I'm new to the 141 scene. So I have a question. If I go to a 141 building and I knock on a door and the girl that opens up isn't what I was looking for, what do I do? I mean, is she gonna be pissed that I'm rejecting her? Because I'm pretty she would know what is going on (I don't find her attractive enough). I guess it's kind of a silly question, and maybe I'm just not good at rejecting women. But what should I say/do?

There's a number of different ways to monger, but my recent preference has been the bar scene, as opposed to the saunas, 141's, escort services, massage parlors, KTV's, etc. While having tried most of the different varieties of entertainment I guess that I tend to gravitate back to the bar/disco scene. In HK where I will likely visit more than other Asian cities in the near future, wondering what other top bars/disco's in HK that some of the members here will recommend.

As I'm travelling on business and staying typically is 4-5 star hotels, I've found good times in JJ's (Hyatt); Lobster Bar (Shangrila); Hari's (Holiday Inn). I'm still a relative newcomer (language is a problem) so the hotel bars are the easiest, although choice and variety is sometimes limited. There also ones you can easily go with business associates to find out their interests in co-mongering.

Wanchai bars are fun, and will need to do more exploring there, but not sure if they're appropriate to bring my associates until further assessment

Have read most reports very informative. Thank u. From the reports it suggests that if you go to one of the big saunas, eg 18 etc, you don't need a hotel room, could somebody clarify whether you actually get your own room for free there, because I don't fancy sleeping on a chair or a recliner, however comfy this is.

When you go all, you will have a hit list from the websites for a given building. In addition, there will be some girls with rooms on other websites (Chinese only) or that were once on website and now are not etc. As you walk around if you buzz and don't find what you want, ask about one on your list, they will sometimes shrug, other times say "holiday" (out) or give directions. Some girls will come out to talk to you even if you don't buzz - its just business for them. Also if you get in the room and are not sure about sex, you can ask to start with Massage only.

As far as I know, Hong Kong visa rules are unaffected by what the mainland Chinese are doing. But you are right about the hassle now of getting a Chinese visa. I just did a trip to HK and on to Shenzen (June 7-9). I am not sure what are the new headaches for business visa but while applying for a Chinese business visa in Los Angeles the counter girl changed the request to a Tourist visa, even though I had a letter from the Chinese company. Even though I did not understand at that time, looks like I lucked out.

On the P4P front I was in the Murphy's Bar (basement Imperial Hotel, Nathan Road) when about four Fillipinas dropped by my table. Well, to be honest they were after the hansum young German guy at the next table.:(

Anyway, struck up conversation with one of them named Sheila. Apparently they had paid a manager (?) 7K (HKD) for a two week run and they had to raise that much to pay him off. Now, fellow mongerers. Who would have thought that they would really come. In all the torrential rain with a Red alert nonetheless?

To make a long story short, paid them 150 HKD to leave after promising them I would call her (Sheila) in a couple of weeks when I return. Yes, I felt guilty having deprived them of some earnings.

Lessons learnt:
They always look georgeous when you are drunk.
Never underestimate them and so don't give out your room number.

I stayed at the Chunking Mansion a few months ago.

The postings about needing extra documents are correct. China gov wants proof of hotel booking and a return air ticket. I went to an agent who could arrange everything, including a hotel/air ticket that is conveniently cancelled after you enter China. I paid 1200 HK dollars but this was for TWO people, so about 600 HK dollars a piece. I got a receipt and returned the next day to collect my passport with new visa, no problems. I got a 3 month double entry visa, but I have to leave every 30 days. My visa will expire again very soon, I will be repeating the same process.

Considering the expensive nature of traveling in HK and the long lines to get a visa, it is best to have an agent do all the work.

If you get a single entry visa, the price will be lower than what I stated.

If anyone wants to know the name of the agent, please send me a PM.

Have been visiting Hk hundreds of times in past 20 year and have a set routine of scoring with an Indon who I know (if shes not theres always Plan B and C) and as she has to leave by 6pm then I have time to get to Laguna.

Hey, anyone who knows me that I am a sucker for sob stories. You missed my last line. "They look more beautiful, hell, even gorgeous when you are drunk." No, sir they weren't worth $400 USD for a couple of hours.

I'm based in Taipei and my company's secretary let my visa expire without warning me, so I now have to do that visa trip to Hong Kong on Friday. My company bought me this cheapest ticket they could find, as well, so I'm flying in at 9:00 AM and flying out at 8:00 PM.

What I'm hoping you guys can recommend is a sauna-type place where I can kill time. I sometimes go to the sauna on top of the AsiaWorld Dept. Store in Taipei and that's what I'd like. A place I could nap, lounge, soak in a hot tub, eat and get a good FS with a 7-9 type younger girl. I can pass for a Chinese and speak Mandy reasonably well, but no Cantonese, if that matters.
