Home and feeling the jetlag. This will be brief. I spent almost my entire Trip in Davao City. It was great!. I even had my Jobeth, age 19, fly to Cebu for one night at the last minute. Where to Stay:

For location Casa Leticia is the best by far. Why I stayed there for so many years. I stay now at Marco Polo but it is not the best for location. You need a taxi everywhere. The CASA LETICIA HOTEL AND THE APO VIEW HOTEL are the best for location. Next is the Galleria which is right around the corner from
the Illustre Street Internet Cafe where I met the three ladies (fucked 2 and got a handjob from the other at o'Flanagan's) and it is also down the block from Ground Zero. Around Ground Sero are five barbecue restaurants which are open from 5:00PM to 01:00 to 03:00AM, depending on which of the five. You can take a lady for a late night meal and walk back to Casa Leticia, Apo View or Galeria Hotels.

I stay at the Marco Pole because I joined the private club there and I get fabulous treatment. Taxis run me around P 35 to 65 from wherever I am. This is $ .60 to $ 1.25 but still it does not beat stepping out your door and waliking for 2 minutes.

Five nights ago with my beautiful Cherrily in Davao ( pronounced sha reel) I had the taxi drive down J Camus St at 11:30PM. I told him to stop at the doorstep just to the right 50 meters of the entrance to Casa Leticia. I spoted 5-6 ladies sitting there on the steps just before the small Karaoke Cafe on J Camus St. The girls are hot and looking to earn tuition. I covered Casa Leticia and Apo View Hotels, blth on J Camus St and Galeria on Gov Duterte St as good choices for your stay here. Another is the Red Knight Inn. I visited this place three weeks ago with GoodEnough. We had a tough time finding it as it is sort of hidden away. Has one level with a swimming pool and open air restaurant in the center courtyard. Looks nice and I think rooms run as little as $ 14-15/nt for an efficiency. The now famous Brad stays here. So do a bunch of old, retired ex pats living on social security and pensions.

I am going to stay here for 1-2 nights when I return just to see how it is. For me it would not work out on a long term basis. No privacy. All the "old farts" here will know your business very quickly. One old geezer got on Brad's case for having a second woman over. This is only the second woman Brad has had i his life. Give the momma's boy a fucking break. I Wil have Cherryl, Jobeth and May staying with me here at various times. Ladies are in school and all three work. Not much time for checking up on Dragon Slayer.

I've tried to post about this before, but the whole thing is so convoluted and, in retrospect so funny, that's it's difficult to communicate the dynamics of the situation.

Suffice it to say that I arranged for the lovely May to get an e-ticket to get to Manila to meet DS (actually I arranged for her to go to Cebu at first, but Cherryl used that ticket, which is still another story.) At any rate, she showed (May that is) up at our house at about 7:30 on the day she was to leave on a 3:30 PM PAL flight. I explained, or tried to explain to her how to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but I could see she wasn't paying attention, and I made sure she had the address of the hotel and the phone number. The flight was due in about 5.

About 6 PM I started to get a series of texts from the DS wondering where the hell she was and why he got no responses to the messages he was sending her. Both of us concluded that she hadn't come after all, the DS was furious. I think "*****" was about the nicest thing he called her. By 8 or 8:30 she had contacted him and told him that she was in Manila but was having dinner with her aunt and would see him later. He was (how to put this delicately?) enraged, figuring she had used him to grab a ticket to Manila to go see her long-lost relatives. Was was convinced that he was correct and that he would never lay eyes on her again.

Wrong! About two hours later I get a text then a phone call telling me that they've "made up" and are making out in various Japanese restaurants getting drunk on Kirin beer. Turns out that she was telling the truth after all, and had thought that she would be there in Manila with him for a week, not a single night, so didn't figure it was any big deal to stop off and see her aunt, who picked her up at the airport when she realized she didn't have enough money for a taxi. Turns out that she's a nice lady, not a scammer and, in the words of DS, "a definite keeper."

I guess the lesson here is that they're not all scammers out there; that sometimes the stories they tell are actually true.

Just as an aside, we went last night to a private party at Henny's restaurant which is, of course, behind Chico's and next to Someplace Else. Both places were jammed and there were dozens of good looking, apparently available, "normal" women hanging out. The nicer rooms at Galleria go for P 1700-1800. Did you request a better room? Try Casa leticia right up the street also. Ask for standard room prices. I always have a reservation and then try to get a better price after I arrive. But in mid August the Sinulog Fiesta takes place in Davao City. Fills up all the hotels and discounts on rooms are rare. I was here once for this and I stayed at GE's home. The City was packed. There will be plenty of young women around then.

