Hi all,
I am planning a trip to Pattaya in Feb 2016 with a friend, I did some research and narrowed down to following list:
Need suggestion if this is OK?
A few quick pointers:
1. First, this post belongs in the hotel thread of the Pattaya board.
2. All hotels in Pattaya are girl friendly. Some may ask for a joiner fee but no hotel will refuse a guest. Take note of the age limits prescribed by different hotels. The hotels thread has all this information and more.
3. the estimated rates are all good and the hotels shortlisted appear to be 3 star. Unless you are one of those early risers avoid breakfast. Most hotels shut the breakfast buffet by 10 am and the spread is not all that attractive. That said, you are never too far away from a good eating joint in Pattaya.
4. End of the day, choose the hotel that offers best location & access with respect to the action areas. So anything on Beach Road, 2nd Road, Soi Buakhaow should be good bets. Beach road, if you like the beach, is the best bet.

Christmas in Pattaya
Team,
Has anyone ever spent Christmas in Pattaya or new years? I am thinking about booking my first Christmas time trip. But, heard it is very busy at that time. I worry, I will not be able to get a room. I was also researching online and read girls charge an extra 500 baut for short time? I don't know if that is true. Is the whole month of January hard to get a cheap room as well? I been to Thailand many times just never on a major holiday. If Thailand is too busy at that time I was thinking Vietnam but worry the girls all go back home for a week from the hot tocs. That defeats the whole purpose of my trip.
Thanks

Thanks
Other than the hotels charging High Season prices, I have never run into the problems you mention. This is not a Christian Country.

Hi Everone,
I've booked my holiday for end of January visit to Pattaya. This is my 2nd visit. I would really appreciate if senior members can share some trusted girls number with me please.
Happy mongering.

Thanks
I was in Thailand back in Dec 2013 and brought in the New Year in Pattaya. Everything gets expensive by say 20%. The price of drinks remain the same, but hotel tariff, bar fines and ST / LT charges go up. This is not because of some strategic pricing model but simply due to demand / supply. No one wants to go back to the hotel "alone" during these days.
Soi 6 charges remain the same if you want in-house services but if you want to take the girl out of the bar then the higher prices apply.
This has been my experience. However, with all the present economic challenges faced by Russia and the prevalent general security concerns in the region it may be different this year. But then Thai logic says charge more during "low season" and that is an entirely different story!

There are no set prices on women (unless you are in a soapie) that say 3000 baht and 3500 baht during the end of December. Either party starts with a price and the other party counters it until they come to a happy medium and walk off together hand in hand. I do not know of too many instances where the first price given is expected to be taken.

As long as there are enough big swinging dicks (weekend millionaires), it is difficult.

Thank you and everyone else that responded! Flight to Bangkok are still reasonable. I am thinking about booking room before I arrive online. But, in Thailand in the busy season I wonder if they will really hold my room. I have my doubts. But, I will put a plan together.
Thanks

Awesome CIS girl
So was in Pattaya a few months back and was on the lookout for a CIS lady. Went to mixx and the prices quoted were insane. Women asking for 8 k and not ready to budge. Proceeded to Lima Lima and found a pretty looking 21 year old. Initially her offer was for 6 k and not refusing to budge. Chilled out for a bit near her working friends. Worked my charm and voilą she was ready for 5 k LT. Proceeded to the room. Tried to talk to her and found out she does not understand a word of English. Getting worried now how will I explain things to her. She undressed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Came out and told me to take a shower by myself. I told her to join me which she wasn't ready initially but agreed too. Got cleaned up proceeded to action. What began from there was pure bliss. She had the perfect beach body under her long dress. She did everything in her power to please me. She started with blowjob like a pro and then came on top. And first round over. Had a blast with her and a total of 3 shots in a span of 12 hours. Putting up her pictures in the next post. Thanks. She is highly recommended.

Thanks
Just search for your hotel and book now if you are worried about room availability. After reading your post I jumped on 3 different hotel search engines and within seconds found rooms available in many hotels ranging from 5* down to 3*, prices seemed a bit higher but nothing like one sees at Carnival time in Rio. So if you want to go, takes all of a minute to book a hotel and then just go.
And as Mr. E succinctly put as always, there is no set in stone policy on charging 500 baht more. This is SEA almost everything is up for negotiation. Just the negotiation is a bit harder during Christmas season because the demand is much higher.
...As long as there are enough big swinging dicks (weekend millionaires), it is difficult.
That is exactly the point I was trying to communicate. Demand Supply. There is plenty of evidence on tourism trends available.
1. Over the last 10 years the number of tourists arriving in Pattaya has more than doubled. It is pegged at around 7 mn for 2014.
2. Occupancy rates of hotels average at 54% through the year but from Nov to Feb it hovers at 72%.
3. Average Tariff for the year is around 1770 THB. From Nov to Feb it is 2427 THB.
So there ARE enough weekend millionaires in town and hence one would expect prices to spike.
Those who state they have managed to hold their price must indeed be excellent negotiators. Tips on negotiation are welcome, everyone would benefit.
Never noticed this but the AGOGO's will up the barfine on New Years Eve.
This practice has been going on as long as I have been living here, especially with Go Go's that have set prices in Barfines like the Happy Group which today is 800 baht all night. So on Christmas, New Years Eve and New Year Day, it will double to 1600 baht. Now with all the clubs hiring Agency girls that have two-three tier Barfines I do not know. As for the Happy Group many of the Super-Stars will be holding out for 7,000 plus for LT, if they even go LT, and if they do don't expect LT to be too long. As noted by Mr. E. Do not assume you can negotiate.
As noted by Mr. E. Do not assume you can negotiate.
Actually Mr. E noted that you CAN negotiate most of the time and I concur.
Sure some things like bar fines or fees at a soapie are more difficult to negotiate the girls ST / LT fee is totally up to her. As an example I was at Sexy Airline in September and I asked the girl how much for ST. She said "3000". I said "baby I told you this was my first night on this trip but this is my 8th trip" I then told her "baby short time is 2000" She took her arms off me and crossed them and then stuck at her tongue at me and said "OK, I go change".
