Making my way through the saunas of Macau, I finally had the opportunity to visit Familia Nobre last week. This seems to be a popular place for most people and a lot of the reviews on this forum have been positive, so I decided to give it a try.

The quick version is that my experience was quite mixed. Maybe it was the time of day or my bad luck, I don't know. But for afternoon experiences, Sanado has similar prices while offering a better experience and a flat 20% discount.

The long version is as follows.

To get to Familia Nobre, take the shuttle bus to the Wynn and walk towards Starworld. Walk down a bit and you'll hit a large street with a huge island in the middle. Turn right and keep walking until you see the China Civil Plaza building on your right. Go through the doors and take the stairs straight up to the 2nd floor to Familia Nobre. If you're taking a taxi, tell the driver "how moon" (Cantonese) or "hao men" (Mandarin).

It's the standard fare when you enter. A male attendant greeted me, showed me to a locker, and helped me change into a towel. Then I walked down the changing room by myself and found the pool area and shower area. I went at 11:30 AM and the place was barren. So I showered by myself and changed into a robe by myself. Not a soul in sight. Then I found my way into the main lounge area. It's quite spacious and comparable to 18. The decor is nice but nothing to rave about. I found a chair by myself and looked at the menu for a bit. I was expecting someone to tend to me but no one came over. After 15 minutes of just sitting there doing nothing, I saw a manager and waved him over to ask about the prices.

The menu is rather complicated and I can't remember everything, but here's the important stuff. The girls start from 1700 and go up to 2200 depending on nationality and model status. A threesome option is available for 2500 for 90 minutes. The Familia Nobre style massage is 1100, for 90 minutes and 2 pops, and the manager chooses the girl for you, usually a Vietnamese girl. Monday to Thursday, if you get a regular 1700 girl and pay an extra 300, you also get a back cleaning. 90 minutes of Shanghai (no sex) massage, and a 20-minute massage service (shoulders, foot, thigh, etc.) of your choice. Some food is free, others cost money. Alcohol costs money too.

Here's the thing. At Familia Nobre, the girls don't show up until 1:00 PM. And that's all the girls. So basically the only people who will be there before 1 PM are the attendants and cleaning staff. In fact, they were actually vacuuming while I was there so it was pretty noisy for awhile. The only thing to do before 1:00 PM is pretty much just watch TV or eat food. So I went to the eating area and got some food, which was actually pretty good, especially the soup. I went back to my chair and flipped through a magazine and watched TV to kill the time. But nothing happened. 1:00 PM came and nothing. 1:30, nothing. 2:00, still nothing. WTF? The only girl I saw was this middle aged woman who asked me if I wanted a thigh massage, but with her looks I'the rather just jerk it myself.

By now I've been there for 3 hours and absolutely nothing has happened except for me eating some food. The place was just barren. I'm sure I would see some girls if I asked for a lineup since it was way past 1 PM, but I kind of want to check out the talent for a bit first. At other places it's easy to see girls walk around when escorting their customers out. Or at the very least have some attractive service girls for a thigh massage or something. But no, nothing. I seriously thought about just paying the basic sauna fee and hitting up the new Sanado. Fortunately, just as I was about to throw in my towel and leave, a guy next to me asked for a lineup.

About 10 girls came, all Chinese, all busty. Previous reports have stated that big boobs are the trademark of Familia Nobre and this was quite true. None of the girls were smaller than a D, I would say. Very nice. And all were tall and slim. Faces were above average, with 1 or 2 being very attractive. So at least the talent was good.

I was actually quite impressed by the lineup so I decided to take a risk and have the manager choose a girl for me. Cheaper, more time, and 2 pops. Why not? I followed an attendant down the hall past the food area, and let me tell you that this is where the sauna gets huge. Room after room after room on both sides of the hall. Make a turn, and again just room after room after room. The sheer size was unbelievable. I guarantee you the rooms were outnumbering the lounge chairs by at least 5 to 1. It's that crazy. Have no idea why they need so many.

Anyways, the room I went to was a small one with a single-sized bed and no shower. Apparently, you only get the nicer rooms when you get a regular girl and up, not the house special. But it's not a problem. The room was clean and big enough for the deed. The girl was already in the room when I showed up. She was this young Vietnamese girl, early 20s, cute face, medium height, medium weight, a little extra padding on the stomach but a huge natural rack. Very nice. The first 30 minutes is a regular massage, which was pretty good, and then after that is 60 minutes of sex with 2 pops. No shower, but there is a wipe down with a wet towel. The details are more or less the same, so I'll just note that there was no kissing, GFE was alright, sex was a bit mechanical but she wasn't a dead fish. Overall, I'the say face = 7, body = 8, service = 8, value = 9.

Afterwards, I walked back out by myself, had some more food, and then showered and left. Total damage was 1098 as the only thing I got was the Familia Nobre style massage. My experience started out quite poor but the quality and value of the girls made a huge redemption in the end. I'the give Familia Nobre a 7 out of 10.

Here's the thing. I know that the afternoon isn't the best time to judge a sauna, but I just felt very unattended to during my entire stay. Whereas some places have girls always pestering you for services, this place pretty much just leave you to your own doing. That might be fine if things were happening for other people and you got to see girls come and go, but it was just dead and quite literally nothing happened for the longest time. Compare this to Sanado. I also went in the afternoon, and a female attendant helped me change, walked me to the shower, a girl helped me shower and gave me a BBBJ, helped me change into a robe, and then lead me to the lounge area. The attendants there asked me if I wanted food or drink, some service girls came to see if I wanted massages, and the manager came over to let me know that I could see girls whenever I want. And even though were only 5 other guys at the time, I would see model girls walking around every now and then and about 3-4 service girls just hung out in the lounge area talking to customers even though no one was getting services. I think that makes for a much better sauna experience overall. And of course there's the famed 20% discount at Sanado.

But I will give Familia Nobre the upper hand in quality of the girls. Their girls, even the few that they had in the afternoon, were solid 8s across the board. And they were all busty, which I particularly love. And I was very satisfied with the quality of the randomly selected girl. Familia Nobre also has more options like the threesome, which I was keen to try if I had been in a better mood.

In the end, I think Familia Nobre would be a great choice for the evening when things really get kicking, especially considering the quality of their girls, but for a casual afternoon I would not recommend this place at all. Best to stick to Sanado while the sun is still up.

Last I heard, the place was heavily under construction, which was my primary reason for not having been there lately. Was that still the case when you went?
