On the ground again in standing on the outside of Rumba. The streets look empty this is my first Monday night. I don't think I'll be doing another Monday night. Ic approximately 8 girls and twenty three guys in front of me. This scene is not worth a picture. I hope the prices reflect the night.

Unfortunately many of these chicas and guys have been stuck on stupid. Chicas are asking for 2000P and many of the guys I have been talking to have been paying it. Not at all like it was in November and December.

This post by our fellow monger sounds very sincere and I back him on these issues from the experience's I am having right now in Sosua and on my earlier trips. Only after being with a chica a few times do you need to trust her. Never on the first fuck. My home town is no different than sosua when it comes to only dealing with one person for your left handed cigs even if you have to wait a few minutes to get your regular guy it is worth it.

If you then laid a finger on her (not necessarily roughly) she would have every right to charge you with assault (in Dominican law just as in American or European law). Whether she would get very far with that would depend on whether she has good relations with a cop and / or lawyer, but enough do have to make it not worth the risk.

In eight years (half of it living here full-time) I have never had anything stolen by a chica and I have never felt any inclination to frisk one. It all goes back to poor choice of chica in the first place.

I had stuff stolen by staff where I was living, and I have had a few disputes with chicas over payment (decreasing in frequency over the years as I learned the game). But they are different issues.

One mans lousy vacation / day / night does not set the tone for every other monger. And it surely doesn't mean a monger needs to go elsewhere. The last 3 vacations (Oct, Nov and Dec) , mostly were positive and very fulfilling. Take a guy like CubaDave. Because one of his prized mongering destinations is closed, he seems to be depressed or very disappointed in his last trip. So much so he left early. Whats he going to do, go back to Costa Rica because of that? Should any of us be thinking of going elsewhere because he or others had a bad trip or observed chicas asking for too much or offering poor service?

Another guy may go to Sosua and have a blast. One major factor that can make a difference, is timing. Another I think, is some people are spoiled, and can't seem to make an adjustment or adapt. So what, Monday may be dead. If it was me, I'd save some leche for another day. Or find something else to do with my time. I think enough guys that come to Sosua for vacation, rely too much on chicas from the clubs / bars. Maybe they have to because that is all they know, or thats all they have time for?

A dude can create options and opportunities if he is willing to go outside of his comfort zone. I'll be there next week, and I'm almost sure my mileage may differ than what some guys are reporting / observing. For one, I know about 6 sureshot chicas I can hook up with. I won't need to rely soley on the chicas on the strip to meet my needs. But even then, I'm sure I will indulge in a few on the strip during the time I'll be down there.

You put him in the clubs, and its out of his comfort zone. It would have to be really bad to cut mybtrip, short, though.

Not necessarily cash, but free drinks, meals and / or chicas. If he is on a tight budget that could make a difference. I have no evidence for that theory, but it seems strange that someone who knows Sosua well would insist on taking newbies to those venues. Other ex-pats and regular visitors I know, the more time they have spent in Sosua, the more they avoid such places, because they have learned they can get better value elesewhere.

Simple, one stop shopping, shooting fish in a barrel. Price is fixed. Rooms are right there. Convience store service and prices too. Some people do all their shopping at 7 11 s, and don't mind the limited selection and higher prices.