I purchased my ticket for my return Trip to the Philippines in September. GE made my hotel reservation in Makati and May will fly there again to be with me. Jobeth (not Cherryl; she had to work) met me in Cebu last Trip and will do the same this coming Trip. This time she says she will stay a few days so we can go around the city. I will see all three of them in Davao again.

Reviewed the old davao board for first time in months. Only post was Mahku and Urban Wildlife, BOTh insulting me. It gets old after awhile but these guys will never stop. Jealousy is a real sickness.

If GE and I choose NOT to meet or see someone when they go to Davao the reason is obvious: we do not want to associate with this individual. Guys, I DO NOT EVER read the old davao board. Mentioning me there accomplishes absolutely fucking nothing!. GE mentioned over the phone the other night how the older fella now in Davao posted there. Sort of a "kick in the face" to me considering he told GE my "exploits" in Davao were what motivated him to make this Trip.

Ground Zero is NOWHERE NEAR RIZAL ST in Davao City. GE asked me what could be within 300 meters of La Casita hotel on Rizal St that this guy said was GZ. I told him down the street 500 meters on the opposite side is the Restaurant Complex where Henny's two restaurants (De Nonte Koe & El Toro), Claude's, Chico's and Someplace Else are located. Rizal Promenade is right next to the hotel and the Karoke place where I got "tortured" listening to horrible music by Lalaine nad hes 2 daughters is directly across the street.

This Hotel has great location. I have never been inside it as it lacked "curb appeal" and heard it was not good. GoodEnough told me he will inspect the interior this week. This could be another nice place to stay.

Guys, it you get yor information here (and where else would you?), kindly post your experiences here. If this will be like the old board back in July/Aug 2004 (before the wannabes' started posting and fucking it up), we will dispense with the advice/information and just post our experiences in Davao solely for our own enjoyment and that of our pals on the Davao Team.

This week I intend to use my mileage bank to purchase a R/T ticket WBC to the Phils over the Christmas Holiday. I do intend to spend New Year's Eve again in Davao City. Not sure about New Year's Eve but I think I will be holding a party there possibly New Year's Day. Unlike last year when pissed off at my Jen and wasting time trying to get something going with the cute but much too conservative/uptight 42 y/o real estate lady, I ended up beginning my New Year's Eve celebrating at 11:00PM ALONE at GE's party. Should not allow anything to mess up New Year's Eve and what should I expect from trying to get a romance going with a "gerry" (geriatric, old *itch).

This year everything has changed for me. Now it is still nearly five months away but I am, for once, thinking on the positive side. It would take an "enormous effort" on my part or that of some "friends" to have it fucked up with all three (or any one of them) of my new loves in Davao between now and New Year's. This means I will most likely be accompanied each night during this time and having a great time.

I had a great time last year at GE's New Year's Eve Party and he went out of his way to make me comfortable as the only person (besides his maid) at the party without a wife/date. If he throws a Party this year I will NOT be alone and I wil NOT be solo at my own New Year's Day gathering. This is one time of year NOT to be in Davao without a woman. AND it is one time when you DEFINITELY want to stay in one of the nicer hotels. The city is a fucking ghost town New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and the next few days. Filipinas are with their families, at home, celebrating in the traditional way. As I posted in the old Board last year, I saw absolutely no one out on the streets. Marco Polo had parties everywhere, however, and the one on the third floor looked fantastic but was invitation only.

As a brief note, I am spending more on phone calls to the Philippines than I have in years since returning home. Promised the three ladies age 19, 21 & 22 that I just met, I would call daily and I have done this. I also now call my daughter at least once daily on her cellphone at the request of her mother. GoodEnough has never met the 19 y/o but thinks the 22 y/o May, from meeting her twice, will be around for the "long haul" as in perhaps permanently. Maybe. Being pessimistic, I would think that as young as each of them is, they will lose interest soon in someone far away. Just too many young filipinos around and being beautiful, any one of them can do good. GE says I had no trouble "convincing" 19 y/o Jobeth do dump her 21 y/o boyfriend but I think (yes I am too realistic) it was just the excitement of the last minute plane trip to Cebu that made her think later she is "in love".
