Have been in Serbia, Belgrade, for a few days already. And I have not been lazy, tried most of the options.
Internet: source indicate two main possibilities, namely Stela and Tara. Left message on both websites, with my co-ordinates, days before arrival. Response=zero
Marina, gently indicated by Rupphert. Phone is always off = zero
Hotel Moskva, checked the place twice, dry = zero
Went to silicon valley. Remarkable amount of women, few to be precise and mostly either in company of BF of in a group of women. Little silicon to be seen as well. Result = zero
Interviewed three cab drivers, one bar owner, plus two local colleagues. Result. You guessed it already, zero. Locals are also puzzled by their women lack of sportivity.
Contacted 'team serbia' by email, replied possible to meet high class woman for. Hear this one. 150 f*****g Euro/hour. Not tried this one, I refuse to pay that amount of money in a place where average salaries are less than 500 Euro a month. My fault, but anyway. Result = zero
Local scene at hotel even more depressing, no girl to be seen, in however fashion = zero
I do not intend to try my luck with hotel Maki, which I called.
'Hi, do you speak english? No! 'Click'.
Ok, enough moaning. The scenery is perfect. Serbia is in deep economical crisis, 10+ % inflation on the dinar, 20+ % unemployment, full of stunning long-legged women, dressed to kill during day and evening.
Unclear who are they trying to kill though. Flashing italian suite, golden watch and english did not attract any interest. Seen a number of gorgeous girls with absolute pennyless losers, more or less everywhere. And a more than normal amount of dressed-to-kill girls showing off on the street. Perfectly alone and with the typical 'mine is made of gold' attitude.
My personal take on this is. This place may be full of women. Long-legged, high-heeled, dressed-to-kill gorgeous young bimbo's.
But there is a serious lack of females, horny, hot, service oriented and financially interested creatures.
Don't quite understand why. May be it is a cultural thing. Serbians tend to take themselves very seriously, and they have also lost a war, very recently. Maybe a bit of beaten dog attitude. Dunno.
Anyway, a like-for-like comparison with close countries in the same region delivers a clear result. You can enjoy yourself almost everywhere in E-Europe. Serbia is in the 'almost' category.
Steer clear if you can. Don't waste too much time and effort if you can't. Save your pennies for more friendly places (Philippines, Thailand, Kenya, Argentina and a few others).
And remember, if theirs is made of gold, yours is made of platinum. Beat that!
Arthur
PS: a place full of women and empty of females is one of the most infuriating and frustrating things I know of. All that talent wasted. So I am, at the moment, quite furious.
serbia
Thanks to this site, I had a great time in Serbia. I got the website for Marina from a posting here, and sent her an email from her site, set up a meeting, she came over to the hotel and spent a long time with me, she was not rushed, she was very willing to try most anything. She was awesome. I travel for a living, have done so for 30 years, and most girls like this have bad energy, so I don't bother. She was the opposite. She was very cool, fun, and had really awesome oral skills. SHe only takes foreigners for clients (she has a full time business that she runs, family in town, etc, so she does not advertise locally. Only word of mouth. No agency, no pimps, etc. Independent girl) very discreet. Blonde, the or DD natural breasts, curvy girl, around 30 yrs old. Not in the BEST shape you could possibly imagine if you like the super lean athletic type, but I loved her package. one would never say that she was overweight. Hangs out and talks afterward. Had sex a second time with no attitude. Finishes w BBBJ if you want. I only paid for one hour and she stayed for almost two, it was a reasonable amount, and she didn't even think to collect the $$ till she was out the door. More of a GF experience. Oh. She is in Belgrade.
Here is her email. Let her know that 'seth fuji' recommended; like I said, she only takes referrals for security reasons.
I was in Serbia for 10 days last year again. And again total frustration looking at soo many hot, gorgeous women totally uninterested in meeting a man!. They were very cold and defensive. (my Serbian friend said they are that way with their own men too!). And in the nightclubs the ratio is 5 men to every woman!
They strut along the streets, dressed to kill but totally unaprochable, with their pretty noses up, while the guys drool at their fantastic, sexy bodies. If you like torture, head to Serbia!
I totally agree with your post, I had the same experience in Belgrade as well :( Summer is hot and girls are really gorgeous but absolutely not interested to meet foreigners... I found a couple of nice cocktail/music bars in the city center filled with VERY GOOD looking women (women/men ratio one to one!), all girls tall, slim and dressed sexy but all unapproachable!!! :( Indeed, a real frustration!

