There is not much to do here and one cannot walk around, poor infra no pavement bad traffic and sickening pollution levels, so mongering is one big reason why we arrive in this heavenly city. I say if you want to be swiping right cities like Baku Almaty are better options, IMHO. Have fun.

I have not stayed at this particular Movenpick but from other Movenpick I have stayed, they would always outperform Luminor.

I don't think I would stay at Luminor simply because of the traffic and wait times to get a grab. On occasions, I had wait for 30+ minutes for the Grab. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice hotel and next to Emporium if that's your main attraction in mind.

You'll be hit with fees and surcharges of a couple of percent and if you don't select the right currency option (always choose the local currency and not your home currency), there's the potential to be hit with more fees there.

Central felt more like a mongering touristy destination. Expecting some great places in south where middle and upper class locals make fun. Always wish to stay there and explore the financial hub area near south. Restricted travel times always permit to take chances. Adventurous mongers with long stays can explore the destination south.
