Wow, are you serious that you have never taken a bus in Panama? I am an America, white as you can get, and I have taken so many buses I have lost count. Most people are overly paranoid when it comes to Panama. As with anyplace, keep your wits about you, and don't do anything too stupid, but for the most part the Panamanian people aren't waiting in the woodwork to rob every foreigner they encounter.

But I do understand your point. I'm American for over 300 years and we're actually stupid-ass people when it comes to traveling beyond our borders. Even worse when it involves Latin America. This is my way to give back to the community. Your reports helped me a lot and I hope mine will help others.

Day 1

I arrived in Panama city late at night, checked in at the Las Vegas hotel and tried to sleep. After lying in bed for 1/2 hour, I decide that I would not be able to sleep right away and went for a small walk. First I went to the Venito and it was absolutely dead (granted it was monday night). I only stayed about 10 mins since I don't gamble much and didn't really fancy a beer at that point. After I got out of the casino and walked a little, I was approached by a guy who told me about the Oasis right next door. I had already read about it on this site so I decided to take a look even though I felt too tired for bedroom gymnastic at that time. Day 3

Latina non-pros in Cd. Panama are very friendly and pretty easy. For locals, it makes no sense to buy a pro. For tourists the prices of $100 are ridiculous.

If you want to pick-up a Colombiana hooker not at work then go to the Rey Supermarket on Via Espana near Veneto across the street from Plaza Concordia. Those hookers shop there in search of neighborhood residents and they usually go in groups of 2 or 4.

I agree with you on Cd. Panama mongering not being that great. All the hookers are from Colombia quoting $100 or more, so it's just best to go to Colombia. Go right to the source.
