Short term apartment rentals

I did a search and didn´t find anything, so if this information has been posted previously, please forgive me.

I am winding up a one week stay here in Cebu, my first, at the tail end of a month´s visit to this part of the world and wish I had listened to all those who told me to forget about Thailand and concentrate on the Philippines. I met a nice guy here also staying at the Marriott who feels the same way I do, and we want to come back in around 5 months or so and rent a nice apartment for a month.

Should I just use google and see what I come up with or does someone have some suggestions. We want a nice place...maybe with pool in a good section of town. Obviously with plenty of space for two guys...budget around $1,000 or maybe somewhat more. Thanks for any information you might be able to give me.

Seems a lot harder then somewhere you can talk first...but the "drag...patio" that allows things to move in the right direction. I guess dancing can "get it going" and then drag 'em out. Have done that at sunflower...quite a number of "good" girls there though. If I had there cell they might not be so good the next day when seperated from girlfriend in club.

I had read that post but wanted another opinion. However after doing some research, I tend to agree with you and will probably end up back at the Marriott. Very few short term rental markets around like one finds in Buenos Aires.

I looked very hard and very long. You'll get a little discount from a hotel, but that's best you can do. Try the Richmond. They do have monthly APARTMENTS that are priced similar but much better than normal rooms. Not as nice as marriot though.

Not as nice as marriot though.[/QUOTE]I have heard the area North of Ayala Mall is good for longer term rentals, you should check it out, it means you need to walk area looking for signs in windows or rent a taxi and drive streets, you could ask taxi driver for ideas, but be careful where he takes you, only go to area you want to.

Massage parlors with Xtra in Cebu

Well I am well knowledge with my many trips to Manila and Angeles. I am making my 2nd trip to Cebu. First trip and only trip to Cebu was with a girlfrind I had so didn't get to move around alot. But my eyes did notice a well noted place near Robinsons called Silver Dollar so I will venture there definately. I wanted to know is there any Massage Parlars like Don P. In Manila or Air Force 1? I am sure there are some and would like information on the whereabouts they are. Also Is Lone Star near the Silver Dollar. Never saw it with my wondering eyes when girlfriend was next to me.

i can recommend finland massage for happy happy ending.
taxis are required and afforable to move around Cebu. Lonestar is walkable from Blackhole strip of bars but a 15 min walk at least from lonestar.

To add to Scribe's post/map, it's an easy walk to all of the places. Nevertheless, the walk to Lone Star is rather dark and lonely.

This place seems to be highly recommended, but I don't remember it being anything special. Has anyone else been there? I like Lemon Grass at AYala mall.

Short-term house rental

i don't know about short-term apartments but i will be out of the country for several months and may rent out my house. fully- (and nicely) furnished, excellent location, high-speed internet, but no pool. plenty of room for two couples. not sure what month you are looking for, but i will be leaving in feb or march.

Been to cebu and hope my little experience could be of help for first-timers here in the Philippines.

As for accommodation, try booking directly at the hotel web site. It is cheaper than having a so-called portal do it for you.

If you don't know any hotel in the area and are just searching through search engines, forums like this are helpful.

Its about time

I had to cut short of my trip in Cebu, due to work issues and had to come back to India to get things up again.

I left Cebu in late July, did not get a chance to write up my final words

My two month in Cebu were fantastic..

Though i had some issues at first, i adjusted to the needs of filipino women by being atmost clean and smelling good with good dress sense.

Folks, If you plan to work and fun in Cebu....it is impossible..thats the reason you will find most of the retired folks and korean businessmen for pleasure...

I had planned to work from Cebu as i work on the net..but it became IMPOSSIBLE to work combined with fun for me..my whole mind was in women and bars and my company fired me for not being upto the mark :)...

Due to not knowing how to go about things..i messed with lot of money renting a house..losing the deposit and losing lots of money thinking i will be staying in Cebu and buying things..which i could have used for mongering :(

DO NOT make a trip for a week...I repeat..DO not..or else you will go crying back home :)...its so much to explore in Cebu..everyday you will find new women to explore...

Lonestar, silverdollar, all mango avenue bars are great..BUT the real heaven of real model quality girls of philiphines are in Arena bar and jaguar bars..cos lots of korean and japanese businessman come there...

Lonestar, silverdollar and mango avenue bars are good if you LIVE in cebu...cos they would cost very less per day or weekend action...BUT if you are really a tourist and do not wish to LIVE in Cebu...you really really have to check....Arena, jaguar plus..paseo disco...

There are also lots of brothels in Cebu which my taxi driver took around night for 200 pesos...whole night.... all great women ...just wanted to check out all the places

Arena and jagaur bar have around 80+ hot girls.......they have live shows and Ktv lounge on top...

Ohh man what can i say..i fell in love with half of the women in these bars...the bar fine is 5000 pesos..but if u bargain and wait by 2.30 am the time bar closes they would reduce it to 3500 around and if you are a regular visitor and a high rollar..you can take the girl out for free as they know you will pay the girl..

Its all about vibe...

There is a different world in Cebu outside the english speaking domain..where the real hardcore girls go..cos there is more money to be made...

I have to say i messed up my trip for not gauging what pleasure it has to offer..with going with a frame of mind to WORK and Enjoy..which is imposiible in my opinion

Folks...don't use your mind in Cebu..its worthless...what is important is you have to be there with a physical body that breathes and the girls will stick out to you...

I had some difficulty at first for being an indian which reminds them of pinoy men and they think all Indians do this lending business .so image problem..but once i got to know inside out....its being a paradise..

I be there by new years..hope to die this time in paradise with LOVEEEEEE
