There is one German language forum/directory that had all the ads scanned and posted on the website. I saw it when I clicked the links that Angus or somebody else posted about a week ago. Thanks for this valuable info Angus Magee! I've been doing a bit of research myself by phoning both PC-Berlin and King George and I think now I've made up my mind.

When I called PC-Berlin and asked the lady answering whether she spoke English, she replied annoyingly with "Nein, ciao!" and hung up the phone. When I called King George, the guy was very friendly and explained their price structure and opening times with decent English. There are lots of alternatives in Berlin-read the thread.

But to compare Artemis with a Russian bordello is like comparing, as they say, apples to oranges. It is a very different experience, cheaper yes, but not as much fun IMO.

There is also La Folie, an FKK-like (meaning it has similarities to an FKK but is really a bar) place in Charlottenberg, not far from Stuttgarter Platz. Entry is much less than Artemis (14 euros which includes a drink) and a 1/2 hr. session a bit more expensive. 70 Euros I think. And you may well be asked by the girls to buy them a drink.

There are many other bars but here you will be pestered endlessly to buy expensive champagne. It can get expensive in a roundabout sort of way and I personally much prefer paying up front the costs of an evening out.

As mentioned yesterday I wanted my 1000th post to be something other than the usual boring reply to an oft asked question. In fact I had in mind something different than this but realized last night that the piece I was (am) working on will not be in any shape to post any time soon. Plus it is a rather far reaching bit of writing with little (if any) relevance to the Berlin or FKK Artemis threads, my usual posting threads.

The following club list update is something I have been tinkering with over the past few weeks. It occurred to me that the last time I posted it was some time, a year and a half, back. It probably could do with an update and be bumped up closer to the front of the forum-easier then to reference it and post a link. I have been through it, made a few changes, updated links/phone numbers and even added a couple of places.

Keep in mind that this is by no means an exhaustive list. There are many places that may be worth a visit but are way too far out of my sphere of travel for me to recommend. Also some of what I have to say is more general impression than hard experience. When this is so, I say so. My impressions are from sources such as web presence, talking to others and reviews from the German forums. So unless I indicate that I have been there, take it for what it is worth-just an opinion. Also keep in mind that I do not so regularly visit these places any more. I tend to spend my Euros at FKK Artemis. But I think that many of my impressions are still relevant and certainly the address/website/phone#s will be of use to some.

In this first part I address the apartment bordellos. Later I will post, in this or another thread, massage, clubs/kinos and Artemis FKK.

Probably Berlin’s premier bordello. This is a well run establishment with a full line up of girls from part-timers to pros. It is unlikely that you will be disappointed here. The rooms are well decorated and very clean with the larger, more luxurious ones being reserved for 40 minute+ sessions.

The only possible drawback (for some) is that KD is a totally safe bordello. This means no bbbj here. While it may be off putting to some, I have always been okay with it. But then my reasons for visiting KD were always to see very specific girls who, in my opinion, offered me spectacular service.
While KD is expensive, for a Berlin bordello (160/hr.) I have always felt it was worth it. You can not guarantee here that girl will kiss you, but if she does it will be because she wants to and she will not try charging you extra. And the girls are always (IME) not clock watchers and my sessions have often gone slightly over time. That is, if the girl is enjoying herself you may well be in the room 15-20 minutes over. But do not take this for granted. I have always, it seems, chosen well and clicked with the girls.

So to sum up-KD gets my highest recommendation. It is well run, the girls are customer service oriented and English is generally spoken by the greeter girls. If you are here in Berlin for just a short time and want a safe session, this is the place to go.

As Royal was the first bordello I ever visited in Berlin it has always been one of my favorites. Similar in quality and price to KD, some people say that the girls are not as high quality. This may have been true at one point but these days I find that they are more or less of the same caliber. I have met a couple of real sweeties here and feel it is always worth a look. They also seem to have some part-timers who do not appear on the web site.

