some interesting questions and I'll do my best to help as I am sure others will:

1, Book a double room for 2 guests, they never really ask for details for the 2nd guest at Check In, however play safe, so they don't ask for a surcharge because you have guests.

2, Don't go for a boutique hotel, although I have never had problems there, Hiltons should be fine, but I'd hardly call em top end in London, what's your budget per night, The main chains which are busy don't even notice their guests, never mind visitors, I hear the Landmark in Marylebone rocks.

3, Anything can happen, standard procedure at night in a lot of hotels is the "Mr X, There is a Guest/Young Lady here to see you", most escorts do like to be met downstairs and be brought up by you, and a drink in the bar never hurts to calm the nerves of both parties.
