Most people I spend time with speak very good English, and I am a bit lazy with the German so we end up speaking English. At work I speak German but as soon as things get busy I am not learning anything-just trying to communicate however I can.

I actually find one of the best places for me to practice German is at Artemis. Many of the girls speak German as as second language so they speak in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Or maybe I just use this as a justification for going there;-)).

Recent 1 hour session--my first of 10 in Berlin with reports to follow (1 KD, 1 Liberty, 8 Artemis). Kissing ok but not worth it. Bottom line--you can do just fine for 30 min/60 Euro if you just want 1 visit and privacy.

You can always check the Reports of Distinction where things are a bit easier to find.

My experience of Liberty is that you can almost always expect a pretty good session there. Just find a girl who appeals to you and the service will be pretty good. It is a well run bordello and the management encourages the girls to be service oriented.

I used to be fairly regular with Nadine but that was quite some time ago, maybe even more than 2 years, when she worked at Müller II. That location has been closed for some time and for a while she worked at the Love Lounge location. Then she disappeared and I have never seen anyone on any site that I thought might be her. Had I, I would have most certainly checked it out as I found her to be a real sweet heart & a great fuck.

As for Sabrina-no one on that website by that name. I do remember a Sabrina who worked at Müller II but again that was a log time back. I had one session and never repeated. I remember it as being, well, unmemorable.

You need to go out of the Schengen Zone to "reset the clock" so maybe you could go to Ukraine or Turkey. But even if you do that you can only stay 6 months out of one year.

In Berlin it should be easy to get a visa as an artist or freelancer 'freiberufer'. Berlin is full of artists so they like more, but i guess you might need some portfolio. You can be a freelancer if you have a college degree and something you can say you will do. or without college degree if you have been doing something. In the end they will look at how much money you have. They have some monthly minimum that you need to have. I think it is around 800€. And you need to bring enough to support yourself for a year I think. That is the really simplistic version. But in Berlin it will be easier than trying to get the visa in Western Germany. Americans and about 15 other countries can move to Germany and apply after arrival. Other countries who need a visa must get the visa before they arrive.

It's funny how Berlin has become the target city for this. 15 years ago it was Prague. I think if you want cheap hot, willing women Ukraine would be a better choice. The cost of living is much lower and you can probably get a visa pretty easily then make money teaching English (and save money boning the students) since nobody speaks it there.

Thanks for the clarification on the EU and visas. Of course it wouldn't be as easy as taking a trip to beautiful Switzerland. I also didn't know about the 6 months out of a year but I imagine it's often ignored. I met a New Zealander a couple of years ago in Italy who was spending 2-3 years in the EU. That person had already been through France and parts of Italy and soon went on to Spain with plans for Germany. Or perhaps New Zealand passports are exempt due to UK ties.

At the moment my favorites are mostly at Artemis and even there most seem to have disappeared last visit. Check out the Artemis thread which is where I do most of my reporting these days.

As for bordellos-my visits to the Berlin bordellos, again, have fallen off in favor of the interaction outside the room one experiences in the Artemis environment.

I do occasionally (every couple of months) visit Romy at Liberty. I like her and her service is almost always top notch. I caught her one day at the tail end of a long day and she was frankly too tired to really be working-but next time she made up for that.

When people ask I always push the bordellos that have some reputation and therefore see the benefit of hiring girls who will generally give good service. Of course these things also have to do with the customer and how he approaches the session. But in my experience when one uses the better bordellos a truly bad session is rare.
