Two Weeks TACO Trump strikes again!
Bear in mind, the only reason Trump is suddenly changing his mind about NATO, expressing a favorable opinion of it, recognizing the "love" other world leaders have for their countries and likely even this warm and fuzzy sentiment regarding Trump's Tariff Taxes on ordinary Americans' deadline is merely his way of pretending to be a more humane, kind-hearted person. He figures that will impress any Nobel Committee member out there and improve his chances of getting the same Prize they awarded to Obama.
He is really desperate to be given the same Award they gave to Obama.

Renewables are not lowering energy costs for the end user!
The advantages of renewables are not translating into lower power costs for the end users.
Renewable Energy and Electricity Costs
Renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, have seen significant cost reductions
making them increasingly competitive with traditional fossil fuels. For instance, the cost of electricity from solar power fell by 85 percent between 2010 and 2020, while costs of onshore and offshore wind energy fell by 56 percent and 48 percent respectively. However, the relationship between renewable energy and electricity prices in the United States is complex. While some states with high renewable energy adoption, like Texas, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota, have seen prices remain stable or even decrease , other factors such as grid management, infrastructure, and market rules can influence electricity prices. Additionally, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that in 2023, about 60% of U.S. utility-scale electricity generation was produced from fossil fuels, 19% from nuclear energy, and 21% from renewable energy sources. Despite the declining costs of renewables, retail electricity prices in the U.S. have been rising, although this trend may change with future technological advancements and market adjustments.
Quote by Brave AI.
4. Solar and wind now provide the cheapest power for 67% of the world.
The costs associated with solar and wind have fallen dramatically in recent years. According to*BNEF, the cost of energy globally for onshore wind and utility-scale solar is now $44 and $50/MWh (on a levelized basis), compared to $100 and $300/MWh only a decade ago. In the*U.S., the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) associated with onshore wind ($24-46/MWh) and utility-scale solar ($31-111/MWh) is now less than that of almost all gas-fired power production. Battery storage, which is crucial to address the variability of wind and solar power, has seen the swiftest global price drop among all technologies, from nearly $600/MWh in 2015 to about $150/MWh in the first half of 2020.
This precipitous drop in the cost of utility-scale solar and onshore wind has made them the cheapest sources of power in two-thirds of the world. Today, solar projects in Chile, the Middle East and China, or wind projects in Brazil, the U.S. and India, are approaching figures lower than $30/MWh, lower than the costs of building and producing power from plants that use coal or*even the cheapest gas. By 2030, upcoming innovations are likely to reduce costs even further.
https://www.wri.org/insights/setting-record-straight-about-renewable-energy
I am about keeping it real. Renewables are not lowering prices for end user.

