Dat is write Dum Fuk, in Merika we mak fun of every1. Tank you for de les son.
Ok, but I totally draw the line on color of ones skin, race etc. And also using foul language. Even for a word pun.
And, IMO, the US is the least racist and least overtly discrimatory country in the world, in terms of legal rights, housing, banking, loans, education, jobs, religion, skin color, race, service in public places such as restaurants, bars etc. Etc. But freedom of speech that does not impinge on the above is also a key constitutional protection.
To be very clear, you cannot do what some of the bars and discos do in Pattaya or Bangkok (such as barring entry to certain people based on skin color) because they would have been shut down, sued etc. In the USA and they would have gone bankrupt. Unlike many other countries in the world, including some in Europe and many in Asia.

I do not want to force my way into some private venue where I am not really welcome. When in a foreign land, I feel I will have to earn my welcome, and if someone don't like me, I will just have to live with it.
And by the way, if you are going to lecture us any further perhaps you can explain the meaning of "discrimatory"?

GE.

GE.
Well, actually I have visited (but not lived) each of the countries you mentioned more than a few times, each. Norway only for business. But the others for both business and pleasure.
Without question, I believe the USA is far ahead legally and with respect to jobs (both middle management and upper management) and other legal protections on each of the dimensions I mentioned.
But, this is only my opinion. If you believe that's not true then I respect your opinion.

And I am definitely not lecturing anyone. My apologies if you felt that way.
I get it now. I was being naive to see what's coming in front of me. But now I understand that there is no room for emotion while mongering. Today I spoke with her and the same story what Mr E mentioned happened. She wants 30,000 bahts per month to stop working and go back to her home in Laos so that she can support her family.
I understood my mongering lesson & I'm ending whatever was happening here. No more BS. Thanks all for your comments. Although I'll write reports of my experience with her.
Hey MusicalToM,
.
Didn't mean to be so negative or hard on you. In fact, it took me a while to write what I did because I didn't want to be so hard so don't beat yourself up. We are all different but more the same than we would like to admit. When it comes to emotions my biggest downfall is my mouth, my little head controls my emotions before and during the sex. The words " I love you " always seem to blur out just before I shoot, and thereafter I can't wait for her to leave or get out of there. Emotionally it hurts but like they say " time heals all " remember there is a different standard here for us Farang and for a Thai. In General a dead beat Thai man has to provide nothing except his penis and a few sweet words to them and the gates of heaven open up for them. Where for us we all seem rich although we are no different. But when on holiday, we drink 500 baht worth of coffee, spend 300 baht on each meal and then spend even a 1,000 baht a day for a room, 30,000 baht for airfare then tell them " you have no money " it just doesn't hold water. Her request is not unreasonable in my book because as I noted it is not about Love, it is about money first to take care of the only reason why she is in Pattaya selling herself to you and other men. It is not only the monthly income she is loosing, but loosing future earnings for a house, car, kids school, family get sick, they all will look at her because she is hooked up with you a (ATM), she becomes a extension of that ATM, she too is looked at one but refuse to admit it until she has had enough from her family. You will sit and think how do I refuse in a polite way and if and when you do no matter how much you have given they will call you cheap in Thai. Even a former MP official who since has been replaced said last year in the Bangkok Post to women in Isaan " if you want a better life marry a Farang. You are so early in this that the next time your dipstick checks another motor you will have forgotten it ever happened. Good luck.

I was in Angeles City over the weekend and met a chick who let me read her Whatsapp. One that stood out was from an Indian brother who had told the girl instead of keep sending her money, he has opened a bank account that he will deposit money into and will give her the ATM card when he arrives. He just does not want her in the streets anymore.
She told me that she has not asked anyone to send her money but guys like to do that. She said he can give her all the money he wants but she will still be out there or else she would get bored. This chick just turned 20 2 weeks ago. Now if he was trying this on a 36 year old he may have gotten a different result. She would have been happy to sit on her ass at home while enjoying his welfare plan.

I don't see any reason to play anyone's Jed Clampet. Once you go that way, there is no turning back. Many a farang has started out playing Mr. Moneybags and when that well runs dry and his girl shuns him, he takes the express elevator down from the 13th floor.

Now I just advise them not to give anymore then they can afford to do without because now I understand. His girl's different.

A older women who has been in the business for a while which I'm assuming in this particular case ask for a amount that would stop her from working. Now of course I'm not getting into whether this particular case she will or will not. We just got to take their word. But again I do not think what she is asking to be unreasonable but it doesn't just stop there. People write stories that they get calls that the roof needs this or that and then start to wonder? I give you 35,000 baht. What is going on getting all upset. Once you start it is tough if not impossible to go back even when it is a legit request.

If you find that refreshing, then you are a racist too. If that's the case, just say so and cut the BS.

If you find that refreshing, then you are a racist too.
Go ahead, if it makes you feel even gooder, SAY IT.
YES I believe in free speech, and the right for a disco or bar owner to keep certain groups out, heck, even countries to do the same.
As I said, I see no point in forcing me in where I am not welcome. And YES, I find that REFRESHING when someone, like Thais often do, stands their ground.
Now, can anyone point me to a good racist club that keeps liberals out?
