However, but I can't disagree more with this comment. Yes, OTH was an old asian hand by virtue of having resided in the Kingdom for many years. He contributed to ISG and had many supporters.

But at the same time, he was too arrogant, and a constant whiner. He finally got caught with his hands in the cookie jar too many times and made himself 'persona non-grata' with the same hands that fed him all these years.

Was yesterday at Patpong and wanted to try a BJ-Bar, did never before. Went to Rose, only 3 girls and one uglier than the other and one old woman went on my nerves wanted a drink for a 2 minute massage at my hands. Didn't finish my bear and run out.

It does not sound like the guy has much experience or interest in bonking fat, ugly, or 25+ year old girls either. So I don't think it's logical to say that NicFrenchy's approach is uterly wrong. I thus see no value in your friends "holding out" on sex until the second time. What is he trying to accomplish by that? Make them think he is gay, scarred of women, or not interested? Or does he spin some fable about how the woman is "too special to him" for him to have sex with her on the first night? Why not take it a step further even, and on the second night, instead of having sex, just lay in bed holding hands and kissing lightly? Perhaps on the third night they could get naked, and on the fourth finally have sex? Really, I don't understand the point of this.

You have been on this board for a long time and I usually agree with your contributions and opinions but regarding OTH, in due respect I can't agree with you on this issue. When I first came on this board I didn't post much but I read much of what OTH has to contribute between himself and other members. I didn't agree or disagree one way or another with his contribution and debates with other members. I just read both opinions and put it on the back burner that this was their experience and opinions. Yes! OTH, is and was a old asian hand by virtue of having resided in the Kingdom for many years. Residing in the Kingkom just like the members who he debated comes experiences, good or bad and those experiences allows not only OTH to express them but other members.

When everything was going down two years ago, I was a supporter of OTH, and I gave my many reasons to Jackson. During that period I spend hours reviewing all of OTH post and exchanges with other members. Sure he might have been arrogant but who isn't from time to time on this board? He expressed his experiences and he gave his reason each and everytime so did others but the BIG DIFFERENCE was OTH never went to Jackson because he couldn't get others to agree with him. Those are the whiners who didn't have the balls to identify themselves instead ask Jackson to do the dirty work for them they attack him personally the first opportunity they got or went to Jackson. He gave and took it as good as anyone and never went behind someones back! He lived and worked as a teacher in Thailand and like everyone everywhere gets frustrated with their jobs he vented on the board! Believe it or not he was human regardless if you agree with him or not. The same people who debated him took every opportunity when he had a bad day to atack him personally because that is all they had left! Remember when he had the confrontation with the taxi driver? If anyone got personally attacked it was him.

As noted, I went through all his post. I never read anything that required his post to be deleted by Jackson. Sure like many of us get frustrated and from time to use words that might not be fitting but it came from both sides, words like Jap, monkey, dark brown fucking machine, talking about racism but I never saw Jackson come in and delete or tongue lass those individual but OTH was approach to tone it down for his personal views and opinions. He was arrogant like all of us and he had a ego and he refuse Jackson request and offer! He was never given a chance to defend his position in the open forum and never really had a choice.

These comments aren't a referendum on Jackson, he has a tough job to do, and it doesn't help when you have splineless individuals constantly running to him whining about a member who clearly has express his opinion based on his experience with the many years of residing in Thailand. Those individual try to take that away from him and got personal when they couldn't win him over! He never got his hand caught in the cookie jar he lived and die on this board and was force out but he stayed true to himself and his convictions by walking away knowing he did nothing wrong! That is the true OTH!

The last few years I have gone back to the back burner because I have personally experience some of the things OTH contributed and I can tell you there are many Expats living in Thailand that feel as he did. How he handle it was by venting on ISG whenever the opportunity arised I myself just don't have the patience that he had. I never met the man but since his name was brought up I hope he is well no matter where he is residing!

I think I joined shortly before or after OTH left, so I initially saw only a few references to him in other posts or something like that, but one of the first things I did after I started to read this board was to read all OTH's posts. Tolerated at times yes, but accepted and "let-in" as you say never. And, hey for those of us that have lived and worked here for more than a few years, there are many frustrations and sometimes one gets quite fed up, but at the end of the day it is our choice to be here and we have to accept and be at peace with the way things are here, for we "ain't" going to change Thailand. Hopefully though, it will change us for the better. Thais have a great capacity for joy. Best thing about living with a Thai woman is that she wakes up happy almost every morning. Nice!