By the way, some of the Democratic are orgasmic with the guy slotted to be NYC mayor.
Taibbi wrote a great piece about this soon to be mayor, Zohran Mamdani: As they floundered, Trump oozed confidence and claimed to have answers. Mamdani does too, at a time when the heads of the traditional Democratic party look either ancient or dead and have no ideas beyond bleating about democracy and denouncing critics as Russian traitors. A confident salesman will win in this moment. The difference between Trump and Mamdani, of course, lay in their respective "answers. "
There were few true Marxists in America then even among college grads, since we'd been through The Discussion. 17-year-old males of my generation reached college trained to see the main logistical challenges of life as scoring beer, scoring weed, and chasing girls. If you went to a certain type of school (Mamdani's Bowdoin definitely qualifies), there was pretty much always beer and weed somewhere in your dorm, and often girls too. The only admission price was The Discussion. I went to Bard, where a handful of dudes I envied deeply wore Daniel Ortega jackets and Che-style facial hair and talked about Systems of Oppression until women threw themselves at them. Electrostate vs Petrostate: 24M Technologies gives Petrostates existential dread?
Thanks to President Joe Biden's IRA, Chips and Science Act, we are finally starting to see American innovation, return to respectability and compete with China, in the battery tech space, with breakthroughs in "next-generation battery technology" from 24M Technologies.
Next-Generation Battery Technology Insights:
"24M Technologies represents a rare leapfrog in battery design: one that addresses energy density, safety, manufacturability, and recyclability all at once." ...
"The next wave of electric vehicle (EV) advancement hinges not only on sleek designs or faster motors, but on the very heart of the vehicle: the battery...promises to reshape how batteries are designed, manufactured, and recycled with major implications for EVs, aerospace, defense, and more." ...
"Instead of using binders and layering electrode components, 24M mixes electrolyte with active material into a viscous slurry and casts it directly onto foil. This reduces process steps by 50%, slashes capital costs, lowers energy consumption, and allows for thicker electrodes. The result? Higher energy density, improved safety, and a more sustainable production process."
"Engineers will appreciate that this method supports up to 660 Wh/kg surpassing the 400 Wh/kg threshold critical for sectors like aerospace, high-performance EVs, and eVTOLs. Lighter batteries with higher energy density directly translate into longer range, better efficiency, and lower system costs." ... https://leandesign.com/next-generation-battery-technology-insights/
What truly significant about their technological breakthroughs is that it is, battery chemistry agnostic (and will support most chemistries), cold-weather ready to -40C, compatible and easily integrated into existing OEM manufacturing processes, simplified and sustainable recycling
Game Changing Battery Tech:
Whether it's 24M Technologies' (1) SemiSolid Platform LiForever™, (2) Impervio™ Separator, (3) Eternalyte™ Electrolyte or their (4) ETOP™ (Electrode-to-Pack) game changing advances in battery tech, is a big leap forward, letting manufacturers upgrade existing lines without totally retooling.
While there's still a long way to go, to equal Chinese battery dominance, 24M Technologies and their next-generation battery tech, may yet give American manufacturers a great fighting chance, to catch-up and/or "outflank" China, in the battery space.
Another Win for Electrostates:
If 24M's tech is as good as advertised, with 660 wh/kg (1,000 mile ranges), 5-10 min. fast charging times, -40C cold weather operations and integrated easily into existing battery manufacturing, then yeah...it may not officially over, but it certainly is a major death-nail in the fossil fuel coffin.
24Ms tech isnt just disruptive, but an existential crisis for fossil fuels. Watch this space!!!
Thanks again, President Joe Biden!
PS: 24M Technologies, Inc. have been named a 2025 World-Changing Idea by Fast Company, for their Impervio™ battery separator technology. https://www.thebatterymagazine.com/24ms-impervio-battery-tech-wins-2025-world-changing-idea-award/

Things that do not take into account the installed base. When it is being used in an operating grid and has lowered the costs of electricity to the end user: get back with me!.
ROTFLMAO!
Renewable energy sources, particularly wind and solar, are often criticized for their potential to contribute to blackouts due to their intermittent nature and challenges in grid stability. Here are some of the key drawbacks associated with renewable energy that can lead to blackouts:
Intermittency and Variability:
Wind and solar power generation depends heavily on weather conditions, which can lead to sudden fluctuations in power supply. For example, a drop in wind speed or cloud cover can significantly reduce power output, making it difficult to maintain a stable supply.5*This variability becomes more problematic as the share of renewable energy in the grid exceeds 20-30%, increasing the risk of supply shortages during peak demand periods.
Grid Stability Issues:
Renewable energy sources like wind and solar do not inherently provide the same level of grid stability as traditional thermal power plants. Thermal plants use large rotating generators that help maintain the grid's frequency and voltage stability. In contrast, renewable sources connected via power electronics do not contribute to system inertia, making the grid more susceptible to frequency and voltage fluctuations. For instance, the January 8, 2021 incident in Europe highlighted the challenges of maintaining grid stability with high renewable penetration, leading to outages in several countries.2
Reactive Power Management:
Proper management of reactive power is crucial for maintaining voltage stability. Renewable energy plants, especially wind and solar, may not always be equipped to handle reactive power effectively, leading to voltage surges or drops. The April 2025 blackout in Spain and Portugal is believed to have been exacerbated by issues with reactive power management, where renewable plants failed to regulate voltage adequately.
Insufficient Backup and Flexibility:
The lack of sufficient backup and flexibility sources can exacerbate the risks associated with renewable energy. For example, during the August 2020 heat wave in California, insufficient storage capacity led to rolling blackouts as the grid struggled to meet peak demand when solar generation dropped.2*Similarly, the February 2021 cold snap in Texas highlighted the vulnerability of the grid when both renewable and conventional power sources were affected by extreme weather conditions.5
System Operator Challenges:
Grid operators face significant challenges in managing a grid with high renewable penetration. The failure to accurately predict and manage the mix of energy sources can lead to grid instability. The Spanish grid operator REE was found to have miscalculated the necessary mix of energy, contributing to the April 2025 blackout.4
Despite these challenges, it is important to note that renewable energy does not inherently cause blackouts. Countries like Germany have successfully integrated high levels of renewable energy without a decline in grid reliability.
However, achieving this requires robust grid management, investment in storage and flexibility solutions, and updated regulations to ensure that renewable energy sources can contribute to grid stability.
In summary, while renewable energy sources offer significant environmental benefits, their integration into the grid presents technical and operational challenges that must be addressed to prevent blackouts. These include improving grid stability, enhancing reactive power management, and ensuring adequate backup and flexibility. - Quote by Brave AI
Batteries

