I am planning to meet one of my contacts this weekend. And would like to know about the hotel scene in Kochi. I have mongered in Bangalore and Hyderabad and didn't face any issues from Hotels or their staff.

This is the first time I am venturing into Kochi. Are hotels like Goluklam near kaloor safe? Or should I look for a more premium-like Radisson? Have anyone faced any challenges? It is the first time I am meeting this girl and I would like to be cautious from both sides.

If anyone could suggest better places, kindly do.

Tried NewLife Spa in capital city again. Was presented with a 2 therapists. One thin with long hair, and another plump with short boy-cut hair. Typically most of the star properties and usually the upper class hotels wouldn't care as long both of the people have valid IDs and the room is for double occupancy. It is the cheaper ones where the reception in charge gets judgmental.

I used SP Grand quite a bit during my initial days of mongering in TVM. It was a convenient though old place. But lately they seem to have updated their guest policy. They don't seem to be couple friendly anymore and does not allow unmarried couples or local IDs.

So, do check with the hotel before booking.