Like KD, the rooms here are very nice with big beds and well decorated interiors.

My only complaint about Royal is that they do not publish a schedule. But they will give you the daily line up with a phone call. It helps if you speak at least basic German as the phone girls do not generally speak very good English.

Many of the services at Royal are covered, though some girls offer oral without and even total (bbbjcim). But the extras are expensive and end up making the final cost of a visit quite high. e.g. an hour with kissing & bbbj (no cim) will run you 190 Euros 150+20+20. Yikes! This is expensive and can be had else where for much less cash.

So I do recommend Royal for its’ general ambience, and they do have some real beauties in the line up, but for your darker more porn-y sessions I say go else where.

Another Berlin institution and again similar in price to KD & Royal. VK has some beautiful girls but I have experienced there a bit of attitude and it is not my favorite place. Also it is really hard to get a good idea of the girls from the website as the pictures are obviously heavily photoshopped.

That being said, it is a quality bordello and probably worth a visit. They also publish an on line schedule but it is not in such detail. They are not so easy or enthusiastic about phone calls except to make an appointment and unfortunately I do not have the direct line number. Slightly lower in price that the above three, Monrouge is, in my opinion, a very good bordello. Many of the girls there are Bulgarian (though not all) and there are a couple of real beauties. The atmosphere here is a bit less lux but there is a bar area where, I believe, you can go (later in the evening) meet the girls before deciding. But you can also just go to a room and choose from the parade.

The website is in English and German but does not present too much information (prices, services offered by the individual girls, schedule, etc.). The girls here do offer “extras” for the usual prices. The rooms are a bit small but adequate.

One thing to note about Mon Rouge is the weekday day time special price. If you book a session, or arrive before, 16:00 on weekdays you pay 100 Euros for the hour, a saving of 30 Euros. The drawback is that the daytime line up tends to be quite a bit smaller than the nighttime so choice is limited.

Another thing Mon Rouge has in its’ favor is that, unlike many bordellos that close at 22:00, it is open late, past midnight.

Liberty is a mid priced bordello but it is a great place and has some very nice girls working. I have never been disappointed there and it is probably my all round favorite bordello.

Many services are offered (detailed on the website) but I find these services are a bit high in cost i.e. while the base price is a bit lower, the extras are higher that normal Berlin prices. So if you just go for a standard session you do alright. Ad on a couple of extras (kissing=20€!) and you session is soon pretty expensive.

The surroundings are nice but some of the upstairs rooms are a bit small for my liking. If you book a longer session (1hr. plus) they will generally take you to the lower level where the rooms are bigger and many include en-suite bath or shower.

The website is only in German but easily translated with the help of googletrans. Again, the number on the website will just get you to a recorded message but once you have the direct line (published above) they seem quite friendly on the phone and are willing to give you the information you want-if you can speak a bit of German that is.

As I mention above, Liberty is probably my over-all favorite Berlin bordello. It is luxurious, clean, the base price is good and the girls are very service oriented. While I have not clicked with every girl I have visited here, I have always received good, friendly service. They really do seem to want your repeat business.

I have visited here twice so I can only give very general impressions.

I like this place and it has the advantage of having a bar so you can visit with a buddy (I visited with Isseu from the forum) and have a beer before picking a girl and heading to the rooms.

The girls here are not all beauties and some tend to be a bit “rough”. That being said, L’Amour does seem to have a line on some real young (18+!!) Eastern European beauties. That is the girls on the web page tend to change more frequently than many places and sometimes a young woman will appear and stick around only for a month or so.

Now in fact I have never been here but it seems to be “the jewel in the crown” of what for a while was a growing Berlin bordello empire. The same owners had Müller II and another place in Friedenau whose name now escapes me. Never mind though as both the other places are now gone.

I was fairly regular at Müller II for a time and always found it to be a well run place with decent girls and a nice atmosphere. And the better girls seem to have found spots at Der Love Lounge so were it not so inconveniently located (for me) I would still check it out.

