When I went to CTG I wasn't sure things would go as planned. My plan was to visit casas and maybe the beach scene. I have always been leary of the LDV, Tu Candela, bar scene everywhere I go. Since I am usually alone I don't like having pick-up chicas in my hotel room. I would rather get my business done elsewhere and go home safely alone.

But I got lucky, stayed at The Hotel da Pietro in Boca Grande which is chica friendly. On my visit to the Banc Colombia ATM, I met Isaac, who used to live in Alaska and spoke perfect English. He works as a barker for this jewelry place on the block. He thought I was from the marriage arranger, "Foreign Affairs." After talking with him a while he said he knew where some chica havens were. I must have looked as if I needed some. What I liked about Isaac was that he was my age, 55, not some young hustler.

The casa was about 15 minutes by taxi, about 15 to 20 girls sitting around. The front door was wide open and it was a regular house. All the girls were fine. My contact in CTG took me to another place by taxi which was more like a bar than a house. Only six girls in the place, only two were my type. Can't believe I left my camera at the hotel. First, the hobby in Cartagena is far, far, far, from being ruined. Whatever anyone's definition of "ruined" may be.

Next, a few innocent photos on a members-only website, after he told her he would post them, would be the least of the reasons any place could ever be "ruined."
