I PM'ed on this site before heading for Finland last week. She asked me to call her on her phone and gave me a number. Promptly soon as I landed my back side in Helsinki I called her..but the person that came on line talked in finnish and hung up. Dont understand that at all. I haven't visited that girl but it seems that there is also a good experiences with her based on reports.

As for general information for the would be commercial sex client in Helsinki Finland there isn't much to tell. If you scan the internet you will once again find the random fellow bragging about the great luck he had with the local girls and suggesting that *any* guy should be able to score with a civilian uber-babe for free like he did. And again in practice we find that there is no national tendency for loose women.

For pay, however, the options in Helsinki are starker than most cities in Europe or the US.

There you will find some ads for outcall girls, very few reviews, some mention of Thai massage parlors that *sometimes* offer more...and one random report of a crack addled streetwalker.

By far the primary method of action seems to be going to the Alcatraz Club and/or the Mikado Club. They are a short walk within each other and are in very safe parts of the Center City. You must be marginally presentable and not staggeringly drunk to gain entry. There is a cover charge of 10€ and 9€ respectively. While many of the posts I read seemed to lean towards the Mikado I found the Alcatraz more to my liking. It is smaller, but the prison theme is amusing and unlike the Mikado the Alcatraz has strippers...albeit one at a time at 20 minute intervals on a tiny stage with a single pole. On the other hand the Mikado has gambling...2 or 3 table games and 3 or 4 video poker/slot machines.

I am not sure if the strippers at the Alcatraz are available for off-campus action, but virtually all the other women you will find at both clubs are working professionals. To my view the women at the Alcatraz were more attractive on average but fewer in number. But the number of men was fewer as well. Alcatraz is just smaller than the Mikado.

For the most part the women working these clubs are migrating Russians or Estonians. The women at the Mikado skewed a bit older. it could be, however, that ones chances of getting a stunner is actually better at the Mikado. I noticed several show up and almost immediately pair off. So they are there. You just have to be decisive. For the most part the women will not approach you...but don't be shy. They *want* you to approach them, and they've heard *everything*.

Not sure when the party starts...perhaps 22:00 or so? Both close at 4:00 but be careful...you can't gain entry to Mikado after 3:00!h Some bargains can be had in front of Mikado at 4:00 though as the unpaired women leave and may be willing to settle for less rather than nothing. Take care however. While prostitution per se isn't illegal, negotiating for same in a public place (even in the club) is, and doing so on the sidewalk may lead to problems.

In general women will ask for 200€ and will settle for 150€. But what that gets you may vary widely. It should at least get you an hour back in your hotel (*maybe* in her room if it is nearby...but some girls share a hotel room so this may not be so good!), full nudity, CBJ leading to multiple positions of standard covered sex. Some will offer more. Some will be willing to stay all night...for a bit more. Many will want you to pay her 5€ coat check fee and perhaps another 10€ for return cab fare...plus cab fare to your place of course.

Some report fantastic sexual adventures with multiple acts, DATY, going all night, and so on for 150€ to 300€. But my guess is that this is not at all typical. My best suggestion is to get 1 hour / 1 pop for 150€ or 2 hours / 2 pops for 200€ or walk away from the deal.

Here is what happened in my case...learn from my mistakes!

First I went to Alcatraz. I saw 2 strippers and both were quite different and very attractive. One girl was very voluptuous...*almost* fat...yet sexy as hell. Sort of a gothic look with red/violet color hair. She seemed to just float up and down the pole, and it was quite a treat when she finally released her big breasts. The next girl was a tall thin Nordic Goddess. The working girls varied from girls you wouldn't look at twice on the street in conservative dress, to bombshells with next to nothing on.

Suddenly they flash the lights. Mikado will be closing soon! Suddenly things don't work out for her with the school teacher either. I catch her eye. After some initial small talk she says "so...would you like to take me home with you for the night?"

It is so rare that a woman asks me that that even in a commercial context it is hard to not just yell out "YES!!!".

She asks 250€ for "all night". I playfully point out that "all night" is almost already over. I suggest 200€ for 2 hours and am *very* explicit that I will want to go at it 2 or 3 times. She clearly understands and agrees. I also say I don't want to go fast, I want it to last. Again she seems to be very agreeable.

Off we go. My hotel is a mere block away. When we get to the room I start to realize that this is not going to go super well. First she takes the only chair, at the desk, and stations herself there. The following night I decided to try my luck again. I knew I'd be going to various FKK's in the days to come, so I decided to check out both clubs but only go with a girl if I spotted someone exceptional.

Long story short...I ended up sleeping alone. But here are some supplemental comments.

First, I can see why Mikado is more popular than Alcatraz for picking up working girls. There is a much more robust churn there. Many of the women are older and not so good looking, but a significant number of good looking women cycle through. They get picked up quickly, but they are there to be had. The women at Alcatraz are, on the average, better looking but I didn't see any absolute stunners show up like a few at Mikado.

