Panama City

I just heard the same thing about Veneto from a reliable friend, native Spanish speaker, who is currently in Panama City. The Veneto is back to its schizophrenic mode. No Colombianas in the casino AND no unregistered guests in the rooms. Just a few Panamanian girls hanging out. Also the Continental hotel on Via Espana has instituted a strict no guest policy. However he did report large number of independents at Habanos and Bogdeguita. Good quality too.

Sahara is also in the Uruguay district. It is across from Gauchos Steak House and diagonally across from Habibis. A short walk from Bodeguiita. In the past I have not seen any significant number of working girls here. But that may have changed. I like the place for a little diversion. They play a lot of rock music. The patio outside is nice if you are with someone. The music is quiet enough to allow conversation. Inside they often have live bands.

Could someone please confirm what has recently been said here that Continental Riande on Via Espana is suddenly not girl-friendly. If that is true, that is a bummer because I have booked a full week there starting early October only because it had been reported on these boards that that hotel was girl friendly. If it is true, what is the next best hotel alternative (similar [high] quality hotel) that is still girl-friendly?

I'm currently staying at the Veneto, it looks like what has been previously reported is true, there is new management at veneto. Cool hotel, and worst case you can hang out at the casino on average nights. I've had absolutely no trouble bringing in girls, no issues at all. They do have security right at the escalator and looks like they are not letting in colombians, or unlicensed girls, etc. There's always a couple of girls hanging on the tables or the casino but nothing special and very few.

Like the previous few posts, those clubs and bars are the spots. The girls have just moved to new spots.

Guys, just received a flyer in my email, a new strip club is opening called Taoz Club, seems to be located in the entrance to Via Argentia from Via Espana, entering the Block Buster, like if you're going to Aquarius or Riverside. They're opening this saturday and seems to have an opening promo, all you can drink $20 and 2 guys for $30 all you can drink. Anyone in the area might give it a try a report

Picked up this paisa girl from a parlour (I think it was called GT) not far from the center a few years back and took her back to the hotel. Inside they parade the girls in front of you and you take one to the room in the back, this way is cheaper too. And it used to be that we would ask the taxi driver to drop us off around the corner so that they do not bump up the price to pay driver's commision. Lesson hard learned.

I have a four hour layover in Panama city in the morning on my way to Cartagena, is it realistic to knock one off, is GT open this early?

They are open at 7:00pm. Will that do?

I had two friends tell me there were staying at this Ecomoncy hotel but can not find any thing about it. One girl was named Daisy 5 feet 3 inches well endowed about a 38 d thin as rail lite skinned pretty face with braces The other Carolina 5 feet 4 inches braces high cheek bones long dark hair build like a brick shit house they got there in early April Daisy is still there working the casinos any information would be helpful.

here's my report on my weekend in panama city. thanks to all your advide and help. first off, i hired a taxista recommended here (alex). great guy and knew where to go and if wanted something different, off we went.

my first nite i stopped by le palace. this place is small but full of hot women! probably about 30-40 chicks that nite and maybe 10 were 7's. the rest were 8's or better. they'll come up and try to get you sit down, but take your time before you do that cause it's a pain to unhook from there. i'd take a girl to the non-smoking cave first, quieter and more private. but freezing! so girl needs to get close for warmth. i took this tiny but curvy chick back, candy? , and she really got into it. we also took a lap into habano's to find her friend, but it was dead on thurs at 1am (? )

next night, i met up with some local ex-pats i met in a poker tourney. went down to calle uruguay. sahara, moods, people and bodeguita. sahara was ok, but not full of chicks though and mostly with el boyfriend. la bodeguita was jam packed and popping. don't skip this place. there are hotties you can dance and grind with even if you don't take them home. i had a blast with 3-4 girls i met there. i finally took home another colombiana (yamila) i did some shots with.- me tequila, she aguardiente of course. she was just ok.

last night was at elite. much bigger than palace, tons more chicas and just as hot. there i was tackled by the hottest little honey on the way in. jimena from cali. i told her i needed to do a lap first, but after breaking the land speed record i confirmed she was the top pick there that nite. she landed me hard and came back that nite. nice surprise, in bed she was caliente too. said she was saving up for an apt in col, going back in nov. next day we went to the mall to find her a new bathing suit as next nite was beach night at elite. i can't recommend her enough.

other findings:

veneto. i didn't see many pro's working the lobby on sat nite. but it's a fun place still. i played poker there and had no problems with chinese locals talking during a hand. in fact, they warned one guy for this.

sheraton. not chica friendly! it's a shame cause the layout is great, you can get to elevators without really hitting the lobby. but they check you coming in. marriott's much better. i also heard there's a good sushi bar that turns into chill lounge at top of marriott with good non-pro talent.

cristal moon. skip it!

i loved panama city, it has a party vibe from the moment you land. if you need a spanish-speaking taxi guide, send me a note & i'll give you alex's number.

Guys, I'll pass Panama for 1-2 nights. I've read a lot, but anyway, simple format like go to that hotel, then go for dinner there, hit that club and make for example $200-$300 ready will be very useful for me, cause I am on hurry.