Prices are good and the girls perform well.

I have been here a few times and felt so-so about the place. It is inexpensive for the neighborhood but it is also very small. The rooms are just basic cubby holes with mattress. I guess you could call it cozy.

Tomsen’s line up undergoes frequent changes. For a while it seemed to be predominantly slightly older Thai women staffing the place. Then a couple of EE girls appeared and now it seems to be all EE-Hungarian, Latvian, Polish.

Tiffanies is another bordello that has been around for a while. It used to be located in the north and moved, a couple of years back, to its’ current Kreuzberg (near Kottbusser tor) location. By all accounts it is a good boredello. But for some inexplicable reason I have never been there.
In the past I found the website unpalatable-way to much photoshop. They have recently fixed this (still photoshop but the photos seem a wee bit more real) but I have never been. Sternchen looks to be a good place but in fact I have never really felt satisfied the three or four times I have been there over the years. It is another of those places where you wonder if the girls are really there of their own free will. They never seem too happy to me and this reflects in the service which tends to be lackluster. And another thing-the website has some tasty looking girls but they never seem to be there when I have been there. I wonder if the place is more alive in the evening. Some of the girls here also appear on the Frau Müller website and also they have a take-out, escort site. My impression is that it is a part of a large organization and that for me is not so attractive. Prices are low but again-you will pay for every extra.

In this type of place I find it best to go for the 20 minute price with no extras.

Also note, while the address is in Mitte, Sternchen is awfully close to U-Kotbusser Tor which is one of the “druggier” locations in Berlin. Walking up Adalberstr. late at night you best have your wits about you. What I am saying is this is one of the few areas in Berlin that I would be a bit cautious about late at night.

I am not sure of the pricing but I seem to remember that it was reasonable. Trouble is that the girls were very uninteresting. Girl’ Paradies has undergone a few management changes in the past years. I have visited twice, once some years back when it was called Michelles and once a couple of months back. Both times were unremarkable. Not bad, just unremarkable. The prices here are on the cheap side so for someone wanting an econo-session I would say it is worth a look. Desire 61 is a small bordello with inexpensive prices. It used to be in Templehof, disappeared for a time and then reopened this past winter in its’ present location. The selection of girls is always small (three girls) but in both its’ incarnations I have had some good sessions here. It all depends upon your liking and/or hitting it off with one of the girls.

I swear by Anastasia and have had multiple sessions with her. On the German forums Irene gets most of the good press with Sophia second. What ever your flavor this place is most definitely worth a visit.

The girls are either Ukrainian (Sophia) or Russian (Irene-I think-Anastasia) and for the money you pay, 50/half hour, you get pretty high milage. That is kissing and bbbj included, cim just 15 Euros more. You can not beat that in Berlin. Especially when you always seem to get enthusiastic service at Desire 61. At least I do.

Is there a downside to this? Well I have to mention that I do not feel 100% good about going to this place. The price is so cheap and I have a feeling that the girls do not receive a huge portion of the fee. It is, I think, one of those places that is just on the edge of being exploitive.

But I have been there. A few times…but not recently.

The other thing to mention is that it does not seem to be the most stable of places financially. That is I think it could disappear at any time, as it has once before already. So, especially if you are reading this a few months from now (Aug ‘09) I would call before dropping in to make sure that they are still open. The person who will answer the phone is male. He will also greet you if you go, speaks no English but is a very pleasant & helpful fellow.

Never been here. It is quite new-less than 6 mos.. It looks a nice place. When they opened prices were very high. That is they were on par with KD. But soon the reality of the economic climate, the out of the way location and perhaps the lack of an established name took hold and prices dropped to normal for Berlin.

That’s it for now gents. As I have said this is by no means a compete list of all bordellos in Berlin but I do think it covers a good portion. There are many smaller locations north, and in Neuköln, Templehof, Spandau & other districts that are way off my personal radar.
