Thanks a million! after reading your post I immediately made a be line for the internet and book some tickets on Jetblue. At first glance I was blown away by the prices. but by the time I got to the checkout line I was slapped back into reality ( it cost me $308 round trip) but hey I may have saved $20. That can definitely buy me a piece a tail in DR. :D

I can't wait! Board June 28, 2004 7:00 AM. Arriving in Santigo at 10:50 AM. What do I do first?? :O

I made my first trip to the DR alone last week. I decided to stay at Blackbeards because it's pretty much one stop shopping there. Everything is there for you. You don't have to travel anywhere if you don't want to and there are guys there who won't hesitate to help you out.

Don't let the fact that you're traveling alone discourage you. Sometimes you're better off that way. You only have to worry about yourself then.

I dont understand why you are flying into santiago unless you plan on staying there. But if you are going to sosua area check out great prices from American Airlines. Log on to aa.com and check many times. Prices keep on changing. I bought a ticket to pop airport for $304.90 leaving June 25 from JFK.

Planning a trip to Puerto Plata in September. I have been to the D.R. before in 2001 and stayed in Boca Chica. This time we are going to try P.P.

1. Which is better Puerto Plata or Sousa, for drinking and mongering.

2. We are looking at an AI for our homebase, thinking of the Hilton in P.P. Can anyone tell me of its location relative to the action in P.P.?

3. Are there any good massage parlors for an actual massage with a happy ending? If so where?

Good looking out!! I'm suffering from a serious case of "SAMEASSFORNINEYEARS" syndrome. I get the occasional hot flashes when a 20 y.o. with a Phat one passes by usually. And I need to get away. After threatening to leave permanently, the wife agreed on me taking a vacation alone. And for one week I'm gonna set Sosua on fire.

2. Blackbeards
3. Hotel Plaza Europa
4. Rocky's

I have gotten the "HAPPY ENDING" at the 2 open parlors in Sousa.

Granted I had to ask for it, and one of the chicas was way past her prime, but they both got the job done.
