Whatever happened to this investigation?
Remember this waste of time and tax-payer's money?
Apparently, none of the "sharp as a tack genius" Repubs in the Senate can cobble together so much as one iota of evidence that President Joe Biden was ever "brain dead", didn't know who he was, didn't know what he was doing, didn't know what he was saying, couldn't walk, couldn't talk or any of the other bullshit Trump and all the other MAGALoons threw around about him.
Not one iota.
Seems to me that would be a pretty damn easy thing to prove within about 15 minutes, much less 3 whole months.
Republicans uncover no new intel on Biden during hearing on his cognitive abilities in office.

Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. A total bust.
Even the money-grab books written about it have not cited one conclusive bit of evidence for the claim beyond a single moment in a debate where Biden's lifelong stutter issue manifested itself quite normally for a man of advanced age with that particular verbal tick when he transposed a couple of words at the end of a sentence.
Meanwhile, a review of that debate today would remind us that Biden understood every nuance, detail and subtext of every question and answered each one with intelligence and purpose while Trump obviously had no idea what the topic of most questions was and resorted to clumsily answering several of them with the same response having nothing to do with the question at all. Lolol.
I guarantee you at this very moment Joe Biden knows who pays tariff taxes on imports to the USA, which makes him more intelligent, lucid, cognitively capable and fit to serve as POTUS right now than Trump, every elected Repub and anyone else who did not vote for Kamala Harris in 2024.

Trump goes to War Against America. Again.
For the 2nd time Donald J. Trump has gone to War Against America on American Soil based on one of his now 35,000+ lies.
The first time was based on his lie about the 2020 election being stolen from him. It wasn't.
This latest Trump's War Against America is based on his lie that the Nation's Capitol is rampant with crime. It isn't. In fact, crime is down in the City, has been declining since crime began to spike up dramatically under Trump during his previous term as has crime all around the country and the City is now not even in the top 20-25 most "crime-ridden" cities in the country.
Trump simply loves War.
Trump loves taking America to War.
Trump loves keeping America involved in Wars, as he did for every hour of every day of his previous term with the War in Afghanistan.
This is another unnecessary Trump War.
It should never have happened.
It wouldn't have happened if Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris or any other Dem had been President.
This is Trump's War Against America, not theirs. Actually, it's his 2nd War Against America.
'This Will Go Further: Trump Puts D.C. Police Under Federal Control and Deploys National Guard, Warns Other Cities May Be Next.
Trump's deployment of the National Guard in Washington, D.C. is a rare use of military forces on U.S. soil and a potential violation of the Posse Comitatus Act that restricts the military from being used as a police force for domestic law enforcement. During racial justice protests in June 2020, Trump sent uniformed National Guard troops to Lafayette Park in front of the White House to help clear the park of protestors. Earlier this summer, Trump ordered nearly 5,000 National Guard troops to the Los Angeles area to quell immigration protests and protect federal agents.
Data show that violent crime in the nations capital is down significantly from a peak in 2023. But Trump paints a different picture. Trump described Washington as one of the most dangerous cities anywhere in the World in a post on Truth Social Saturday. On Sunday, Trump wrote, Im going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before. The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital.
The Dis-United States of America knows how to build infrastructure.

Individuals need to brush up on their history. This idea the USGOV cannot do anything is being pushed by the MAGAs who lack of intelligence. They are parroting the far right hate speech funded by Billionaires. The Billionaires want to sow discontent and disunity among my fellow citizens in order to place them deeper economic servitude and control than they already are.

On record as a staunch Matt Gaetz sympathizer, ring any bellls?
So, you don't have a problem with Trump dispatching the number 2 official from the DOJ to coddle a convicted sex trafficker of teenage girls who also raped them with Epstein? Yeah, lets send her to more upscale "prison" in Texas to make life easier for her while you ponder giving her a pardon.
Stop this cover-up!
Of course, Elvis 2008, has no problem with the MAGA Fuhrer's puppeted DOJ, coddling up to pedo child sex offenders, since he's on record, staunchly sympathizing and defending the "alleged" pedo sex offender, Matt Gaetz, who ran and hid, from the House Ethics Committee, that assuredly no doubt would have led to a proper 2nd DOJ investigation, into his criminal sex trafficking activities.
And BTW, don't get him started, on his defense of MAGA Sec.Def. Pete Hegseth, as yet another idiot drunk, misogynist white supremacist DEI hire and drunk rapist, hiding behind a paid hush money NDA, of his tortured rape victim.
PS: The MAGA Fuhrer's DOJ, is now ferociously (no doubt), looking for a legal loophole, to "pardon" said child sex trafficker (Ghislaine Maxwell), that was just sent to that upscale "prison" in Texas.
Fun Fact: Ghislaine Maxwell's father and Trump in the 1980s, were business acquaintances and rivals. Russia Russia Russia is always always always on Trump's mind. Such that he has one.
Trump said it not once but twice.
Sure, if Biden ever said that once or even just started to say "Russ" before immediately correcting it, the typically pro Repub Mainstream Media would have again terrified Dem political campaign donors into pulling all donations from the Democratic Party campaigns. And Fux News would be demanding Biden resign and take Harris with him so ChristoFascist Mike can take over due to Biden being so obviously incapable of handling a meeting with Putin. LOL.
But as long as it is seriously cognitively incapacitated Repub Donald Trump, that one and a thousand others even worse from Trump that Biden has never ever ever exhibited are just shrugged off and forgiven. Lolol.
They are really looking forward to more horrific Repub-generated headlines about the economy and national security to sell over the next few years.

