Thanks so much for the many barfine and general payment answers, guys.
I am on the right track and not screwing it for others. , I did take out 4 girls for lunch and a movie yesterday after partying the night before. I didn't pay them anything for the afternoon but a couple of them saw something in the mall for under 500 baht that they were going to pay on their own. Given the price I stepped up and bought it for them. Felt it was the least I could do.
First off. Thank you Haven123 for defending me and being able to read for comprehension. That's not the first time Breadman misunderstood what was written. And I am sure it won't be the last. And for the record, one of the girls that told me about the arrests on the beach made the wrist together gesture (in my country that means cuffed), I just leaned in Thailand it simply means arrested.
I did some quick math and I have had 16 girls so far this trip and my average price is 800 baht. I don't have a problem paying 1000 baht or even 1200 bath, but if it comes with a lousy attitude, I will pass every time. That kind of issue doesn't go away quickly nor easily. I don't put up with girls that have bitchy attitudes, not here, not in my country, not anywhere.
So, went back to the scene of the crime and had a beer (60 baht, hardly over priced), and it comes with a great view. Saw the grouchy spinner, but today she was with her coworkers and sporting a smile. After my second beer a very physically fit young girl shows up on the back of her boyfriends bike. He drops her off and he splits. She orders her dinner and crosses the road and begins to enjoy when the police roll up and question her. She told me the police threatened to give her a 2000 baht fine if she didn't move.
So I talked to the young athlete a while and she had that look in her eyes and that giggle in her laugh. Eye contact, body posture, tone in her voice, all the right facial expressions, Houston, We Are Go For Launch! She quoted 800 baht and I didn't think twice. Worked out the deal and off we went. And her great attitude carried over into the room. Another super star performer, good time had by all. Gave her the 800 and I asked where could I drop her, she said her boyfriend was going to pick her up. Score!
Went back to my new hang out and ordered a beer. Then another. Two beers, 120 baht and 40 baht in tips. It's 1:30 am or so, time to hit walking street. Went into that first bar that has local bands playing. I kind of enjoy the North East Music. Had a drink. Not two minutes there two girls where smiling at me and touching and dancing around me. I spoke with them for a few minutes and moved to a different location. Same Same, not two minutes at the new location and a table of three girls where looking and smiling and dancing about. The thinnest one with a nice ass was all over me. We laughed and danced a bit. But I wanted to see the Band, so I relocated again. This time it took about 25 minutes before a girl in front of me saw me and started rubbing up against me. We danced and danced and I ordered us a beer. We danced and danced, quite the workout. We closed the place. She followed me outside and it was obvious she wanted to go with me. I wasn't feeling it so I stuffed a few baht in her pocket and said good night. I know, I'm a bastard.
Walked over to my bike and cruised around a bit and ran into a cutie walking about. Imagine that, meeting a girl at 4 am on the streets of Pattaya, what are the odds? Yes, that is sarcasm, no need to answer that question. I quoted her and she said 500 baht. Bingo! Went to the room and I got in the shower and she followed me in. She began to was me. It was kind of nice having a cute young girl soaping me up. And soaping and soaping. I have been on a roll the last week or so. I have had back to back great times. Usually one gets off track and either goes starfish or turns out to be a time keeper or doesn't have any skills. Let the good times roll! Well, this poor thing was obviously struggling with the ponding and she was a trooper. I was in rare form. After, I paid her the 500 baht and I gave her a 300 baht tip. She deserved it. Her face lit up and her already big smile warmed up a tad. Dropped her and went to bed about 6:30 am. Welcome to Pattaya!

Fyi, I will be staying at VT 6 and traveling solo, so re freelancers any suggestions overall . I will definitely ask the VT 6 front desk to check and hold their ID's. It's been nearly 15 years since I was in Thailand or Asia last. I've been to Thailand many times over the years though, but alas for only for work, with jam packed Asia trips as I managed a global businesses for Fortune 50 corporations.

You may also want to take a look into Red Car disco on WS. Though pickings have been slim there last few trips. I keep hoping the place will make a comeback as I have had great times there in the past.
A lot of girls walking up and down WS are approachable and many are not hardcore hookers but tourists up from BKK etc. So don't be shy and stop one and say Hello,. You may just hit it off.

Had the occasion last year to be in town for a night or two on separate occasions. Was shocked at the transformation on Walking St with the FL scene. Back when I was a regular almost every gal on WS after dark was on the game. Especially after the bars closed you would be approached by countless gals saying, "Go with you?" Not a single gal approached me on my trips last year and the ones I approached seemed like they would rather go drinking with their friends.
I used to like the discos as well, but found them populated by a demographics that I really don't enjoy being around that much.
But I did really like Kinnaree and the like a lot. Soi 6 was still fun as well. But overall I was a disappointed.

Sorry if my reading comprehension is a bit off, but I am not sure what place you are referring to when you say "scene of the crime". I even looked at some of your earlier post but am still cluless.

.[/QUOTE]Good point. My first trip was in 2008 and almost all the FLs I took (including my first ever Pattaya girl) were girls I met standing around or walking on WS. I paid 1 K LT (an overpayng noob) and they were all GFEs, staying with me well into the next day. I only sent foot into a disco once and left after about 5 minutes. I did not see the point of putting up with that BS with all the lovelies available on the street.
Yes times have indeed changed for the worse! It's no longer the turkey shoot it once was. Some obvious hookers that stand around won't even talk to a falang anymore (I am thinking of the cuties that stand outside Lucifer -- some may be post op LBs anyway).
With a little effort you can still make it work. Not so many girls are asking "go with you" outright. But plenty are still giving the inviting smile. Why not talk to them? What's the worst that can happen? A polite shoot down? Thai girls won't try to humiliate you like Western be*s (this is not their culture).

Women are everywhere here. Not just a particular street or disco. Just walk outside and talk to one and exchange info or whatever. Nowadays I do more of that and less going out late. They have a security guy but I don't think he is a babysitter for hookers' IDs. Uncle V, you stay there don't you?

[/QUOTE]I can't attest to what she was threatened with, but the fine they pay for loitering is 100 baht when they are taken to the police station. That is why it is not much of a deterrent and they keep going back.
Hello all. New to this portion of the site. Planning on my first trip to Thailand this Fall or Late Summer, 2016. Open to dates between July or August through September or early October. Does anyone here have plans to go during that time? A little concerned about going alone. Not familiar with the area at all. However, I was planning to go last year, but plans fell through. Feel free to respond or write back on the private message if you are thinking of going.

In the Pattaya area there are about 85,000 expats, from mainly Northern Europe. I have lived here the last few years, feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Usually they will call the girl over to their security desk when entering the building.

[/QUOTE]When I rent an apartment from a private owner in Pattaya Hill Resort Condo the security always take the girl's ID, register her on a book and she have to sign the book for have back her ID.