This has been going on for years. At least some of the victims were definitely alive and trying to escape a burning Tesla when door lock power was lost. Some escaped. Some did not. Below is a writeup I posted on a blog in 2022. Nothing has really changed. The Tesla door release situation is a fatality-via-burning-alive waiting to happen. As it has multiple times at this point.
https://philkoopman.substack.com/p/people-are-still-being-burned-alive
You mean a big red button that says manual door release would mess up the esthetics of the cockpit? Engineering advancements have real world consequences.
I am writing from personal experience. I set up and wired my entire solar power generating system. No fires so far, not even a hot wire. So, I am not just looking on the internet when I speak to my knowledge and give my opinions on solar energy generation.

Deep inside USA Economy, more sticker prices start to go up due to tariffs.
The latest inflation data came in hotter than expected, and Nike warned in its earnings on Thursday that prices will be going higher due to tariffs.
Across the U.S. retail and manufacturing distribution chains, inventory has started to be re-ticketed with higher prices, by between 8%-15%, according to ITS Logistics, including for apparel and consumer product goods.
The footwear industry says it expects prices to rise by between 6% and 10%.
On the surface of the U.S. economy, prices are higher. The latest inflation data out on Friday from the government showed a bigger uptick than forecast. On Thursday, Nike said it took a $1 billion hit due to tariffs and the fact that price increases have yet to be implemented.
Inside the U.S. economy, within distribution networks that manage inventory, there are fewer items overall due to the trade war, but more goods on which sticker prices are going up.
We are now seeing multiple customers increasing pricing, said Ryan Martin, president of distribution and fulfillment for ITS Logistics.
Combine that with China announcing it has come to an agreement to agree to the concept of the agreement they conceptually agreed to with Trump the last time they agreed to a concept of an agreement, Trump's immeasurable help in making sure China will get all the cheap oil it will ever need or want while the average price of a gallon of regular gas in America is higher today than it was last week, higher than it was last month and all those prices are higher than it was on the day Trump took office, higher than on election day, higher than it was under Biden going all the way back to October of last year, Trump canceling trade agreement talks of a concept of an agreement with Canada, the chasing off of the economically critical low income workers so intrinsic to recovering America faster, stronger and with lower inflation from Trump's Pandemic Part 1 term than any other major country and, of course, that Big Beautiful Disgusting Abomination of an Historic Wealth Transfer to the top 10% Wealthiest Families In America and you've got a classic Repub Recipe For Economic Disaster that only Repubs and never, ever Dems have produced and presided over time and time again for at least the past 100 years!
Sweet. Love to see it. It couldn't happen to a more deserving American Electorate. Elections Matter. Enjoy!
Oh, on a related note, the USA Stock Market under Trump's Pandemic Part 2 as measured by the S&P 500 Index has finally after 4-5 months squeaked out a new closing high 0. 55% higher than the previous high that was hit soon after the end of Biden's historically successful term.
So anyone worried about the 8%-15% higher prices you will be paying for damn near everything as soon as those new price stickers get stuck on those items, forget about it. As long as you are invested in USA Stocks you can expect to see gains of that money as much as, oh, 1. 4% or so every 12 months until "Two Weeks" TACO Trump's 2nd term is over.
Thank you for your vote.