Serbian Follies
Just to add my experience to Serbian issue:
Serbian chicks are phenomenal but there is some level of Xenophobia. When I lived in Europe I met a Serbian woman in Belgrada online and we chatted a lot, moved to phone. She wanted me to come see her and I even met one of her friends online bia camera. (She was smoking hot).
It seems that if you don't have a "serbian" connection, preferably a female one you would have a hard time. At the end, I did get a commitment to bang both my friend and her hot girlfriend but I never went.
I am not sure Americans are very very welcome in that country so I chickened out. I know for a sure if I had went, I would have banged at least 2 of those girls.
Also, my friends said a lot of Italians go to Serbia and they are apparently liked?? I don't know. I can't wait until Serbia opens up fully so we can start spreading those legs.

Barcelona of the Balkans
One of my friends just come back from three weeks in Belgrade and had a blast, at rather low cost.
Seems that Belgrade has more and more a reputation for offering an awesome nightlife. It's often called "the Barcelona of the Balkans".

Undoubtedly, to be sucessful there, you need time, style and game. But as everywhere else in fact.
Belgrade is one of the top destinations of my "to-do" list.
It's often called "the Barcelona of the Balkans".
lol. and Bucharest is a Little Paris. Spent two nights in Belgrade (August 2009) mostly recovering from Romania and Moldyova and doing tourism. In the center of Belgrade many restaurants and outdoor cafes, full of people on a summer night. Unlike Bucharest, though these places pack up early. It's true that for a short-time visitor you need to take your fun like a travelling salesman. No need to spend any length of time in Serbia unless you have a fetish for inbred looking females, two meters tall. Otherwise, check the box, and move on.

Not quite.
Understand that Serbia is not typical EE but much tougher.
I've been to Belgrade many times and being a foreigner is not that easy.
There's always somebody who wants to beat you up.
Few months ago I was in club called "Stefan Brown" and there were two Americans, marines from the US embassy. They tried to talk to a girl, said something she didn't like. She complained to her male companions and both marines got the beating of their lives. Of course everybody there didn't try to stop that but on the contrary there was cheering. Last month two Britts were beaten by police in betting place because they invited cops for a drink.
"Silicon Valley" i.e. Strahinjica Bana street is overcrowded by most foreigners since it's the place they googled up. You can do well there if you're famous sportsman. But in Serbia not in your own country!
Those floating boats are infested with criminals where shootings out are regular thing. Typical man look there is shaved head, golden chain around neck and gun in back pocket.
Italians liked in Serbia? Not that much. Most of them come for few days like on business and they split.
Serbia is open enough but it will never be like in Prague, Budapest or Kiev. It's dinaric mentality most outsiders will not understand.
The only way for Serbia is to have local base there, ie knowing people and staying for a long time.
Clip said 400 000 tourist in Belgrade actual number is maybe half of that since the number includes serbian citizens living abroad and coming home for a visit. After all the number is very small compared to like 5 million tourist in Prague - plenty of cheap p4p there and in Belgrade almost none.
No need to spend any length of time in Serbia unless you have a fetish for inbred looking females, two meters tall.
Once more, you're talking out of your ass. Anyone who has spent more than one afternoon in the Balkans knows that women there are statuesque beauties who are the results of centuries of mixing between Slavs (Yougoslavia = "land of the South Slavs"), Etruscans, Autro-Hungarians, Turks, Greeks, ect, ect. They nowhere look like "inbred".
Furthermore, your remark about "two meters tall women" makes me wonder how tall you yourself are. Most girls in this part of the world are usually 1.70 and above. With their heels it means a combined length of 1,80 and more. Which, if your own lenght is about 1.60 (as I suppose), could explain your inferiority complex.
Clip said 400 000 tourist in Belgrade actual number is maybe half of that since the number includes serbian citizens living abroad and coming home for a visit.
I know with certitude from Croatian friends that there's every weekend thousands of Croatian party-goers who leave Zagreb to go to Belgrade (a three to four hours drive) to party their ass off.
Once more you are hearing whatever you want to hear. Go see for yourself.
I've been in Zagreb, where you hardly walk ten meters without bumping into a beauty.
Anyway on this only page, three or four posters rave about how Serbian women are hot and gorgeous (yet admittedly difficultely approachable). Only you talk about about "inbred looking women", which makes me wonder if your allegedly trip to Belgrade is not another result of your rambling imagination.