For the most part the women expect you to approach them, but a couple or three came up to me. Not surprisingly these are not the best looking women. A Russian woman with a great body but a slightly below average face came right up to me and said "So, would you like a Russian woman tonight?". Another, at Mikado, stopped me and said "wait, wait...tell me...where are you from?" One of the oddest things that happened that night was also at Mikado. I spotted this girl who was cute in a tomboy-ish way. The famous saying "all good things must come to an end". I recieved the news last night that Mikado is being closed on 22-Dec. The reason is due to political pressure and the fact that city hall doesn't want this establishment on the main street downtown. My reliable (LoL) sources were two different Russian pros at Alcatraz last night.

As for my evening, it started out at Storyville which was really busy with all different ages (few young and many older). Spent most of the evening dancing with an mid-40 blonde who spoke no english (only Suomi and Estonian) so conversation was limited to touch and feel. She tipped the alcohol barometer around 1:00 and then I decided it was going to be too much work to get a drunk without being able to communicate into my hotel. I decided it was time to leave and visit some pro places.

Headed downtown around 1:30 and decided at last minute to check out Alcatraz instead of Mikado. The place was not as crowded as I expected with about 12 pros, 3 dancers and the guys definitely out numbered the girls. As for the scenary, the ages ranged from early 20s to mid-30s. I must say there were some really good lookers (7-8) with really nice bodies.

Hints/Tips For Rookies Mongers:

I have collected some useful tips over the past 10 years of visiting Helsinki. Be careful as previous reports state, the laws are changing so be aware of your surroundings and if you get a bad feeling while talking to the pro, move on.

Make eye contact and the girl will usually approach you.
After some small talk (where are you from?, what are you doing in Helsinki?, where do you stay?), she will drop the question "are you looking for some company tonight?". 1) What is the cost for your companionship?

2) How many hours is that for? Be careful of the answer, "there is no rush whatever it takes" because typically these are (cash, pop as quick as possible and dash)

3) How many pops? usually I say 3 and get a comment "I am not a machine", then you just move on. Most likely the pros will reconsider and reapproach you 15-20 minutes later.

Once you are past that point, start getting intimate by holding her hand and gently touching her arm, leg and/or back and make sure you look her in the eyes to see her physical response. I also have another rule and that is no buying the pros drinks. It gets expensive and if you have made it to this point, you are a few minutes from the door.

Now that you made it this far but before you think with the wrong head which is difficult to do at this point, repeat the agreement:

7) So it is 200 Eur for 3 hours and with 3 pops. If she confirms, I ask one last question.

8) Do you promise? Of coarse, no gaurantees but it is a comfort factor.

She will then ask for 5 Eur to tip the coat clerk and then also when back to your hotel, she will ask for taxi money which I usually provide another 10 Eur to the agreement. On top of that, a mini-bar drink maybe offered but that is it. No tipping ever required!

Back to the Alcatraz:

Ordered a beer and watched the strip show for a little before I was approached by the first pro. Looks were a 7, nice body, really short hair and 30ish. Personality was good and this is really important that the Chemistry must be there or you will end up dissapointed later. it was a "maybe" and we continued the discussion and I asked for an all night price. Quoted price was 400 Euro and I told her no way, the night is almost over! She tried to convince me that she would stay until after breakfast. Remembering Neuro's re-post (on one pop, immediatley to sleep, wake-up and then see you), I declined and moved on.

Second Pro approached and she was a tall mid-20s brunette with long hair. Pretty face with looks being an 8, body very shapely (maybe 2-3 kilo excess). Again the typical conversation followed by "are you looking for company?" with my answer being a "maybe". We started to discuss business and then she stopped me and said we do this in private (not sure what this was all about). We moved into the table area and sat down to discuss. Got through the questions and it was 200 Eur for 2 hours with 2 pops. Asked the question on kissing and response was "No" with a long explanation on germs, etc. Move on time for me. I told her I would think about it and then we parted.

Third Pro approached and she was mid30s heavy build and not to my liking. We got to the company question and I responded with " I was enjoying the dancing girls and a beer" and moved on.

Fourth Pro approached and previously we had been making eye contact while I was trying to shed pro#3. She was what I thought to be smaller/short mid-20's with dirty blonde hair, looks being a 6 with a nice smile and a very nice petite body (killer butt). She easily passed the personality test and could tell she was a pleaser. We got the "kiss" question and she said "YES". Bottom line: 200 Eur, 3 hours, 3 pops, massage, kiss. In US we typically use the term GFE = Girl Friend Experience to rate clasify the pros. This means that she would do everything you expect of your girl friend during the companionship time. She really made my late night a pleasurable one even though we only took two pops (my choice).

I will be back out tonight - just may have to visit Mikado since if rumors are truth, it will be closed the next time I get back to Helsinki.

As a business, they are not doing anything illegal. And I know that the guy who owns it and his daughter who runs it don't really give a shit about political pressure or the city hall. If they close it, it will be for other reasons. Most likely the city will try to cancel their liquor license hoping that customers will abandon the place afterwards. If that happens, I personally hope that Mikado will remain open as a succesful and thriving juice bordello. I have a place one block from there and I have never witnessed any disturbances so far and no effect on real estate values. The action stays pretty much indoors. However, if the action is forced out to the streets, the negative impact will be immediate. But one should never underestimate the stupidity of the national and local governments in Helsinki.
