No 1500-2000 is not appropriate for ST IMO. Perhaps back when ST meant she stays until you tell her to leave as long as you let her go early enough to get a taxi home or to get home safely, that would have been reasonable. Now ST is generally one shot and many girls who want as many ST customers as possible want you to be done in 15-20 minutes. Here's another way to look at it, compare the 1500-2000 you pay for ST to the 300-700 my friend pays for ST for girls at massage parlors who to his tastes are just as attractive as go-go girls. He's also not getting the rush job that many ST go-go customers get because when he goes to a massage place to fuck if it does happen it happens within the first 15 minutes giving him 45 minutes to do the deed, it's not happening and just enjoys the massage. For those of you in disbelief, he reported to me that all of his Thai friends (he is a black guy) get the same prices.

I've also become disciplined enough that most times I can walk away if I don't get the price I want. Hot is also pretty subjective.

You also have to keep in mind that even at the most popular places not everyone is constantly or even regularly bar fined. Der Tourist mentioned a couple of girls who seemed to always get bar fined early by Japanese guys. Yes, these types may be hard to negotiate with (unless you catch them on a night when they want something different) but the overly in demand girls can also tend to be the worst performers because many men fuck them for their looks and not their performance.

Here's some food for thought. If every man who went to Soi Cowboy and Nana agreed to offer and only pay 200 BF + 700 ST and 400 BF + 1200 LT, how long do you think it would take the women to adjust to the prices. I would guess one week because for many of them it is their job, not just a way to supplement income, and making 700-2000 / day is still better than they would get otherwise. The women quote the prices they quote because history has shown that they can find men willing to pay those prices. Guys like me pay less because we are willing to walk away, are more conscious about the money and perhaps are able to, on some subconscious level, spot the ones who are willing to negotiate.

I once met a guy who be it a go-go, beer bar or night club has no problem getting women for free or rock bottom prices (read as enough to send home or buy food for a few days). His secret was that not only did he speak Thai very well, but he understood how to make himself more appealing to Thai women. He was able to joke with them, in Thai, and quickly build up attraction and rapport. He also had the uncanny ability to recognize who was into him or just fun to be around and who was a clinger on. He could also get the ones who were just fun to talk him up to the ones who were interested which he said helped make things much easier. Dude even got me laid and when I asked the girl how much the next day all she said was can we go get a massage.

Many of the strategies that work for me and other guys to get great deals do not work in high volume places. However, the inefficacy of the strategy has more to do with the attitudes of the women than it does the low prices that result from the strategy. There are tons of hot chicks working at bars and go-gos who would happily fuck the same guy every night for a week if all he did was pay the bar fine, her rent for the month and give some money for food because it gives her the sense of consistency and being taken care of that many women want. On the flip side, there are women who just want money money money and for them they will only go with the highest paying customer who makes them work the least.

The former will not care much if spending 1000 or 2000. Terminal 21 smokes away any of the shitty, overpriced malls in Hong Kong (which is a place where NOTHING is a value, clothing is triple the cost it should be). Nice to get some decent food, too. (Is there any cuisine, outside of dimsum, that the Cantonese have not fucked up?) And while I'm ripping on the Chinese brothers, I've got to say the mainlanders are totally making the HKG-BKK Emirates flight a fucking bloody hell. One porkbellied, Mao-haired twywatface kept invading my personal space. Imagine the smell of rotted Hickory Farms sausage and you could imagine what I had to deal with. And the lineup to board, gawd, it was as if those fuckers had all licked ashtrays before hopping in the queue. I used to be very tolerant of those people, now they are cementing a position as the most awful travelers on the planet. Thanks for that, guys. Let's just hope they're not clogging the gogos.

Aw, and forgot to report on what I did after leaving the Dollhouse emptyhanded last night. I got as far as one of the makeshift bars right at the corner where you cross the street to head to Nana.