Just your way of announcing you exist on a lower level. Been to Zagreb? Well, good for you! Women in Croatia were indeed hot -- though I haven't been back since it was part of former Yugoslavia. Check out Belgrade. Check every box. Serbia in 2009 was just a snapshot in time. Who can say what it will be like next year. Across the border into Kosovo and it was like night and day.

Compare and Contrast?
I at least for one, Golfinho, would appreciate your views in Kosovo/Pristina versus Belgrade/Serbia especially on the subject that most ISG members are most interested in.
Thanks in advance.

E.
Myself and wingman were two nights in capital of Kosovo (August 2009) where we found absolutely no mongering / opportunity activity. A lot of friendly people and about one day's worth of sights to see. That and a lot of pictures of Bill Clinton everywhere was it. Limited hostelry options and can't imagine guest policy -- if you could find one. Contrast with unfriendly Serbs. Met girls on bus to Macedonia and found Skopje nicest town of all three. Northern Europeans vacationing at the Lake, actually had an alpine feel, plus with the old Moslem-Byzantine-Balkan old center made it an appealling place. Bars are fun places there on summer nights.

Friday 13th starts Gucha trumpet festival. It will last for 10 days and half a million people is expected. Most will be drunk, lots of foreigners too. If you're there good chances to score. With local girls will be hard but there will be enough of foreign one to try your luck. I've been there 3 times and always hooked up with few girls. Mostly English and German.
On the other hand Serbia will pass new laws on prostitution which is much more strick. The new is that buying of sexual favour is also criminal act which can be sentenced from 6 months to 5 years in prison. Especially if the girl is proven to be victim of trafficking. So if you're in Serbia and somebody offers you a visit to brothel with girls from Moldova or Ukraine stay away.

Serbian women
Scoring with Serbian women can be very difficult but not impossible. However you do need to put down quite a time for it and make som cash-investments. The best way is to get aquainted with one through a serbian friend. There are women that you can pay for if you reed the personal adds in the newspaper. There arer also personal adds to be found in the internet if you check the webbversion of the newspapers. For instance I could recommend
www.halo-oglasi.rs
Go to "licni kontakti" (personal contacts) and then select the option "ona trazi njega" which is "she looks for him"
There you can find plenty mobilenumbers of working girls. It usually a short description of the advertiser and you need to find out the rest for yourself.
Good luck!
Btw, donīt mind Golfinho. He seems to be one of very few people that complain about Serbian hospitality or friendlyness. I guess it simply must have someting to do with his mental hygiene or revolting personality. Everyone I have spoken with so far loves Belgrade just for the fact of itīs friendly inhabitants and beautiful women. Offcourse you can find dogs even in Belgrade the same way you can in London, Paris or Berlin but thatīs useless to mention to someone that has an intelligence-caliber slightly weaker than a mushroom. He found his happiness and satisfaction among billboards of Bill Clinton in Kosovo so he got the most of it what je deserved.
