Some random thoughts on Pattaya
Well, I am wrapping up my Pattaya trip now, and I have to say it was great. I'm surprised that I've never checked out this city before, even though I've lived in Bangkok for a couple years now.
I'm a terrible writer, so I'll save you the trouble of reading a long FR from me. Instead, here are some quick bullet points. Nothing particularly new for Pattaya veterans, but maybe will help people coming here for the first time:
- I thought I had seen some real debauchery in Bangkok, but boy was I wrong. The things I saw at The Windmill on Walking Street were far crazier than anything at, say, Crazy House on Soi Cowboy. I highly recommend The Windmill to anyone wishing to see completely naked girls, spread-eagled, being eaten out by perverted old white guys while they finger another girl in the ass. The girls aren't the prettiest, but I'd say the Windmill is a must-see for anyone coming to visit. I didn't find anything else at this level of debauchery on Walking Street.
- I found that the prettiest girls were at Sensations on Walking Street. The girls there are gorgeous. However, the most *fun* place I went to was What's Up Bar, by far. That's where three girls gave me a handjob (over my pants, sadly) at the same time. They wouldn't let go! A good sneaky trick to make a guy buy you drink after drink, cause my other head wasn't thinking anymore. I also saw three girls eating each other out onstage, while dressed in Egyptian costumes. Won't forget that one for the rest of my life.
- I barfined a girl from Baccara, who took me to a bunch of clubs on Walking Street. Insomnia, Ice Bar, and a couple others I forget. Maybe it was too early (it was midnight), but most of these places were surprisingly empty on a Saturday.
- I spent a good deal of time on Soi 6 as well. I get why many of you guys prefer this to Walking Street. Soi 6 feels much more real, no tourists. Whereas Walking Street felt like Soi Cowboy multiplied ten times, Soi 6 was much more low-key. A good place to get drinks with friends away from the loud incessant music blasting everywhere on WS. But the quality of the girls on Soi 6 was considerably lower. I can see how. If you really took your time. You could find some great diamonds-in-the-rough on Soi 6, but I got impatient. This overall area had more of a Nana-esque shadiness to it. Not a bad thing at all, just an observation.
- I spent an afternoon hopping from soapy to soapy. Went to Honey I, Honey II, Sabai Room, Sabai Dee, and Rasputin. Of all these, Rasputin definitely had the best selection, and the most girls. I would suggest skipping the other ones completely. But maybe it's because I went too early. I started at Sabai Room around 4 pm. By the time I ended up at Rasputin, it was 7 pm, so there were tons of girls. Probably at least 50. The rooms at Rasputin are very nice and clean.
- That said, the best soapy girl I picked up on this trip was at Honey I (which I returned to another day in the evening, and found a better selection). She said she actually lived in Bangkok and had a normal job, but came to work in Pattaya on weekends for the money. She didn't want to work at a soapy in Bangkok in case she ran into her friends. There is something refreshing about being with someone who only does this part-time. I think that's why I like Nataree in Bangkok too. Many of the girls I pick up at Nataree similarly are students or have real jobs. Maybe it gives it more of a GFE feel, I don't know. In any case, I got the Honey I girls' number, and I'll definitely be hitting her up back in Bangkok. She left Pattaya today, and coincidentally, lives quite near me in BKK.
All in all, the vibe in Pattaya is definitely different than Bangkok. Girlie bars are everywhere. Not just restricted to three areas, like in Bangkok. It's prevalent everywhere you go, it's part of Pattaya's very fabric. It's a fantastic place to spend around 3 days, though it almost becomes too much of a good thing. By the end of my 5-day trip, I felt almost desensitized to all the tits and ass I was seeing everywhere! I can't believe I am even saying that, but it's true. Looking forward to coming back again soon, though next time I might plan a slightly shorter trip.

I was alone a few days and thus spent a good portion of my hours watching Big Bash League down under at a good bar near LK metro. Followed it up with a visit to Soi 6 almost as a routine.
The strangest thing I noticed in this trip were the local marketplace along beach road heading into WS was not there, it was quite a bummer. On the other hand, I picked up a few Freelancers whereas started my trip vowing I wouldn't. I met a couple cutes along BR and invested time, asking where they work and so on, a few walked over from beer bars by Central Festival since they hadn't been barfined.
LK metro was a life saver, most of the girls in the GG bars wanted business, being less popular. Action Street was amazing as well, I was advised by a few skeptic locals to avoid WS on some nights but I come to Pattaya once a year, I can't afford to take it easy. Angel Witch was by far the best GG / Show bar in town, as it has been, Baccara and a few others have dropped their production and routines as far as special performances go.
During my daily visits to Soi 6, I spent a lot of time surveying girls, did not mind taking a few extra strolls up and down to find a good looker. I did not find NYE to be a season where good girls go home for family time in the past, but it was definitely harder to find good lookers. WS gogos had great variety of girls and coyotes, Happy A GG and Airline were packed with mongers but they had a machine of girls, kept the tempo going and I was impressed at how they have kept their quality up.
Price wise. Soi 6 BF + room + girl always gave me a damage of 1300 bht, Never asked for LT from them. LK Metro BF was 500-1000 and Girls asked 2 k-2.5 k. I felt even the newer inexperienced girls hired at Bars in WS had a heavy price tag, BF 1 k-1.5 k + 2.5 k-4.5 k for the girls. I took a few nights where I just bought girls drinks and tipped them well. The attention you get from a couple of girls sharing Lady Drinks is just phenomenal. Simon Bar is usually my favorite avenue to score a girl late at night, but there was a serious lack of talent, I mean defcon serious.
This was my first trip without going into Insomnia or Mixx or Lucifer etc, I am quite proud since I got laid more times than days thanks to Soi 6. I overheard a couple people my aged mid 20's at my BBL sports bar having lunch beside me and sharing how they have bought tables for 5-10 k with a bottle, granted it is a universal way to spend NYE but I can't stand it.
I still couldn't muster up enough courage to approach a black girl, still haven't taken it off my list. If local GGs were not faring as well as they have in the past, I couldn't think the Russian money-grabbers would fare too well either and they had employed more people to lead guests in their bars. A lot of the side streets have places close up shop behind Walking Street, Best friends Bar complex along BR used to be a popular hangout for my buddies and I, they had very little talent.
Had a hotel next to Tukom for my stay, total damage of trip with food drinks and girls $1800. I understand prices have risen since a lot of senior mongers days, but Pattaya is heaven.

What are the so called "Beach parties" held at Pattaya.
Can some expat throw some light? Are these parties fun to attend?
Costs involved. I have heard they are arranged on Full moon called the Full Moon party??
