Agree with all of this. And I would add that having a poor grasp of Portuguese isn't the hindrance it once was. Most Termas now allow clients to bring their cell phones into the club. You don't have to hide them anymore. With Google translate, having a conversation with a GDP who doesn't speak your language is much easier than it used to be. Yeah, it sucked when Help closed and the semi-pros are harder to find. But Brazil is still the best destination for our little hobby, imo. Next week I'll be taking my fifth trip this year.

How about one of you mongering gurus providing some details for a change? Maybe on how you learned Portuguese so well? Or, where specifically you have gone to meet women and your success stories with details.

I want to thank everyone for the latest posts. There are 9 of us arriving in Rio 11/1 and the posts the last few day are a great help. The others in my group will be expecting me to guide them. I doubt that I will be able to add new info after a 5 day visit but if I come across something interesting I will report it.

It seems some base their entire mongering experience on those places, the well beaten path for the point-and-click experience. Some of us are more adventurous and revel in walking into a dark compound and towards the glow of a fishbowl, like moths to a light. No risk, no reward.

Depending on your physical attractiveness, 32 is a very good age. A hot, 19 year old Brasileira is not going to have an issue going with a man in his thirties and even older. As a general rule, I found that if a Brazilian knew some English, she was curious about Western / American men. By the 2000's, I had much better success hooking up with Brazilian girls at clubs in Sao Paulo and secondary cities. Rio became a pain in the ass with non-pros because the gringo sex scene gave women seen with Western men a bad reputation.

I'm a bit too old to chase teenage and twentysomething non-pros now. I have to think that now that Help Disco and the whole Avenida Atlantica sex scene has basically been shutdown you can find non-pros more receptive to flirtation.

Reminds me of a time I was in St. Petersburg Russia at a well known disco free lancer hangout and it was not happening that night. I met a Finn who was visiting and he asked me if there were other places. I took him to a salon I knew of which was a typical SPB salon in an old building with a walk up to the 4th floor. The front door was slightly busted, the stairwells were unkempt, and on this occasion the entire stairwell lighting system was completely out, so it was pitch dark and I had to guide us up the stairs using my cell phone lantern. The Finn was pretty much in shock, he said to me "You Americans are frontier people", and it took me a while to understand he was saying "frontier", not "frontier". But it was worth it. After climbing the 4 flights we were ushered into the brilliantly like salon with about 15 girls waiting for us.

Maybe around 2010-2013 when Brazil Economy was good. But in 2018 with Brazil in Recession almost any girl is up for grabs unless she is a upper class rich Brazilian. Last Year I fucked a world famous Brazilian funk singer and I had her in my apartment for about 600 Reals for the night. The BBC did a documentary on her in 2015 when they were talking about the upcoming Brazilian Olympics. I had one of the girls in the 4 x 4 Termas hook me up with her and I gave her 150 Real as a tip for the setup meeting. I know you might say 600 Real is expensive but this girl was a true dime. I'm talking smoking 10. When she came to my apartment, The Whole Block was staring at her. But to make a long story short. It gave me a lot of confidence. I would suggest when trying to find non-pros, Either Learn Portuguese or hire a female and give her a nice tip and let her be your scout for you to find women. My Success Rate is a lot higher when I have a Brazilian female contact another female and setup a meeting for me. I Guess Brazilian women feel more comfortable and safer with another Brazilian women, Then when I'm trying to setup things as a gringo. I usually get more flakes, where as with a women its almost 90% success rate.

A lot of brazilians are having a toughtime financially and it is quite hard for young people to get a job these days, which makes non-pros very available. If approached via a brazilian friend. Chances are much lower on your own as must simply do not meet the ladies under the right circumstances and you will also need to speak portuguese to success on your own. It is all about making the ladies feel safe with you, I. E. Having a trusted intermediary and of course making it worth their while.

For most of my Rio career I have been a terma guy as it was easy and always plenty of choice, but these days I prefer to meet with a non-pro at my apartment and then have a full night with her. Dinner, movies and regular stuff as well. So pretty much a short time girlfriend rather than a 40 minute quickie at a terma.

Currently I have 4 ladies whom I see when in Rio. They are 19-22 years old, attractive and take great care of me. One hairdresser, one underemployed model (not famous, but still gorgeous), one unemployed and one babysitter. Payment varies from dining and wining only, to pay per play and in one case ad hoc financial assistance.

Aside from the financial aspects the ladies are also very keen on new experiences, being treated well and trying things they would otherwise not be able to do. I will give you two examples. During my last trip I invited one lady to a classical concert at Teatro Municipal. We dressed up nicely, went to the concert, had a post concert drink and then off to my place for the night. She was extatic about the whole experience and was very appreciative. Tickets were only R70 each for the good seats, so a pretty cheap night. For my upcoming trip I have promised one lady that we will go to a nice japanese restaurant in Zona Sul for dinner. She is from a poor part of Zona Norte and has never been to a nice restaurant. She is excited already also worried that she is not very chique. So I had to promise that I will order all the food and show her everything there (besides you do not want to let a brazilian lady choose your food). I plan to take her to buy a dress for the evening and I know I will be in heaven that night.

Treat your lady for the night like a girlfriend and make her feel special and you will be rewarded many times over.

These assholes (especially Americans) think every woman in Brasil is selling their pussy and is dying to hook up with a gringo. Quite, the opposite. Typically, when I go out I only speak Portuguese and I avoid Americans like the plague. When in actuality the majority of these women I meet & work with are usually doctors, lawyers, bankers, stockbrokers, IT types, engineers, scientists, accountants, Ph. The. University professors & MBA businesswomen working for Fortune 500 firms. Many have their own businesses and they're not just beauty & nail salons either. They drive BMWs, Benzes, Jeeps, & Land Rovers. Their homes are in the most exclusive gated communities (Alphaville, for example). Several have been educated at Stanford, MIT, UCLA, Oxford & the Sorbonne. Many attended the US schools on volleyball & football (soccer) athletic scholarships. On average they'll probably speak 2-3 different languages. Many are 2nd /3rd generation children of immigrants from Middle East & Europe. Which implies old money. They dress and look like super models. They travel to Europe, Africa, Asia & USA on business and for pleasure several times a year. Some are single moms, some are married (even have boy toys, usually their personal trainer or office husband). The hottest ones are 30-40 ish unmarried w / o kids. I'm guesstimating their average salaries are somewhere in the low mid 6 figures (US $ exchange rate). The only reason why I'd ever get to meet them is due to my firm's consulting services. Other than that they'd be way out of my league! Upside, I meet a rack of down to earth receptionists, analysts & accountants who are always looking to let off some steam at quitting time!
