This is why in the US elections, Republican voters supported Trump not so that he can make all of America great again, but so that he can make all white people great again. If only they had understood that his goal was even more narrow: to make all tech oligarchs richer than 99.9% of America. People on the far right fail to realize that the struggle is not between citizens and immigrants or heterosexuals and trans. It is between the poor and the ultra-rich.
The problem with far-right voters is that they feel they can only get ahead in life if someone else is fucked over. This is not surprising in the US, where this is actually, word-for-word the mantra of capitalism: my profit is your loss. This entire system breeds fascism.
It doesn't have to be this way. The Left has a much more balanced view of society and the world, where equal opportunity and equal share in wealth is enjoyed by all groups: white or black, Christian or atheist, transgender or not. There is no place for hate, except for facism and racism themselves.
The FAFO hashtag has been making the rounds in the media, which stands for Fuck Around and Find Out, referring to Republicans who voted for Trump. They thought that by voting for hate they will become the wealthy class. What they failed to realise is that hate knows no bounds. What goes around comes around, and hate comes back to you when you least expect it and from the people you least expect it from. You can't vote for hateful people who have no concept of empathy and expect them to be your friend. In the big picture, hate is a big problem for the human species. It is a form of bias, a need to blame others for your own misfortune. They are the same people who changed the world in fundamental ways. A modern example is Olyksandyr Usyk from Ukraine. He literally has Ali level talent in boxing. Defeated a giant like Tyson Fury to become first undisputed heavyweight champ since Lennox Lewis. If USSR was still around and we had those left wing philosophies, a guy like Usyk doesn't exist. He remains some obscure boxer from a small state in the USSR known as Ukraine. He never gets to give the world the gifts he was blessed with in boxing. He is the literal inspiration for why a nation continues to fight a war against an aggressor. So many people like him all over the world make huge contributions in what ever it is they are working in. There is nothing fundamental about right wing values that says others must be "destroyed" so others can thrive. Create a market rich enough and everyone will do just fine. I can't speak for all of the right, but most conservatives I know aren't blaming any body for anything because most conservatives have pretty decent lives and not much to complain about. I am talking people in everyday life. They are pretty chill and content.

In a perfect world, yes wealth would be equal among all groups. This world how ever is not perfect. Certain things have happened in the history of USA which even today stills hinders black American and yes overall, they do have a harder start at the beginning of life. But it is so case dependent. Many whites come from poor backgrounds as well, or just not blessed with the attributes to obtain success today. Many blacks are born with a high degree of social intelligence, the will to succeed which stems from a harsh upbringing, and a high degree of physical health. These are three most important things to succeed in USA, it is your own personal ability! If you have the skills and service a customer wants and your price is right and your willing to work full time, your in the best economy the world has ever seen. No other society even comes close. Look at Asians, Indian Americans, recent immigrant group and they are the richest racial segment in USA. Literally made a movie about, CRAZY RICH ASAINS. Constantly drilling it into the heads of black youth they can never succeed and everything is set up for them to fail and everyone is racist is literally the worst narrative the media can portray for them. All it is does is create the victim hood mentality and perpetuate them falling behind as a racial segment of USA. So much senseless focus on race and non on ability.
The policies of socialism just simply don't work. Especially in USA where the country is so diverse. Life and work is hard, people will not do certain jobs or perform adequately unless it is wage based. Take police officers for example. Thank god for body cams! Look that these men and woman go through on a daily basis. It is beyond insane the things they have to deal and the stress they under take and then on top of it, every one hates them because they have to enforce the law to keep order. Very few people are going to work those jobs unless their is a good wage associated with it.
I can't state this enough, racism is mostly dead. Most people on right just don't care about race. They care about you as a person. They care about what you have to offer. If you have nothing to contribute or offer, most people will not care about you, whether you are white or black. If you did nothing your life to never obtain skills to sell in the market place to contribute, your going to get the bare minimum. Simple as that. That has nothing to do with hate or race. And I am not saying we should not have social programs to help those in need. I am just saying, if your healthy and can contribute by working, you should. So much opportunity in this country.

Here is a documentary on a local legend near my home town. Guy was a wrestling coach who coached for 40 years and helped thousands. He was just one guy. This is how I was raised to think. Guys like him are being driven away and guys like him were the ones who made the biggest difference in under privileged communities. He took kids into his home and literally raised them like they were his own sons. He didn't never once thought about skin color. He thought about helping those who need it. He thought about doing a job. His story is very common among white men. Far more common than the idiots in the extreme far right. And I have said this before, my beliefs are based on things I see in the real world. The white men around me, this is how we were raised and this is what is really in our hearts. As someone who has spent a significant amount of time on university campuses, and who has remained keenly interested in all matters of goings on at the academy, I happen to think that so much that is happening at American colleges and universities today is total bullshit, starting with the outrageous cost to attend even many public schools, let alone private institutions. It's gotten to the point that I don't think it's even worth it anymore for most young people, especially talking on all the debt. I did just see yesterday where Emory University announced that tuition at its campus will be free for students from families earning less than $200,000 a year. That's admirable I think. But there are so many other problems in American higher education, like conservative (and other) voices not being permitted to be heard. That's anathema to what the very core of a university should be all about. You don't have to like it, but you ought not be shouting down the speaker, let alone gunning them down. Let them speak and be heard without violence or threat of violence. You can be passionate in debating the issues, but the line stops with shout downs and violence. The truth is that I can't stand the extreme, tree-hugging left of the Democratic party, but they're needed in order to win. So we have to work with them. It's a big tent party. They get a seat at the table. And when we do win (a time will come when we will win again) then they need to be controlled so that they don't take over the party and set the agenda like you dunces on the right let MAGA take over yours! Too far in either direction is bad for America. And if it's bad for America, then it's bad for the world since we are the leader. At the end of the day, we on the left have to end up landing more to the center where most Americans are.