Electrostate vs. Petrostate: Nepalese Conviction vs. American Backsliding Hubris?
And here we go again. You think the California high speed rail program and Biden's electric gas station program was money well spent.
Perhaps you did not read where I mentioned, the reason the Nepalese are so successful at reaching an EV penetration, essentially from 0% to 76% passenger and 50% light commercial vehicles, in less than 5 years, largely comes down to their "conviction" and "will power" from the coordinating gov't, business and municipal regulatory agencies involved, due to geo-eco-political outside forces, mainly from a "petrostate bully" in their 2015 fuel dispute/crisis with India.
The California High Speed Rail (California HSR or CHSR) project is certainly an interesting case study. As far as the CHSR project goes, IMHO, is like what's happening in many places around the world, when it comes to deciding are these large scales projects worth it?
Look no further, than the gov't and energy industry's "granddaddy of all boondoggles", ...building large scale nuclear power plants and SMRs. I'm sure you'll see, the many parallels that exist between the two large scale projects, and yet nuclear power plants, despite many of its well know (and documented) follies, still get built, as a necessary evil, so to speak.
In the end, are these large scale projects and their inevitable cost overruns, right-of-way, regulatory hurdles, time, energy and political capital to fight with gov't/state/municipal and local regulatory governing bodies and NIMBYism, ...does still make it, WORTH IT to build?
Now it would be unfair to compare China's HSR program to that of U.S.'s HSR. So I won't, 'cause we all know how that comparison would go.
But perhaps, Elvis 2008, you should ask yourself, "Why the Texas HSR project, is heading down the same boondoggle road as CHSR?" You'd have thought they'd learnt from CHSR?
With the Texas HSR budgets ballooning from $10 billion to $41 billion (and no longer seen as just a "private" endeavor), with very little headway made, w/r to regulatory hurdles and right-of-way secured (just like CHSR), is this yet another example that America should REALLY JUST leave HSR, to those that can build HSR systems, at $17 - $21 million/km vs. $178 million/km (in California/ Texas)?
Trump officials cut planning grant for Texas high-speed rail between Dallas and Houston
https://www.texastribune.org/2025/04/14/texas-high-speed-rail-planning-grant-cut/
So without the type of "Nepalese conviction" that I spoke of earlier, under your Fuhrer's "drill-baby-drill" and "do nothing" administration, ya think Texas's HSR $40+ billion (and climbing) dollar project, will be money will spent?
P.S. The California HSR project, also has the unfortunate specter, of being built mostly during the years of your MAGA Fuhrer's regime.
Nepalese believe in their government! My fellow citizens do not!
Like the elephant that sits in the room you consistently fail to address that the sun does not always shine nor the wind always blow. There for you need a base input into the grid of 40% to keep it stable.
Comparing building a heavy rail project and an energy project of any type is a useless. There is hostility toward big government projects these days. Privatize everything and let business handle it. That is the mantra of the MAGA numbskulls.
What that simply means is the government is selling of its assets and forgoing a system where it can create those that I uniquely suited to the government. Governments and individuals are going into debt to the Rich and Super Rich.

Trump continues to publicly blow Putin, gets nothing for America.
Every time Trump lies about Russia Russia Russia being a "hoax" he adds to the only gift of something that actually belonged to America that any president has ever given Putin.
Neither Georgia, Crimea nor Ukraine was land that belonged to America before Putin invaded them.
However, America's credibility and standing as the premier intel source of the World, was something of real and tangible value that DID belong to America, hard fought and won over decades of blood, lives, sweat, tears and money spent to earn it.
Trump handed that to Putin on a silver platter in Helsinki 7 years ago. Publicly. Openly. Stupidly. Embarrassingly. In exchange for absolutely nothing for America. Maybe Trump got a vague private commitment from Putin to someday authorize putting the name "Trump" on the outside of a building in Moscow other people designed and built. Who knows.
But America got zero, zip, nada, nothing for it.
Trump only compounds that unrequited Love Gift to Putin every time he lies and refutes the overwhelming evidence gathered by those premier intel sources in the World, assessed and concluded to be anything but a "hoax" even by Repub-led Congressional Hearings that Putin / Russia wanted Trump to win the 2016 election and directed officials to the task of making that happen.
What the World witnessed today in Trump's continued public sucking, blowing, sucking, blowing, sucking and swallowing with a big gulp and a smile of Putin by Trump in this latest session tells us everything we need to know about why Putin would not have wanted to distract from that immeasurable win on the World stage during Trump's 1st term by invading another country and forcing Trump to stop sucking, blowing, sucking and swallowing with a smile long enough to think about it or choose a side.
