The exchange rate yesterday topped 43-1 for the first time in years, come on now.

It's something you can expect to run into in a place like Sosua. Chicas come there with no rhyme or reason other than to make money and split. One weekend you could have a handful of stunners; the next weekend a handful of duds.
A group of stunners could hit Sosua with the goal of making X amount of money for tuition, a Samsung Galaxy, and some nice clothes for the semester. Once they achieve that goal, they may not return to Sosua until May.
Think of all the other scenarios:
-Sick family member.
-No food.
-Want to supplement the income she makes from her regular job.
-Was asked to tag along with her amiga / prima / tia. Decides "shit, while I'm here, why not (make some money)?" May not ever return to the P4P scene after that.

A friend a mine. 2nd time to Sosua in 2 years had to learn a lesson the hard way. A young, very fair skinned chica he met on the playa, stole some toothpaste the 2nd time he invited her to his spot for a ST romp.
He invited her a 3rd time for another ST romp, and this time she stole his $90 us bottle of cologne. It was in the bathroom. It made me shake my head. After the one theft why would he leave anything out for her to see? His answer was he thought she would only steal something that was personally valuable to her. He never thought about her taking it for herself, selling it or gifting it to someone else. That experience was his reinforcement for next time.
The chica is very short. Like 5'. Black hair. Goes by Mercedes

A lot of pretty girls with crazy bodies and shitty attitudes.

The premise is all wrong: if someone thinks that he is going to elevate a woman to a life of virtue and hence decides to send money, the person is either a die hard romantic or an idiot. If you realize you cannot save anyone or have rosy future expectations (least of all, of exclusivity), you are fine. Indeed in that case, you decide whether to, who to, when to, how many to and so forth. I have a feeling that people dread solitude so much that at a certain age, they get desperate and try to save. My eyes are not deceiving me. 1st thing in the morning fresh chicas are still in full effect walking around. I guess you have morning shift, afternoon shift, early evening shift, late night shift and late late night shifts. And I'm sure enough of these chicas work all of these shifts. One of my buddies was checking out and flying today, so a group of us took him to NG for breakfast. This is the friend that had his expensive bottle of cologne stolen from a chica he had 3 times this trip. He went over the details again at the table, telling us how he told her he was leaving the next day. And how she put on a Golden Globe performance acting like she was sad to see him go. I take that back, maybe she wasnt acting? After seeing how sloppy my buddy was, and him announcing his departure the next day, he probably did make her a little sad to see him go. He was an untapped resource for her. So much more shit she could pull on my buddy. He is an older dude.
Nevertheless, we told him he shouldn't have told her when he was leaving, and of course not securing his stuff. Meanwhile, my Galaxy phone chica was having breakfast in NG with her date from last night. I saw her uncomfortably cutting her eyes towards my direction to see if I spotted her. I certainly saw her, so I blew her a kiss as if to say, it's all good, you take care of your company. The reason why I'm mentioning this, is because prior to me coming back to the DR, this chica was sending me a shitload of syrupy shit on Whatsapp. Acting like I was supposed to be her new boyfriend/lover. I miss you, te amo, please buy me a Galaxy for my BD when you coming back, sexy pics, kisses, you name it she sent it on whatsapp.
So here we are not 48 hrs with her finally back in Sosua, and one session with me under her belt, and now my sexy chica is having breakfast with another guy. So for her to see me at breakfast with my friends while she is with her date, the chica must have felt a little uncomfortable. Mainly because it has not sunk in with her yet, that I am a secure monger and don't give a shit what the fuck she does on somebody elses time. Many of these chicas thrive on the hopes that the dudes they are charming are falling for the ton of shit they lay on them.
But when they get busted in their own deceptive game, they don't know how the target is going to take it. But I did school her on Whatsapp 2 weeks ago, that I am cool about her going to work, and that she doesn't have to play those persuasive games with me. About 20 minutes later while sitting at Rockys, she was passing by, came up to me to seek comfort that I was not mad at her or thought ill of her seeing her with her date. My embrace assured her that we were cool. She walked off merrily, probably looking for some morning work. She called later that night, but I wanted other juice.
Today was my date with the La Vega chica I met in Santiago at the restaurant. We agreed to meet at 2 at the same place. Chica was a little afraid of our meeting, because she didn't leave La Vega until she was sure I was really coming. Apparently she thought I might stand her up. I got there 1:45, and she got there about 2:40. Chica was smoking. Red hair, tight jean shorts cut off at the knee, and clear high heels. We had an appetizer since neither of us was hungry, and drinks.
My spanish was being put to the test. Now I'm in a non p4p situation and have to really communicate like a regular couple. Thanks to my limited spanish abilities (speaking and comprehension) and my Ipad translator app, we got through our time at the restaurant. Afterwards we went across the street and went up all the way up to the monument. Stopping to take pictures along the way, a little affectionate embracing. Chica initiated taking kissing fotos. When it was time to walk all the way back down, we were holding hands like were already a couple. Although I think I was doing it more because I didn't want her to fall with those high heels she had on. Chica is 32 with a 13yr old. Later I had to pick up a few things at the supermercado, and so did she. When it was time for her to head back to La Vega, she couldn't tell me where she needed to catch the public bus, so after driving in circles, I decided to just drive her to La Vega. Dropped her off at a taxi stand in La Vega, a quick kiss and a thank you, and I was on my way back to Sosua. Chica says she can cook. Would like to go to the beach. So maybe we have something we can build on. She was a pleasure to meet. No bad vibes or awkward moments between us.
So once again, the La Vega chica & I to be continued.
Got back to Sosua around 9pm, and during my ride one of my regulars still in town was blowing up my phone. Since we had not been together in about a week or so, her juice would have been a nice treat to top off the night. I stopped at Rockys got the garlic chicken. Ate half and took the rest home. This chica came over in a red dress as if she was going to the prom on Valentines day. It was very sexy, but a bit much for what we were about to do. Said she was hungry, opened my fridge, and found my leftovers. She devoured the food, like it was her last meal.
She was supposed to be going to D'Latins I suppose, to sport her dress, but I guess after our leche filled session she must have changed her mind and decided to sleep instead? Still got 2 weeks to go. I'm still baffled by some guys saying only a few days in Sosua is enough, or a week is too much. I think having a place that feels like home, and living with other expats in a community is partly responsible for my tolerance for Sosua. Plus I like the beach, and getting in the car to explore. I think anyone could get bored if the most they do is p4p (along with dealing with the hustlers etc) and not doing anything else that is fulfilling except for dropping leche loads. And perhaps they don't really enjoy being in their hotels?
Next week, I am going to look for a bicycle for exercise and for easy local transportation.
