And no, I did not apply to any of those ads either, I`m not gay or desperate enough to pay 9000 baht an hour for a Canadian girl HJ. On visiting their websites I guessed these pair were doing an around the world tour and trying to finance their travels by doing the massage and HJ bit.
There have been other ads on craigslist, giving virtually no details or photos of themselves but many requesting obscene photos or just photos of the enquirers in order to get a reply. And again, no way would I respond to any of those types of ads, they sound like a set up to me.
Anyway, as for the Chiang Mai mongering scene, I am writing off craigslist as a possibility for hooking up with anyone and placing in my file under D, for dead loss.

You have to be careful but you never know when one will turn out to be true. I lost my one contact in CM three years ago after some good samaritian married her and took her back to the west so I have no desire to visit that place again.
