I don't think anyone offered me a watch at Soi Cowboy, more than once in the last year. If there was a watch selling stand I would certainly have walked straight past without a glance.

On a serious note, if anything will kill off Cowboy, its progressive change. We now have far too many Coyote bars. We now have a ladyboy bar, and some other bars with one or two of them (LBs) , where we used to think Cowboy was a safe place from LBs. What next? Cowboy is somewhat in decline. Hopefully all "the Arab's" bars will fail to make money and most of the pathetic Coyote girls will go. Most of them are just not pretty or skilled enough to be worth watching. If you want Coyote, its best to go somewhere else.

Cowboy's downfall could come from failing to be sufficiently different from Nana.

The "sex" police should come along. Clean out all the child beggars. Make sure elephants don't come. Clean out the LBs. Clean out the flower sellers, and various other annoying urchins.

The most we can really do is refuse to give money to Children, elephants, peanut sellers, flower sellers, and stay out of Coyote bars, which are strictly for tourists I guess, or businessmen pretending to have a clean image.

This works for me:

First of all I never bother with non-pros. Semi-pros or pros know what this is about, the whole process is much more straighforward. I do not bother with DIA or Thailovelinks or other dating sites (although there are lots of pros and semi-pros on those sites also) , and I do not bother with trying to pick up shop attendants or girls in malls. The couples you have observed are in my opinion quite likely a farang and a pro.

I hadn't been to Bangkok in almost 9 months and the difference between the high season and low season was quite interesting.

First the FL scene. There seem to be less of them both in the Nana parking lot or on Sukhumvit around soi 5 etc. Similalrly, I found far fewer of them near Grace hotel as well and the whole Russian contingent was kind of missing. I looked into BG7 and while there were many of them there, did not find anyone particularly appealing. Any way, while I was about to give up, suddenly I ran into this striking light skinned, curvy girl and I decided to make the move. She had a playful face, great body, very well made D cup tits and best of all spoke great English and was a lot of fun through the night.
