At least they're not fake or representing another lady. My experiences were positive in this regard.
As for asking for the IDs, I understand why:
Some of the girls were robbed and even attacked by some clients in the past. The only way to catch or at least report these thieves is through their IDs. So I think these girls have specifically asked the reception to save the IDs of every visitor they receive, so that in case they get attacked in anyway, they can track the visitor's name and ID.
I've given my ID multiple times and had no issues.
So as long as you're not planning to steal the girl, don't worry.
