The Shit has hit the fan!
i've been living in shanghai for 5 years and i have never seen crack down like this before. barber shops within middle ring have all closed down, even the tucked away ones where i keep in my own little black book that has not had its street names reveled on public posts has been shut down. it really started about a week ago where i noticed there is a cop at every intersection in all main streets, so i called up my police friend and asked whats going on. he told me they just went into overdrive in preparation for the expo. pretty much means they're actually enforcing the stuff that usually gets the blind eye.
just last night i got hit with the breathalyzer on yan an rd. and im sure the ppl that lived in shanghai for some years can agree with me, there are cops everywhere. i was amazed today as i saw the street corner cops outside of middle ring pulling over people moped and confirep001ing it with a truck due to whatever reason.
i, personally will not be mongering in the up coming months, as im sure suana will be next on the list. i recommend going as far as you can from the middle of the city if you want to release some loads. its gonna be dryyy this summer. very very dry.
if you get caught in raid, your work visa gets revoked, company contacted, resulting in deportation and ridiculous fines over 20,000usd just to get out of jail.
i think im gonna move to another city until after the expo...
Laying Low During Expo....
.... My information is that the crackdown will start in april and a lot of girls will just stop working in April, too afraid. If you don't want to be dry, just get lot of phone numbers as the girls will be much more available out of Sauna! Still wanting some business, in a safe place.
Excellent advice, Sixty Cent. You can be certain the Chinese government isn't about to allow foreign reporters to advertise the monger tourism trade during the largest EXPO in world history. It just wouldn't look good to allow 100 foreigners to be seen standing in line outside our favorite saunas. In China, its all about image, and that won't fly. I imagine a shutdown of our favorite places would not be initiated by law enforcement, but by the venues themselves to assure future operations after the Expo.
I personally will stay away from all streetside BBS vendors during the expos. Having a few phone numbers in reserve from sauna dolls for hotel delivery sounds like an excellent plan. And I image that Malones/Manhattan/Judys will be doing record business since freely-negotiated takeout is very difficult to control. Start getting 'dem phone numbers now, but be discreet with those you share them with.
Happy hunting.
